    Mango smoothie
    Sandi Y.

The drink was not good at all , I didn't order any of the food so idk. I order mango smoothie and coffee , she asked what kind Lao Thai Khmer or Vietnamese coffee . I got a Vietnamese coffee but it came in the big cup full of idk what kind of milk but it didn't taste good at all. The lady charged me $22 for the 2 drinks but it just sat there in the cup holder .

Amazing service and food! The lady was super sweet and you can also tell that the ingredients were really homemade and authentic. Really brought back nostalgic Southeast Asian flavors that I haven't been able to find much of in U.S.!

My favorite place to get spring rolls (even though the contents seem to change every time) because of it's price to quantity ratio. Some times, I do get Thai Iced Tea as well. The shop has displays showing that they do sell sandwiches, but they haven't really delved into it because of the lack of staff. When it was finally made, it's already pre-made and packaged which made the bread harder. Also, it was too salty.

This shop has new owners but the iced coffee is always good, not too sweet or bitter. It's not strong like a viet coffee but still good. I also get Thai teas, and other shakes and they're also delicious! For food I got their chicken and yellow rice, like Hainanese chicken, it was decent. Definitely better fresh I tried eating it the next day and the chicken was rubbery. It's probably the cooking process but like I said when fresh it was good.

    Avocado Shake

Bakery where? It should of been called Shakes & Things. There were a lot of miscellaneous items like bags of chips, Pocky Sticks, a few prepared boxed food and Asian canned drinks. Maybe they were transitioning to the winter time items and they don't carry any baked goods or other items they normally would carry? I don't know.. Eggrolls- The only thing I found that was considered freshly made. But after eating, not-so-fresh. It's more stale if anything. Avocado Shake- Thank you lady for cutting up a fresh avocado for this! I didn't know what to expect when I saw all those jars of colorful powder behind the counter. It was pretty smooth and she added just the right amount of condensed milk to not overpower the taste of avocado. If you happen to be walking by this place, it's good for a quick boba drink or snack. But it's not a place I would go out of my way to drive to again. I was only curious.

    Green tea

Always love coming here for their shave ice, food, and desserts. Always really clean fresh and delicious. It was nice and clean and delicious. I would recommend their green tea cause it's fully brewed and fresh not Powderly fake taste. Then there's the shave ice that u can choose up to 3-4 toppings with ice obviously and color of flavor and the best part is the condensed milk. It does make it sweet but really delicious. There desserts and food got many choices to go for but one their dessert that I like is there peanut coconut balls inside is peanut with juice and a mochi texture with coconut shaving on top. Delicious for the summer honestly

Everything is delicious and made with care. My favorites are the coconut rice pancakes (nhom krouk) and the seasoned toasted bread.

    Not fresh

So disappointed. Recently went in for Cambodian donuts and a shaved ice. The Cambodian donuts were so hard and stale. Must've been at least 2 day old. As for the shaved ice..very cheap of toppings. I felt ripped off. I gave this place 5 stars ten years ago. Not sure what happened?

Nom pa chok. Huge serving for $6.00

Our standouts were definitely the Angkor Wings and the Cha Kreuong. The Angkor Wings had the perfect amount of crispiness and also the perfect blend of sweet and saltiness from the sugar and fish sauce. I liked that the Cha Kreung Sach Muon was made using ground chicken. The flavor mixed well and it was easier to eat than having to chew through larger pieces of chicken. My parents thought the taste was more towards the American pallete, which seemed accurate as my friends who never had cambodian food before liked everything we had. Service was kind and quick. And the ambiance was also clean. My parents noticed the classic cambodian songs playing and was reminiscing of their younger years. Definitely a spot I would come back again.

There was no AC when we went. Not sure if this is all the time or not, but be prepared. They don't serve alcohol so you can BYOB. Mee katong kok noodles: Similar to a pad Thai with the wide flat noodles and pork. Quite tasty and not very spicy to me, but it never is. Lort Cha: My friends favorite dish here. She always gets it and enjoys it. With chicken or pork. Yuom: Reminds you of a Vietnamese cold vermicelli dish. This one has some different flavors and was very refreshing on a hot day. Mango fried rice: Very creative fried rice served with mango pieces and it is served inside of the mango rind. They do a similar thing with the pineapple fried rice as well. Our friend enjoyed this but prefers the pineapple.

There are several tables inside, but it can get busy. Even though there might be a small wait for a table, people usually get seated within 10 min. The inside was what you can imagine of a mom and pop shop. The staff here was very nice and attentive. The food was the best part. I got the drunken noodles and it was seasoned well. I did ask for medium spice and it's a slow burn, so if you don't do spice well - get a mild spice and add additional sauces which are on the table. I can't wait to come back! The Thai tea is also perfectly balanced!

I happened to be nearby today though & finally got to give their food a try! We were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant. Their menu has a lot of Thai & Lao food options. Here's what we ended up ordering: - Crab Rangoons - Laarb Seen/Lao Beef Salad - Kowpoon/ Laotian Curry Noodle Soup - Beef Pad See Ew - Thai Iced Tea The crab rangoons were delicious! I love crab rangoons, in general, BUT these tasted unique (in a good way!). They use real crab meat in their filling & you can definitely taste a difference. I can see why this is one of their most ordered appetizer! Next, we tried their beef laarb. This was also yummy & tasted fresh. It had a good amount of cucumbers, fresh herbs, and good cuts of beef! I'm used to having laarb with ground beef or ground meat & I preferred the style I had today! Came with fresh whole Thai chili peppers so we could adjust the spice level to our liking. Now on to the entrees! I had the kowpoon/Laotian curry noodle soup & I'll be honest... it was not what I was expecting. I went in thinking that it would be similar to the Thai curry noodle soup dish Khao Soi but it tasted much lighter. I personally didn't enjoy the noodles because they were kind of soggy/overcooked. I typically like al dente for all noodles & couldn't get myself to eat more than 3 bites. I ended up taking all the noodles out of the soup & put it to the side on a spare plate. Also, I've never had this dish before but there was little to no protein in this dish, just bits of shredded chicken that was mixed in with the noodles. It was essentially a coconut curry broth with some vermicelli noodles though. For the pad see ew, we really liked this dish! It had very good flavor & noodles were perfect. Overall, I enjoyed the food we tried today at Lanxang Star! Generous portion sizes, great prices. & everything was packed with flavor. Only thing that I wasn't a fan of was how the noodles were more cooked than I would've liked. I'm not sure if this is how the dish is intended to be served & enjoyed though. The soup broth was tasty still! Parking: lots of free parking available in the parking lot
