My 6 and 4 year old boys had the best time at sofly camp this summer. This is the 2nd summer for my 6 year old, who also does winter camp at sofly. Both boys love the variety of activities (outdoor play, arts and crafts, cooking, field trips and enrichments, and swimming) and meeting new friends. I love the care and individual attention they are getting from the counselors. This was my very shy 4 year old's first camp experience and the counselors reached out to make sure they were doing everything they could to help him feel comfortable and have fun. SFK Camp is fantastic! My son always comes home with a smile on his face with stories to tell about his day. They spend time both indoors and outdoors which is great during the summer when an all outdoor camp can get pretty hot. My son loves the craft projects, and the sno-cones during the Friday carnivals. I asked him what his favorite part of camp was and he said "getting to play with my friends." That's another great thing: SFK goes above and beyond to honor friend group requests. As a parent, my favorite part is that it is operated by truly kind and incredible staff. The camps director, Ms. Chelsea, is very involved in every aspect of the operations and I feel comfortable leaving my son in their care. I know he is safe and the staff are attentive and caring. If I had any feedback it would be that sometimes the field trips are a little far, but they're always something worth visiting (botanical gardens, la brea far pits, museums) so it's worth it! Also, the facilities are clean, bathrooms are well-equipped for the little kids (toilet and sink stools and built in kid seat). Children wear matching camp shirts and it's very well organized. My boys 6 & 8 attended SoFly Summer Camp at Great Park in Irvine. Their experience was great and staff are excellent communicators. My kids are picky about camps but had few complaints and always looked forward to the next day. One of my kids is autistic and the camp worked with him diligently when over stimulated. Overall experience exceeded expectations! The camp has various activities including swimming, once a week vendor visits, and Friday shaved ice and even water balloon tosses. Unique to this camp is meeting every morning at the park and able to play on state of the art playground. The camp runs from 8:30 AM to 3 PM. Dropoff and pickup is simple since you meet at the park that has plenty of parking. The ratio of staff to camper is more than reasonable. I feel the camp is a hidden gem if you live outside the Great Park community. Weekly price might appear high at first though consider all the activities and the venue. My sole recommendation for camp is to have three days per week swimming in lieu of two days a week. On hot summer days, it's the kids favorite activity. read more

We absolutely love SoFly Kids Camp in Playa Vista and can't recommend it enough to all of our friends and family! Our son looks forward to every week, filled with exciting activities and new adventures. The camp has a fantastic variety of events each week, from field trips to local pools to fascinating museum visits on special days, and neighborhood walks/playground visits. Each day brings something fresh and fun, which keeps him engaged and excited to go back. Since summer camp is out of the routine of regular school weeks, we noticed that this is the only camp in which he comes home calm, regulated, and literally a happy camper!!! The staff is always warm and caring, making sure the kids are safe and having a blast. Shout out to Ms. Chelsea! It's evident that SoFly puts a lot of thought and effort into creating an enriching and fun environment for the kids. My review is specifically for the Irinve Great Park location. My son has attended (off and on) the last two years of pop-up camps and has enjoyed it. I didn't hesitate to enroll my daughter for her first camp experience this winter during school break. The counselors are always attentive and I think Amy, Matt, and Tatiana are wonderful. My kids come home happy, messy, and excited to talk about their days at camp. I love that they have a combination of indoor and outdoor play and that they separate older and younger campers when it makes sense to do so. We had an issue where an older camper talked down to my kids. I went to Amy, and with my permission, she was quick to pull my kids aside and let them know that when things like that happen they should come to her immediately so she can address it. It was also a good teaching opportunity for me and I was able to add some "real life" tips to my kids' arsenal when dealing with older kids who might think it's cute or funny to mess with little kids. Overall, I highly recommend the GPN camp; my kids are already looking forward to summer camp! read more

