This is by far the best car wash anywhere near my house. I drive 20 minutes to get here. It is more expensive than the competition but worth it. Our cars are spotless inside and out. I have been going here for years. I write this review only because I saw some recent negative reviews when checking the hours on Maps. Went to Hector's this morning to get my Ford F-250 pickup washed. Was greeted by a friendly guy and I asked for the $29.99 wash inside and out. On the sign it said $5/$10 more for SUV or Pickup. I assumed I would have the $10 upcharge and had no problem with it. He told me it was $55 !!! I asked why and he said "Ooh very big !" It's a standard stock ford crew cab, and no third row seat or luggage compartment like a big SUV. I agreed to the price as I heard good things about Hector's and wanted to see if it was worth it. Well.... it wasn't ....when I got an opportunity to really look at the truck they never cleaned under the wipers, the rims still had a ton of brake dust on them and there were a bunch of pollen spots on the hood. I will not be going back. Always went to Pelican, Going back there again, I get a month of washes for $60 and way better job !!!!! read more

BEWARE!!! Every time we come with our SUV we pay in cash and it's ALWAYS a different price. There's no price listed on the board for the up charge on an SUV so apparently we are charged whatever they think we will pay. Dishonesty abounds. After having my car washed, one of the workers gets in my car and spins all 4 tires half way across the parking lot. Then throws in reverse and blasts back into parking space. I confront the guy he just laughed and kept walking. I tell the manger he just says I'm sorry. The owner then arrives, I tell him what happened. He just says I'm sorry, what do you expect me to do because there was no damage!!! My car is high hp, AWD British import...not inexpensive. Never going there!! Wow. I just went to Hector's today, Aug 8, 2023 for the first time. It was also the first time I have had my beloved Mercedes SL550 washed in the 5 years since I moved here from New Jersey! I am an amateur detailer and have always avoided car washes here in Florida and have done it myself. My car was "bombarded" by bird poop this morning and I decided to be lazy and took it to Hector's. I was met by a really nice woman from the very start. The wash was entirely by hand and I watched the workers very carefully. Their work was impeccable. As I said to one of the owners, this was the best car wash I have ever received. I have been driving for more than 40 years and up north got my vehicles washed commercially hundreds of times. There was so much push to buy added services. After paying for inside out, and while waiting for the car, I saw the price board. He didn't want me to look at it and he kept pushing me to walk away. I found out he overcharged me. My husband was there the day before and he was overcharged. It seems if you drive up with a foreign car or as a female , he'll take advantage and charge what he thinks he can get out of you. Be careful!!! read more

I live in North Palm Beach and passed the gas station where Hectors is located in the rear. Yesterday I finally brought my car there. Amazing! True hand wash. They are pros. High-pressure sprayers and good old elbow grease. They make sure your car is clean top to bottom.

I just paid $40 for a Dodge Ram pickup car wash at Hector's Car Wash. I reviewed what areas I wanted them to focus on, basically it was just an exterior wash, but apparently no one heard what I said. When I went to retrieve my keys, there were about 10 guys standing around as I took out my own rag to wipe the water spots from the rims, mirrors, and under carriage as well as the dirt that was still visible on the white paint. I attempted to speak to one of the 10 guys to point out what needed to be wiped down, but no one spoke English, so I went to speak to the manager. He tried to say the dirt was embedded in the paint (which I showed him by using a rag and a quick wipe down that it was not embedded in the paint). No apology was offered, nor did he make any effort to assist with wiping down the dirt or water spots. Highly disappointed with the quality of the car wash I received and even more disappointed by customer service, or rather lack of. I will not be returning & highly recommend you don't either. read more

This is THEEE ABSOLUTE WORSE SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED! DO NOT GO HERE! The lack of professionalism and customer service are just the tips of the iceberg. They gave me a car that was still wet - beyond unacceptable. The next days my car started to smell of mildew and of course this attracts roaches. I tipped them $30 beforehand and that was my biggest mistake. They forgot my car mats so the next day I had to drive back 20-25 mins to retrieve them. I even had to clean my inside doors myself. Now to kill the bacteria or whatever else, I tossed baking soda throughout my car with helped with some of the moisture and smell. Because I moved, I asked Hector for a refund. He texted me back that since I left a bad review he ultimately won't do anything. I'm going to get my money back through my bank but the disrespect from a company that ruined my car is sooo distasteful. Go here at your own risk! read more
