I tried to get a simple quote for a house cleaning. SoFresh made an initial offer, then when I sought to confirm, changed the terms and increased the price. Then I made a reservation online and they again called to tell me that my cleaning fell into a new category that was priced differently and would be substantially more. After asking that they honor their original price, they declined, and I decided to do business with one of the many other maid services in the area--one that won't mislead me about price. It may be that this whole, frustrating, time-consuming process was merely a product of misunderstanding. I actually think that is true. But this company needs to clearly and simply express and explain their terms and their pricing, and it's not that hard to do. Other companies have no problem with this. I am going to find a house cleaner who makes my life easier, not more difficult and endlessly frustrating. I urge others to do the same. read more

Terrible y'all! Just terrible! The story goes... They take your CC info to book the appointment and just "hold" the card on file. I was sent 2 maids that cleaned my house for 4 HOURS because I selected the Deep clean. We are showing our home to sell, otherwise I would never spend this kind of moolah! I had to ask the maids to go back and clean areas that were included in this "deep clean" price that they neglected. So when she yelled at me from the front door "I'm done!" I assumed they were. I called their office to complain and show them these photos just 5 min after they left. The maid actually called my phone and started arguing with me! What's another word for half ass? What can I say about so fresh maids that isn't already in the name. These lovely ladies came into my home like a whirlwind of elbow grease and pine sol. Let me first state that I live in a 4 story 2600 sqft town home and they cleaned this puppy top to bottom. I was amazed at what they accomplished. They spent 4-5 hours at my home and in that time they mopped, put up dishes, folded laundry, organized my clutter, wiped down my baseboards, and cleaned every window. They found dirt I didn't even know existed! Not only are the workers great, but the management is quick and responsive. The management called me before the cleaning to verify, and they also contacted me after to make sure everything had been done to my liking. I HAVE NEVER FELT MORE TAKEN CARE OF. I wish I can give this place a zero, very unprofessional, I had an appointment that I had to leave for at noon. Two days prior the company assured me they can be there at 8am the day of. The day of its 9:50 and the cleaning services never came, I complained and cancelled the services because I had to be out the door by noon. My first cleaning was scheduled on 6/13/18. The team I was assigned to was Layla and another girl who helped her. They didn't clean much of anything in the 5 hours that they were there. However, Diego assigned Diany to do a second cleaning today, 6/14/18. Diany did a much better job and she did everything in 4 hours by herself! I was very impressed and satisfied with her work. I am disappointed that it took two cleanings in order to have things the way I wanted, so this review only gets 4 stars. I do appreciate the help I received from Diego and Diany today. I hired this company to clean a vacant town home 2391 square feet, with new paint and carpet, I asked them to clean the bathrooms and kitchen, vacuum the carpet and mop the tile floors and wipe out the kitchen cabinets. Cleaners spoke no English, so I had to call the office and they had to translate. I called the office three times because the tubs were dirty and the mirrors were not cleaned. The tile floors were not clean and they wiped out about 6 cabinets. They left without having me do a final check, which I had asked the office for a call and I had to clean after them. I had scheduled them to do another property and told them that there work was so below standards that I would clean it myself. I paid $251 for this lousy job. Use someone else!!! read more

My Niece was moving into her off campus housing and the apt. was disgusting, obviously the people that moved out didn't do a good job. I found So Fresh Maids on Yelp and Christina picked up my call right away. She was super friendly so we decided to go with her immediately. The next day, Christina met us on time at the apt., but the actual person doing the cleaning was a bit late. It was an empty space, 1 bedroom, 1 bath. She did an excellent job addressing all my concerns and the place was so clean when she was finished. I felt much better moving my niece into that apt. I thought the price was a little on the high side for a 1 time move-in clean (this wasn't a move-out). However, I would highly recommend Christina and her team. Don't use these cleaners! (Not worth one star) We booked a deep clean as we are about to start showing our house and what we got was the worst cleaning job I have seen, as well as a great example of unprofessionalism. As the two ladies were cleaning we noticed a couple of areas they missed like the baseboards in the downstairs bathroom and asked them to make sure they cleaned them. After they left we walked around the house and noticed allot of dust and dirty areas they hadn't cleaned (list below). We called the company straight away and complained, they called us back and offered to send the cleaners back and finish the job, we refused as we had already cleaned all the areas they missed as we had realtors arriving that afternoon. We said we would pay for a basic clean as that is pretty much what we got, so we didn't want to be charged the full amount. But later that afternoon we were charged the full $270. Not impressed! What made it worse was the lady who cleaned the house called my wife after we complained to the office and shouted at her on the phone, completely unprofessional and uncalled for. Looking at their website it would seem they are fantastic at cleaning and at offering a professional service, from our experience this is completely untrue, for the price we have paid and service we received, I suggest finding a different company. Areas not cleaned/missed: -Kitchen surface -Kitchen backsplash (still has food spots on it) -Kitchen floor dust -Microwave exterior -1/2 bath floor and baseboards -Dust on banisters -Master bath counter top covered in dust -Hallway floor was mopped, left wet with dirty water all over it. read more

