Vermont is the pinnacle of cool establishments and chill vibes, and Snow Republic lives up to the Vermont standard of great places to visit. Sometimes, after a day out in VT, you just need a beer. Or a sandwich. Or both. Or many. Snow Republic has got you. They have great sandwiches, beers, FRIES, and super friendly service. I love the open atmosphere, while giving ski cabin. There is a ton of space for everyone to hang out and relax while enjoying the offerings. My wife and I love checking out breweries everywhere we travel. Was nice to find this spot within 20 minutes from our place we are staying at. Looking for a spot to grab food and a beer this looked to the perfect spot. They are a dog friendly establishment so dog owners can know. Food wise they offered a variety of pizzas, burgers, fries, and other sandwiches. Beer wise was a little disappointing for our visit considering everything on draft was an IPA with a can option of a porter. I enjoy IPAs and know how popular the style is but at least have a couple other options available at all times. Can never go wrong with a light lager or pilsner and even a sour as well. Drink wise I grabbed The Magic Carpet Ride that was a Session IPA at 5% that packed a lot of flavor for the low ABV and my wife even liked it as a non-IPA fan. She grabbed the porter and thought it was alright but nothing memorable and not the best style for warm summer weather at times. Food wise she got their Luigi (grilled chicken sandwich) while I got their OG Chicken Sandwich (fried chicken). Her sandwich was good while mine was tasty yet one side of it tasted burnt and had a slight unpleasant taste to it. The sauce on it was really tasty though. We also split their cheesy bacon fries and they were loaded with bacon and cheese. The biggest knock was the fries themselves were cold from the start. Would likely pass on them next time. The overall vibe of the place was nice, had a rustic cabin woodsy feel to it as you'd expect for rural Vermont. The music being played though was tropical and it was a nice unexpected surprise. They had both inside and outside seating, outside was a little bit of a miss with the road being so close and noise of traffic. We did prefer inside overall. They also had many games you could play, a pool table, shuffleboard, and card/board games too. Overall I would say the food and beers knocked it down by one star but still worth visiting! We came here after skiing and this place was really good. The parking is limited so just keep that in mind but you are able to wait for a parking spot and people come in and out pretty easily. The vibes were really good. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and they had a DJ playing which was really fun. We left before the live band went on, but they also have live music if you like that! The food was really really good me and my boyfriend shared chicken wings and french fries and a Caesar salad wrap. Everything was super delicious and they also have this really good sauce that came with everything. The service was that we ordered at the bar and then we would get a buzzer and then you grab the food when it's ready. The transaction was super easy and quick. Grilled chicken sandwich was very good but fries were cold and hard as rocks. Service was just ok. We were part of a ski club that let the place know we were coming (30 people), and they had one cook and one other person that took orders, poured beer, set buzzers for when orders were up, took orders from kitchen to the front and then dealt with payments. It took 45 to place order. Then others came in, skipped the line. sat at the bar and got waited on before all those in line. This is a MUST if visiting the area! We make a special trip here at least once a year because of their phenomenal chicken sandwiches. My fiancé describes them as "the best in the northeast"! Their service is mixed... Bill is a local who helps out on the floor. He's super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area, owners, and beers. The staff behind the bar were a little less welcoming. We had one issue with our food order. There is a pizza called the "straight up" which comes as a cheese pizza, a pepperoni pizza, or a half and half. We didn't realize and just ordered a "straight up" without specifying, expecting a pepperoni pizza. It was clearly a regular issue for the staff as they explained we ordered incorrectly. I am unsure why they wouldn't just made 3 separate pizzas on the menu to avoid this confusion! The beer is delicious, and the place is always busy. There are some games available inside, and you can bring your own as well. It can easily accommodate both small parties and larger groups! Good American style bar food (burgers, chicken, fries) but with great flavor! My wife and I stopped here for lunch at 12 on a Thursday. (A little early because we were driving from NH, but they let us in early) We both had the OG chicken sandwich, and we both loved it! We also shared an order of fries. I'd say one order of fries here is comparable to two 'sides' of fries at a typical restaurant. (All pictured) Food was prepared quickly and as ordered. We ate outside, and it was a nice large outdoor eating area with a variety of seating options (picnic tables, patio style tables, etc) Service is unique in the sense you walk-up and order your food, and they provide a buzzer that notifies you when your food is ready. So glad we got here this trip! Been wanting to check out Snow Republic for a while when we stumbled on their Instagram. Awesome brews and killer food. What a VT vibe! We hung out here for a few hours on a rainy Saturday - drank, ate, played some board games and pool. Our pup was welcomed inside and got to meet so many dogs. She had a blast! We so love a dog friendly brewery! We tried their new Mac Sally Chicken Sandwich which was maple buffalo topped with blue cheese macaroni salad. WOW! They have tons of pub food options from pizza, wings, burgers, fries and more. I really liked their lime sour which tasted like a lime sour patch kid! I LOVE Snow Republic. To start, you can bring your dog INSIDE the brewery. This was a huge game changer (especially because it was an hour drive from Manchester - but well worth it), plus I mean, who doesn't want to drink amazing beer with so many dogs around?! It's also