Soapology is a fantastic spot for natural body care products. They offer a variety of selection of soaps, candles, lotions, and scrubs, all with wonderful scents. One of the highlights is the free hand wash treatment, and the ability to try out different fragrances before buying. You can even create your own custom lotion by blending oils, which adds a fun and personal touch. The customer service is excellent, and the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, with soothing music that enhances the experience. Dina was an amazing, we bought, soaps, lotion, scrubs and candles

I was walking by and I saw the storefront and it was so cute I just had to stop in. As soon as I did, I was greeted warmly and offered a free tryout of the hand soap. I expected it to be like in Bath and body Works, where they just give you a pump of the soap, let you wash your hands in a little sink, and that's it. But it was a whole extensive process, demo, and explanation of the products! She took me to the bathtub at the end of the store that had multiple faucets, dispensed my scent selection of the hand soap, and started explaining the scent and benefits of the product as I was using it. She continued to do this for every step of the process, which included the sugar scrub, a light exfoliating scrub, a moisturizer, a balm, and a special candle that was safe to use on skin! I was amazed and my hands were baby soft and smelling great by the end. It's also a great place to buy gifts or souvenirs, which I did, and they were kind enough to give us a couple mini free samples of their bars of soap, which I really appreciated! I'll probably be back for some of those hand products, since I work with my hands a lot and I wanna keep them soft and nice. Great experience!

The hull of the walnut, also known as the husk, is ground up & made into a powder Excellent product!!!!

Amazing experience, amazing products!!!! The scents are divine, they smell natural, clean, elegant!!!! Warm welcoming, excellent experience, excellent customer service. They let you try the products by doing a whole hand washing, hand care treatment. You need to go and visit this store.

Found this gem on Yelp. Didn't realize it was a block away from the route I walk to work every day either. What a sweet store with kind employees. The woman working today wasn't too pushy and let me roam while still quickly showing me why their candles are special. I love this type of customer service. Bought a $50 brass bird dish and a $10 candle snufter. Saw there was a 20% off for new customer Check In Offer which is what made me pull the trigger on the brass catch-all dish plus the snufter that I originally was only going to buy. What a great business you run. Keep doing what you're doing!

Really large selection. Some of the fragrances are extremely strong so shop wisely. There is a large selection of soaps and home sprays.

The walnut scrub is a fine pulverized concoction of oils and walnut shells, chemical free and the tub will last you a very long time.

I walked into a space that covers a lot of ground, from snacks and drinks to beauty products, home goods, and collectibles, and the density of what is on display makes it easy to spend more time browsing than I planned. The snack selection is the strongest draw and covers an impressive range. I saw Asian versions of familiar American snacks sitting alongside Japanese and Korean originals, and the drink section downstairs is broad enough that finding something I have not tried before is a near certainty. The variety of drinks, many with anime or character branding, reflects a buying approach that goes beyond the standard convenience store selection. The beauty and skincare section upstairs is well stocked with Korean and Japanese brands that are not widely available at American drugstores. I browsed through everything from face wash to sheet masks and specialty treatments, and the prices are competitive for imported products of this type. Blind boxes occupy their own significant section, and the selection across different series is one of the better in the city, with reasonable pricing relative to what the same items cost at specialty toy stores. Home goods, toys, collectibles, and kawaii accessories fill the remaining floor space. For a one stop shop for Korean and Japanese lifestyle goods, snacks, and beauty products in Koreatown, TESO Life delivers a broad and browsable experience that rewards repeat visits.

Right after they charged me, the order was canceled with the excuse that I had requested the cancellation, which is absolutely false. I never canceled anything. Since then, my money has been in dispute because: The company does not respond to emails. They only send automated messages saying someone will get in touch with me, but no one ever does. Meanwhile, MELIO claims that they already sent the money to the seller and is now asking me to either pay again or provide my card number so they can try to charge me again. Absolutely not! This is robbery. I should not have to lose my money like this. And who is going to compensate me for the damage? This situation is unacceptable. I have already reported this case to: My credit card company The Better Business Bureau The appropriate authorities here in California These two companies are working together to scam people. I walked into a store that is essentially one large room, and the density of product on display meant navigating it during a busy period required some patience, but the selection within that compact space was broader than the size suggested. The Korean literature section covers both Korean language and English language editions across a range of genres, which makes it genuinely useful for anyone studying the language or looking for titles that are difficult to find at general bookstores in the city. I saw children's books in Korean, well stocked. The K pop side of the store covers albums, photocards, posters, keychains, stickers, and merchandise across a wide range of artists, with BTS having a particularly strong presence historically alongside newer groups. Pricing runs higher than what I would pay ordering online or finding the same items at a larger retailer, which is the standard trade off for a specialty shop in Manhattan. Album prices in particular can be steep, though sale events bring them down to more competitive territory. Individual accessory items like stickers and bookmarks are priced at a premium relative to their size, so going in with a sense of what I am willing to spend helps avoid sticker shock at the register. The store is a reliable stop for anyone looking for Korean books or K pop merchandise in a physical retail setting in New York, with the caveat that the pricing and the crowd level are both factors worth knowing about before I go.
