There is definitely more people and it is most likely due to kids being off for the summer. Nothing added since I have been away. The fees did increase a while ago. I will add that it is getting a bit messy. 3 out of the 5-days, there have been no paper towels in the men's restroom. Paper towels are essential for sanitary reasons. The gym gets a bit messy and peeps are not always wiping down equipment after use, so sweat is clearly visible. Perhaps they could implement periodic daily inspections to ensure a well keep environment. If they have a program in place, then perhaps ensure follow through. Staff is typically friendly and welcoming upon entry and exit with a few that pay no attention to your existence and are in their own world. All in all it is still a convenient place to work out, but as fees increase so should the up keep of the facility.

I do appreciate that they gave me a 40$ laundry card...when I went back to the laundry mat it was permanently closed. So I messaged the company to see what's going on and she responded with "the laundrymat is closed indefinitely, but I'll see what else we can offer you to wash". I never got an update for this.. I had to message them and ask again to find out that they no longer offer this.(glad i didnt hold my breath.) After the fire crisis I saw they posted something saying 'if your in need of food or household items message us or dm us" I did both...more then once (trying to set something up) and it was impossible. Clearly if people are in need, they are going to reach out to these organizations to see if they can help..but I just felt like I was begging and being an inconvenience with the way I was responded to when I told them I didn't have a way to get there. I even had 2 large bags of donations to give and I let them know...they never came to pick them up (but said they would). I originally was happy to have found something like this because I'm disabled and don't have a car so it's hard for me to get around, I'm not from LA either so it's not easy for me to take public transportation. Hopefully everyone else can receive services they promote and not feel like a bother. Im very hurt by looking at the past reviews and how easy it was for others to receive food deliveries "the same day" or "promptly". I feel discriminated against and like I was lied to and blown off.

Great place to donate items. I called beforehand and made sure that they were open and was able to…read moredonate stuff. The whole process was easy. You enter through their garage, where a friendly security guard helps guide you through the process. They also provide donation receipts if needed. They accept almost everything, including men's and women's clothing, books, shoes, and unbroken kitchenware. The only items they don't accept are children's clothing. The security guard let us know that the donations go directly to people experiencing homelessness, and there is also a women's recovery center upstairs that many of the items support. It feels much better donating here compared to street donation bins that often get tampered with. Highly recommend donating here if you're looking for a meaningful place to give back and wanting to donate your items.

Came across this rescue on social media and wanted to volunteer. I got in contact with the right…read moreperson and began to strategize on a schedule and I was communicative with appropriate time too but conflicts began to occur. I had a scheduled volunteer day and time and woke up on time to go and i texted POC to confirm and they told me that the other volunteer wouldn't be in (if i didnt confirm with a text i probably would have shown up without notice) and i reached out to schedule another day and received no word. I would say i am fairly patient and understanding person with rescues because they are so busy but i would recommend for this rescue to have a dedicated staff member to help volunteers and have a calendar put together and just be better organized. I unfortunately wont be volunteering here anymore. They are doing good work but im bummed because i did want to volunteer here but as a person that values organization it just didnt fit.