conveniently located by Mt. Snow, so can see it being such a good post-ski option. The vibe itself is really welcoming and laid back - there are a ton of long tables with benches, board games everywhere, and shuffle board and a pool table. There was a ton of space to settle in, though we did come during the day so didn't see it during peak busyness, but I always love a place with communal seating (and again, dogs). We really enjoyed playing games and just sitting and hanging. All of the beers/food options were up on boards at the front of the brewery and holy shit, there are so many (incredibly solid) options. There are a ton of IPAs (my personal favorite) as well as ciders, seltzers, wine, and a full bar, so there is honestly something for everyone even if they're not beer drinkers. We opted for beers/seltzers (in cans, not on draft), getting the Valley Boi grapefruit and raspberry seltzers, Joy Ride IPA, Yard Sale IPA, and Hop Avalanche IPA (their flagship IPA). Everything was great - I actually picked up seltzers, the Yard Sale, and Hop Avalanche to-go beers to bring home because I enjoyed them so much. Beers ran about $7-$9/glass so definitely priced nicely for the quality! The food was also AWESOME, so much so especially when paired with great drinks that we came back a second time. I got the black bean burger both times with fries (Old Bay) that came with this amazing sauce that paired perfectly with the light spice from the Old Bay. The burger was AMAZING - no frozen patty bullshit that gets reheated, it was clearly homemade and fucking MASSIVE. The OG Chicken Sandwich was also a big hit (and also enormous), and my dog very much enjoyed his hot dog (no bun). Really, really solid food options. My only complaint is with myself for not ordering a pizza because they looked AMAZING and are only available on specific days (Friday - Sunday). All of the people who worked there were so friendly and I heard a lot of people who weren't settled on a particular beer ask for help and the team went above and beyond in helping them find something that worked for their preferred type of beer. We were also told about the live music/upcoming events and invited to come back and attend, so it felt SUPER welcoming. All in all, this is a place I'll definitely continue to come back to whenever I'm in Vermont and will recommend it HIGHLY to anyone heading to Mt. Snow or wanting to make a well worth it drive from Stratton or Manchester. Quality place with really good energy and vibes. A total win! read more

They were double fried which I do like the outside crispy but the inside was a bit dry/overdone. On my way up the mountain to a 4day backpacking trip, I saw this spot out the corner of my eye and thought it was like a ski shop or something lol. On the way back down, dusty, dirty, and fed up with oatmeal, peanut butter, and other trail abominations masquerading as Michelin fare, I realized this was a gd brewery. Hol' up! I pulled over on the side of the road, Yelped it, and realized they had actual food. Not food trucks. But actual food. Well I scooted my behind right back up the road and went to town. A sour beer called plum pie, maple Buffalo wings, and a burger. Woo! If this is the reward waiting for me at the end of a backpacking trip, I will backpack any and everywhere. Lest you think I'm joking about how much I like this place, I just talked my husband into doing a day trip back to VT from NJ. Told him we could look at leaves. We stopped by during our last visit while it was well below 0 degrees and a bit too cold for skiing. I think everyone had the same idea because it was pretty crowded. It's a very casual set up. First come, first serve, communal picnic type tables. Order food and drinks at the bar. Dogs were allowed inside too which was nice. It isn't huge inside and there are a lot of tables crammed in there. It did feel a bit over crowded and there wasn't a ton of room to get in and out of the benches. The benches seemed a bit flimsy so they were tipping over pretty easily. It was also very loud, both from the other guests and the music. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing but good to know depending on what you are looking for. There also isn't a ton of parking so if it's a busy time you might not be able to find a spot. My significant other ordered the salt and vinegar fries. They looked good but there was so much salt he said they were not edible. He also said the beer was ok, probably just not his preferred type of IPA. I tried a canned seltzer which was fine. It was very light, nothing special or memorable about it. I also tried a semi sweet cider which was pretty good. After that it was time for us to head out. Lots of screaming kids in there, not exactly our scene. read more

Snow Republic is an awesome place go to after skiing or snowboarding. We went for the second time after our most recent trip to Mount Snow and were not disappointed! It's a fun casual dog-friendly atmosphere with some games that you can play. It was crowded when we arrived around 3pm on a Saturday but we were able to snag a table. I tried the Apres Ski and the Alotta Nuts, both I thought were just okay. I didn't love them, which is why I am rating 4 stars. I also had a taste of the Spice Trade (which I think was a guest beer), that was not good, and I do like spicy beers. But there is something about spice and IPA that doesn't mix. However, we also tried the mocchio pizza - SO GOOD! Highly recommend. Wish they had a few more choices for apps to split with a group, but overall pizza was an excellent choice. By far the coolest brewery we've ever enjoyed! Very friendly staff! Great variety of beers, PLUS hard kombucha! They even had Whistlepig and Angel's Envy whiskeys! I ski Mt. Snow one to two times a week and love to hit Snow Republic on the way home. It's a bit pricey-today we ordered two sandwiches, a side of fries (the sandwiches come alone) and three drinks and with tip it was $100. I don't mind the price but the service sometimes leaves something to be desired. The bartender seemed annoyed while taking orders and was rude to some customers. I thought it was just us but there was a table of 8 next to us that were talking about how rude she was. Two of them went back to the bar to order drinks and came back asking what the bartenders problem was.
