Worst customer service ever!! Needed commercial door repair…read morecalled Phil cause sticker was on door. Worst mistake! He shows up tells me needs 2 new door panels hinges new cables and have to order. Tells me I will have to board up my door. After 45 years running an auto repair with 10 overhead doors I know a thing or two. After begging him to help we secured door closed in about 15 minutes without boarding it up. I think he just did not want to get his hands dirty. However secured the door will not work. He tells me 10 to 14 days to get panels and repair. For 6 weeks Phil has me unable to do business as my door still does not work. No calls or updates from Phil. When I call Phil to find out what's going on he has some warehouse girl I never met at factory call me to address Phil's failures at customer service. I had to call to have someone make door work and all it needed was to be put back on track took about 30 minutes and works just fine. Now it's 5 months later and Phil contacts me muscling me and harassing me to have the door panels installed that were supposed to be in 10 to 14 days that I really did not need that he now has 5 months later. He then proceeds to harass my neighbors the other tenants in my building. He even went as far as contacting my landlord. He is incapable rude and lacks any kind of customer service or compassion. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid Phil and Koelinger Garage Door at all costs!

I called Advocate out to reroof my back porch, which was a small job. He gave me a quote of $2,700…read morewhich covered materials and flashing the facia etc. and let me know they would need to replace some of the plywood and that would be an additional $55 a sheet, so I did expect some overage. The roofers showed up on 5/2 and roofed the house. But they didn't complete the job (soffit and fascia) and left scraps and sheet metal all over the yard and had obviously not run a magnet around the yard because I picked up a ton of nails, debris etc in the yard. I let Brian know on 5/5 and didn't hear back, I contacted him again on 5/8 and was told Jose would show up on 5/10 to complete the facia. Jose was a no call no show. I had to reach out to Brian again to get the job done and they sent a couple guys out to finish the job on 5/12 but unfortunately they didn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish and they didn't know what they were supposed to do so they left. Again, I had to contact Brian to reschedule. 5/24 they showed up and "completed" the job. Upon inspection of their work I found for the soffit, they went over the rotten wood which should have been removed, used white caulk on brown flashing, still hadn't completed the flashing on the left side of the roof, didn't secure some flashing, and again left debris all over the yard. So I called Brian again to let him know my findings and in the meantime he sent me a bill that was 57% higher ($4,250) than his original bid! He stopped by 5/26, for which I had to take a day off work to make sure he understood my concerns. The crew came back later that day to finish and rework the soffit and left. Upon inspection I still found some rotten wood where it should have been removed and again debris was everywhere. I talked to Brian again and let him know I was less than satisfied with the job and let him know I'd be leaving a review online to which I just got an apology without an attempt to make it right. It's very apparent he and the crew don't have pride in their work or care about their customers. I paid him and I can say the only thing he did efficiently was cash my check. If you want a substandard job and some apologies Brian is your man - otherwise go somewhere else.
