I had a fence installed and the workers damaged the zone wiring to my sprinklers. I called John, and he came out and gave me a free estimate. He was knowledgeable, professional, and his pricing was reasonable. When his employee showed up, he was there to introduce him. His employee completed the job in a timely manner, and knocked on the door to have me check the work. I was well informed throughout the entire process. After he left, I noticed that I had a pipe leak, also a result of the fence installers. When John came by to pick up the check, I told him about the leak. John, the owner and his son Jacob came to my house today to fix some sprinkler issues I was having and to set my control box to the correct settings. My front yard had been flooded from being overwatered because the number of days and set time for watering wasn't set correctly when the control box was installed, and the front yard was basically mud. I thought I had a leak somewhere and was very alarmed! John took me to the box and educated me on how to control my watering for summer and winter months, changed the time according to daylight savings times, and how the box actually worked, and checked for leaks, which there were none. Actually, the box is pretty user friendly, but I really knew nothing about it. John listened to my concerns and treated my house as he would have his own. He is definitely a people person and very reassuring and calming. He takes the time you need to understand things. He didn't try to upsell me, as most do. He came the same day I called him to assess my concern and his son Jacob, then came later to fix my sprinklers the same day, and I was very impressed with John's service and pricing, very reasonable and timely. I did not have a chance to meet his son because I had an appointment, but I hope to in the future. I would recommend him to anyone! He delivers impeccable service. read more

I contacted sprinkler solutions after I had a horrible experience with OC sprinkler repair. John Hurley came out within the hour from the time I called him to check out my property. As promised, he sent me a quote via email the following day. He was priced very fairly in my opinion. Communication was great throughout the whole process and his crew got the job done speedily. They did a wonderful job putting the yard back together without a mess. John was kind enough to replace some much needed old sprinkler heads at no additional charge. I am thoroughly impressed with the service that John and his team provided. This was work provided a couple of months ago but am just getting around to submitting the review. I had a problem with my landscape drainage that would cause major flooding in the backyard since the drainage pipes were clogged and water could not escape and drain into the font yard. I had paid for "hydro jet" service from two different contractors who could not resolve the problem. I ended up getting several estimates from Landscape contractors, but most of them did not seem to know much about how to fix existing landscape drainage issues that are clogged underneath concrete. My drains have to flow approximately 250 feet down the driveway to the gutters, and no one had been able to diagnose where the clog was, even with a camera. John came in and explained that he had worked on many jobs with similar issues and could resolve my issue. Although this was a small size job, and he was very busy, he was able to work me into his schedule and finished the job with a couple of days of work. His Supervisor, Pedro, is very knowledgeable, and with just a couple of hours of excavation and troubleshooting, identified the section that was clogged. They cut out a section of the concrete and replaced the sections that were clogged with roots like a "cork" and now the drainage is working like new! They also patched the concrete section that was removed. I highly recommend John and his team, they are very communicative and knowledgeable. read more

He arrived at 4pm, gave me an estimate, said he'd be ther e to do the work Tuesday or Wednesday. It is now Thursday evening and he hasn't shown up or called to explain. I even called this morning asking for a return call. I left a message on their voicemail tonight stating that I do not want them to do any work on my sprinkler system. The next morning he calls again, oblivious to having already make the appointment, so we reconfirmed the appointment for 6pm. By the time 6pm rolled around, John just flat out no-showed. No calls, no follow up. Last time I went ahead with a contractor like this the job ended to be a disaster.
