Absolutely wonderful to work with. Arrived in the 1 hour window and was able to diagnose and fix the issue right away. The previous contractor had done a lazy job and the sprinkler head sheared off because it was higher than the lawn and easy to run into. Tracy installed a retractable head and showed me that it has some give, so it won't be sheared off like my previous head. I also showed him a concern about my drip feed. The pressure regulator seemed to be leaking, but he told me that's to be expected as pressure relief. I'm glad he was honest and didn't try to make a quick buck. read more

Needed some sprinkler repair because they were leaking all day long. Found out we needed two valves because they were both bad. Plus our shut off valve for the water was broken too. So Tracy also replaced that. He was very efficient and when I had called he came at the time they said and did a great job. This is why I love yelp. This past Saturday, my sprinklers came on by themselves and wouldn't shut off until I manually turned off the valves. Same thing Sunday. Monday I called So Cal Sprinkler and talked with a woman who offered some possible fixes, none of which worked. But she did try and I appreciate that. We set an appointment for Wednesday, Tracy came out and had things working in an hour or so for a cost I think is reasonable. One of my sprinkler was not working. It actually blew out my sprinkler controller. I looked up on yelp and reviews of So Cal Sprinkler were good. Called and set-up an appointment. Tracy showed up right on time. His analysis of the issue was spot on. Had to replace the sprinkler as the solenoids were blown (they were probably 10,000 yrs old). All the time we had great conversations. He is a great person. Fixed the issues, waited for the thing to be tested, and also fixed a few other small issues around the house. So Cal Sprinklers are not officially my permanent garden equipment maintenance guys in the future. We had Tracy come out to replace what we thought was a faulty sprinkler valve. After Tracy investigated our problem he told us that the valve was fine and that it did not need replacement. The problem we were experiencing was not a valve issue, but rather a lose pipe inside the house and needed to be resolved by a plumber. Tracy did not charge me for the service call or the time he spent checking out the problem. We have used him in the past with excellent results and will continue to use him any time we need sprinkler service because of his honesty and knowledge.
