I had a very disappointing experience at Soapy Shark Car Wash on Okeechobee Blvd in West Palm Beach. Before paying, I politely explained to the gate attendant that my new vehicle had some road salt on it (I was in Michigan 2 days ago) and asked if it would be possible to run it through a second time if needed to ensure everything was removed. The attendant was friendly and helpful and told me, "Sure, no problem man -- we're here to help." Great! Based on that assurance, I purchased the highest-tier wash for $30. After the wash, I was still worried about salt residue (as one should) and came around for the rewash that had been discussed beforehand. That's when things took a turn. The site manager (or assistant manager) immediately became dismissive and antagonistic, challenging me with comments like "Where do you see salt?" rather than addressing the request that had already been approved before I paid. To add insult to injury, the "rewash" I was eventually sent through was just the most basic wash -- despite the fact that I had paid for the top-tier $30 package in the first place. It was an unnecessary confrontation over a simple and reasonable request. No paying customer should be made to feel like they have to defend themselves just to receive the service that was already agreed to. The contrast between the polite gate attendant and the unprofessional behavior from management was striking. Unfortunately, the manager's attitude completely undermined what should have been a straightforward customer service interaction. Very disappointing experience, especially for a business that should understand that basic courtesy and professionalism go a long way. The gate attendant understood customer service. The site manager clearly did not. It's amazing how quickly a straightforward, polite request can turn into a needlessly adversarial interaction when someone in charge decides they'd rather argue with a customer than simply honor what was already promised. read more

My car is always clean thanks to Soapy Shark! I had a membership with El Car Wash before but my car stays cleaner longer with Soapy Shark. The drive through is longer time and the cleaning service area is a lot neater and cleaner. Although a lot of times, they aren't stocked on towels. Staff is always nice and gives out car scent if you request one. I have the 3 months special at $10 a month. So far so good! read more

My brand new car was damaged here. The paint was scratched in swirls, the hood had scratches and paint needs to be repaired, luckily I had a clear paint protection film, the film is not repairable and needs to be removed and replaced. The windshield has a bunch of tiny dings. Manager Evan appeared super helpful and filed an incident report. He said to get two estimates to present to the owner so they could decide if they would pay out of pocket or go through insurance. I went and got four. I emailed them to Evan, I dropped them off in person, I emailed again, I followed back up in person, I called, I called again. No response. The only response I have gotten is from a google review to all the number that is linked to an AI system without access to a real human and nobody calls back ever. Not Evan, not Chase the Asst. Manager, not the owner. This place is dishonest. Accidents happen but they do not handle it professionally. $36 a month and thousands in damages. They didn't even refund the car wash. I even canceled just to get their attention and nothing. Other reviews have the same frustrations. Think twice. The convenience isn't worth the hassle in the long run. read more

The pre wash station is cool. You can get out and wipe any pesky stains or bugs off before entering the wash. The staff is nice. I think they are a bit pricey. But I mean it could be based on the amenities so they charge you for it all but say it's "free". The was super cool, I felt my SUV was secured safely compared to other car washes. I did notice weird streaks and sponge like material on the vehicle when I parked. read more

I was having such a day and then a handsome young man, Walter greeted me at Soapy Shark Car Wash with such extraordinary kindness, and compassion that it turned my day around! My car and I were both downcast and sad but we both left looking shiny and new. I was smiling and so was my car. I highly recommend this car wash! It's fast it's affordable I trust them with my nice whip. The service was great, the kindness was greatly appreciated and will be remembered. This is exactly what the world needs more of today. I debated on where to stop in for a quick wash and I'm so glad I chose this one.l! They have a pre wash station when you pull I. So you can wipe down dirt, grime, bugs etc off your car before the wash which I loved. Plenty of wash items at very affordable prices. Friendly staff and super clean facility! When you come out they have the vacuums - 2 different nozzle head types which really helps get hard to reach areas, plus the compressed air nozzle. In addition they also offer you towels to wipe down you car and windows + glass cleaner. Will definitely be visiting again. read more

There are two locations...personally I prefer the one in West Palm Beach. The music is great, Diego is very, very accommodating and helpful. These days there are so many car washes to choose from...the staff here is great. The dryers here are better than the other location and the self serve brushes aren't broken. My only issue is the carpet cleaners never work. Thank you. read more

This place is infinitely better than any car wash we've been to. The wash is thorough, in the vacuuming area they have clean touch up towels, window cleaner, and air for cleaning the hard to reach spots (a gazillion X better amenities than Johnny's down the road... where we previously went for months before finding this place). Not to mention the great customer service and small but noteworthy touches like the music selection and clean bathrooms. Soapy Shark is easy to get in and out of, isn't overwhelmingly busy, and honestly has made car washes a fun part of our weekly routine. The wash itself and services provided were pretty good. Their Customer Service IS HORRIBLE. I sent them a message through their site in November of 2024 to cancel my membership due to getting a brand new car, no more machine washing. I assumed my account would have been cancelled. I realized in March of 2025 my card was still being charged. I did not find a way to cancel anywhere on their website initially in November and thought the website message would suffice. I was wrong. I did find an updated website this time and was able to cancel online now, so I did. I have sent several messages requesting a refund for the months I cancelled and did not use their services and as of this review, NONE of the emails have been returned. I have also read this seems to be an ongoing issue with them and customer service. If this continues after this review I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well. read more

New car wash with good equipment, I've never seen this before but I like the mechanism for loading car tires upon entry, more like a conveyor belt , instead of metal rails that make me worry if entry into tunnel will harm my tires. They provide glass cleaner, cleaning towels, and vacuums after wash for self-service. Horrible, staff member that goes by the name of Diego was being very rude at the pay station when I pulled in he was on his phone and when I asked for help he told me to wait a moment. Then proceeded to text someone on his phone other then that the wash was good! I love how they have towels to clean my windows and the vacuums are so good they do not leave any debris behind!