Everything the website promises, and then some! :) Our cleaner arrived on time and got right to business. She did an amazing job of cleaning the whole house and left it shiny and smelling great. I loved how my kid's stuffed animals were organized on her bed and how even little touches, like fluffing the pillows, left our house feeling brand new for days. The house I needed cleaned is a fairly large space. It's a little under 5,000 sq. ft with several smaller rooms that get overlooked. Previous cleaning crews I've hired sent 2 people and it took 9 hours to get the job done. Even then, by the time they got to the last few rooms, they were exhausted and did the bare minimum. I was a bit nervous hiring another crew. But Elsa and her crew of 3 arrived early, and the four of them finished the job in 4 hours. Before they left, Elsa double checked every detail and even had a couple of crew members go over some spots again. She made sure to walk me around the house, showing me improvements that were made and making sure everything was up to my standards. They did such a fantastic job. I would absolutely recommend So Fresh Maids and if you can make it happen, ask for Elsa to clean your home. Christina gave me an estimate over the phone for a move out clean of our 3 story townhouse inside the Houston 610 Loop which was comparable to other cleaning services. We booked the service for later that week and the cleaning team was there within the one hour window as agreed. The house now looks perfect for the new photo shoot before putting it on the market. I needed someone desperately for my parents 2300 sq ft house. After searching and contacting many people, I came across So Fresh Maids. I contacted them and received a prompt response with all the details I needed on Yelp. I loved the fact they had a checklist and their rates are not based per hour as some people work slow and some dont. We had Karla and Rosa on the day of the service. They arrived within the time period I selected at time of booking. Yes, they did not know English, however, we contacted the phone number and they translated everything and we were told if any issues to call them back. They were amazing at what they did and we were extremely satisfied with the service. We went with basic cleaning and if needed in future, will definitely go with other services. The worst maid service I've ever received. The ladies (Elsa & someone else) assigned to my home did not clean my house based on what I ordered. I paid for deep cleaning, & none of my bathrooms were cleaned. The floors & tiles were not swept and mopped. It was as if they did spot sweeping to make it appear as though the floors were swept. There was dust left under my furniture, beds, and behind my furniture. I have wood floors throughout my home & they left white residue all over my floors. They used the excuse that they had to fold clothes which I never even paid for that service. They were in my home for 3hrs & it looked like nothing was done. Do not use this maid service, Tiffany's review is very similar to what happened to me. I am still trying to recoup the money wasted, I should not have to pay for ZERO service. Terrible service!!!! I had hopes to have regular monthly cleaning but now I will never use you guys again, and will definitely spread the word about your terrible service!! Fake reviews!!!!!! Horrible. I arranged a "deep clean" for my home and paid $286 after using a coupon code. I returned home after the cleaning to find that one of my bathrooms was not cleaned at all, none of the cabinets in the kitchen were cleaned, nor was the hood over my stove (all part of the "basic clean"), and the chair rail throughout my house was dusty. The top shelves of my entertainment center were dusty, there were cup marks on tables, and the top of the fridge was not cleaned. Also, the master shower was not "scrubbed", and the toilets were not cleaned. I called and spoke to Christina who assured me she sent her 2 best cleaners and they were there for 5 hours. Only they weren't. I have an alarm, so I know they were there from 9:45-12:45, 3 hours, not 5, for which I paid nearly $100/hour. She arranged a re-clean the next day. Gabby arrived early the next morning and I went over the issues 3 times with her. I left for work and when I returned, only one row of cabinets had been dusted and none of the cabinets on my island were cleaned, the chair rail was still dusty, and the toilets were still obviously not cleaned. I called Christina again and she dismissed my complaints and offered to refund me $40. So much for that 200% guarantee. I would absolutely never use this company again. I am shocked by the 5 star reviews and can only imagine they are fake. read more

This was such an outstanding experience. Elsa arrived closer to the beginning of her 1 hour time slot with another coworker. She was extremely polite, friendly and listened to me tell her specific things I needed done. I got the deep clean with fridge and baseboard cleaning. I have a 1 bed/1bath apartment, and a deep clean for several hours under $200 was exactly what was looking for. I left after they arrived and gave a key for them to lock up and leave on my light fixture. When I got home, I was so surprised. I have lived in my apartment for 3 years and have never seen it this clean (even at move in). They did an outstanding job, and I couldn't be more pleased. In addition, I had to call the company number a couple of times to be sure I could leave when Elsa arrived, and also to confirm that my tip would be included when they ran my card. I spoke with Shannon each time, and she was extremely kind and professional. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my experience.
