I first came here soon after it opened when the menu consisted of different flavored snow. The flaky, melt-in-your-mouth consistency is indulgent and light at the same time. Took 4 little kids in this summer. Food was good, but it took probably 20 minutes and the kids were really impatient. Might've just been a bad service day or something, but I felt like 20 minutes was just a little extreme. Good quality food though! I Love this place. I always grab something from there every time I wait for my nieces in kumon. My favorite thing to get from there is mangonada. Best one so far in mass. I wish I could have written a more flattering review, as I love bubble tea, but Snowdaes disappointed me on several levels. I ordered a green Thai milk bubble tea. Some of the bubbles were barely chewable, while others were falling apart. Huge ice cubes made up half of the cup--particularly unpleasant, as I came for bubble tea, not the ice cubes, which I easily get out of my own fridge. The drink was really sugary and very watery (rather than milky). On top of that, the service was quite subpar--17 minutes to make bubble tea, while there were not too many customers? The girl that was taking the order was speaking super fast and did not seem to be particularly pleased to see the customers. After hearing really good things about Snowdaes, I decided to visit with my sisters! There are very few places nearby that offer shaved ice, so I was really excited to go. We ordered a Large Green Tea Special ($7.50) with matcha snow, red beans, condensed milk and almonds, a Mangonada Specialty Drink with mango sorbet, chamoy, tajin, and a tamarind stick ($5.75) and an Original Egg Puff ($3). The Green Tea Special was so good! I would definitely recommend it if you like anything matcha flavored. I thought the almonds would be weird, but they made for a nice, crunchy topping. I'm not sure what I was expecting when I ordered the Mangonada, but it is definitely an acquired taste! I personally really didn't like it cause I don't prefer sweet mixed with sour or salty, but my sister didn't mind it. If you've never had anything like that and are feeling adventurous, you should try that drink! The Egg Puffs were also really good. I took off a star because of the poor service we received. There were two people working behind the counter and none of them acknowledged our existence for some time, at least 5 minutes of standing there and them walking around in front of us until a sizable line started to form behind us. The boy who finally took our order seemed annoyed to even be interacting with us, maybe he was just having a bad day but it was less than desirable service. I've only gone here twice but from the looks of it there good. I got a Thai Ice Tea with pearls the first time and it was good. The second time I came here I got coffee and that was okay. They seem to be good but overly hyped. They are an asian dessert yet they don't have durian? This is the closest place to nashua that sells decent boba. I usually stop by after my grocery trip Chelmsford Hannaford, Everytime I go I tell myself I'm going to be bold and try something new but I always end up getting the same thing. I am just too in love with the L Tea and the matcha egg puffs. I have tried the dragon lady and bomb mass lychee as well and they were all good. I take my friends and family who visit me from jersey there all the time and they all love it and want me to take them there the next time they visit. This is probably our favorite spot for egg puffs locally. They remind us of the egg puffs they use to make in china town. The egg puffs are usually great in the "shorty special", but if you order them as a side they're not always fluffy and somewhat dry. Our favorite item menu here is the "shorty special". The mango spicy drink is also yummy and their shakes. I haven't tried their shaved ice cream in a while but it is refreshing. The only downside to Snowdaes is their additional charges and they also don't tell you about it. I figured since they've been open for years now they would fix it or change their menu. They ask you if you would like whipped cream on a shorty special, thinking it already is included (by the pictures hanging) but it isn't. They will ask if you want extra things but don't tell you about the extra charges once you read your receipt. Also customer service is inconsistent, it's always younger staff working. Sometimes they don't know about an item menu and they just ignore you, and there's not ever a manager around when needed. Lastly, parking is great it's not ever a problem and it is very clean inside. read more

The decor in here is very contemporary and the workers are very nice, they offer free samples with a smile and very friendly. I never had shaved ice before, and I gotta say that it's very delicious, I tried all the flavor a and I say honey dew is by far my favorite.