We can't recommend SFK highly enough! Our daughter goes there for summer camp, piano and dance... and spent much of the pandemic school year there in their learning lab. They have been an invaluable resource to our family and have taken amazing care of our daughter before and during the pandemic. Our daughter has built relationships with all of her teachers who each have taken the time to connect with her. They know her (and her idiosyncrasies) well. SFK is staffed with a professional and caring team who takes taking care of and teaching children seriously. We trust them 100%. We regularly refer others to SFK and will continue to do so. SFK is a terrific operation and we feel lucky to live close by to easily take advantage of their many offerings. read more

My 2 boys absolutely love SFK Camp. I am always hesitant to leave my kids somewhere but when I came to pick them up they couldn't wait to go back the next day. That was how it was the entire week. The counselors are very attentive and my boys loved the activities. Especially swimming. I honestly don't see us needing to look for any other summer camps. read more

My daughter has been going to So Fly Kids for a couple of years now, and she LOVES it. SFK day is her favorite day, and she looks forward to it all week. We decided to try the camps this year as this is her first year in elementary, and we needed care during school breaks. She loves going to camp here! They have a wide variety of activities they do every day and my daughter has a blast. They had a bunch of art projects, dance, science, cooking, and more. They even had a fun Easter egg hunt during spring break camps! She looked forward to going and was actually really bummed when camp was over. The counselors are great, and she looked forward to seeing them every day. As a parent, I love sending her someplace that makes her so happy. There is a secure sign in/sign out process, which puts us at ease. Everyone at SFK is so kind and patient with the kids. I'm so thankful to have found SFK and grateful to all of the instructors for taking such great care of my daughter. I can't say enough great things about SFK, and highly recommend it to everyone we know! read more

We took our kids for spring camp this year and when I went to dropped them off I saw bunch of teenagers who were going to be in charge our kids . No singing in to drop your kids no sign out. Also when we registered they asked us about Tshirt size and even charged us but they didn't even give them simple shirt. If they forget about simple thing like this how was their care in the camp! read more

My daughter is 8 and she attended at least 6-8 camp sessions with So Fly Kids Camp. She always goes to this camp happily and comes back home happy too. The counselors are positive, professional, and attentive to kids. They find an individual approach for all kids. My daughter requires extra attention in all schools and organizations we attend and it's always a struggle for me to explain to teachers that she does not have a diagnosis, instead, she is simply strong-willed and also needs to work more on emotional regulation than other children. What I appreciate about So Fly Kids camp is that they recognize that need and work with my daughter to help her have a great time at the camp. read more

This is not a dance camp as we thought. The kids are being taken to parks for hours each day. Some days my son was taken to beach all day, and came back with sunburn. Other camps we had in the past were better organized and my son actually learned some new skills. read more

I signed my 4.5 year old son up for So Fly Kids Camp over winter break. He LOVED it. He loved it so much he didn't want to come home when I picked him up and told me to come back later. He has been at the same preschool since he was an infant so this was a new experience for him with different teachers and different kids. The counselors were so welcoming and he had no problem transitioning and was excited for the new experience. He loved the arts and crafts, dance, and different sports. He kept talking about "his team" and how cool his "teachers" were. We will definitely be signing up for camp again next time it is offered! Thanks for a great first camp experience! read more

My daughter (4.5yrs) attended the Winter Camp and had the BEST time! On Day 1, she couldn't stop talking about how they "made snow" ! The drop-off and pick-up was at a wonderful park in Playa Vista (Bluff Creek Fields), so the children were playing and having fun from start to finish. The counselors were fantastic and kept in touch with me via text with any concerns. (On Day 2, my daughter was sad when a few of her friends were picked up earlier than her, so one of the counselors stayed almost an hour later on her own dime so my toddler wouldn't feel so alone..very sweet!). I highly recommend SFK Camp & will definitely sign up for future camps offered! read more

My son did a week with this camp and what a positive experience. The counselors were all so kind and energetic and great with my kid. My son didn't know anyone going into camp and came out with two new friends. They have fun field trips and their home base is in beautiful Playa Vista. He loved the playtime and games. They provide food and snacks which is also a huge plus. Jasmine, the manager is so kind and personable. All the counselors were great too. So glad we tried SoFly! Great camp! read more
