I dropped off an expensive downlite comforter to get washed. Because I just had surgery, I didn't pick it up right away. When I finally went to get it, it had gone missing. They couldn't offer any explanation as to what happened to my comforter. I had just bought it and the cost was $225.00. I had a ticket with a blanket on it also. My husband picked up the blanket but not the comforter. Please hang onto your ticket and take a picture of it on your phone also. Because it was over 30 days, it was considered my fault. I have a white, king size down comforter that won't fit into my washer at home so when one of my grandkids sleeps over and inadvertently a diaper leaks or a dirty, wet dog paw jumps all over it, off to the laundromat I go. I have gone to a few different ones and they're fine or just okay or downright gross so I was thrilled when I found the Soapbox. It's clean, it smells nice and the machines work but the best part about this business are the people who work there. They are helpful and kind but most importantly is if you need help they don't make you feel like you're a bother, that they have something else or better to do. It can be busy but people are very respectful and responsive by removing their items from the machines quickly so there isn't any grumbling. Awful and hateful little troll of a lady yelling at everyone to hurry up. Lectured me that 8:32 is not 8:30 when last wash is supposed to start. then ran over to tell me the washer was done the though it hadn't even stopped spinning. The first time I came to Soap Box I brought in 70lbs of dirty laundry and treated myself to their wash and fold service ($1.00/pound). It was 4pm on a Sunday. My husband and I nearly dropped to the floor when the woman behind the counter asked us if we would like to pick it up later the same day! (I did not presume to know her ethnic background and I'm confused as to why Troy L felt it necessary to mention it in his review) That was 2 years ago and shortly after that my dryer broke. I still haven't replaced my dryer and have been bringing in my laundry ever since! The staff is very sweet, cheerful and hard working. I have not a single complaint! read more

Not happy with my experience at this laundromat. I went in with 3 half dollar coins and the two hispanic people working here looked at me like I was trying to pull something. All I wanted was quarters to use in the machines. If I was trying to pull something I would've took the quarters and left. You really have to train your employees about (American) currency. My washing machine broke and I went to a bear by laundromat. Was very good experience. The surroundings were clean and tidy and the employees always treat you like your welcome. The lights are bright and gives you a almost friendly and comfortable feeling. The employee behind the counter answered my questions politely and professionally. They had different sized washers and dryers so I didn't feel like I was wasting my money and they had many preferences for the washing of my clothes. They also had detergent and softeners in stock so if I ran out, I could buy one without driving to another store.
