I will never walk the same again after going to "school" here. The "school" they offer is barely more than what you would get from visiting your cousin in the backwoods and his beat to hell 10+ year old DRZ. What I experienced: 5-10 minutes of lecture that is yelled over the other vehicles on the track, followed by 15-20 minutes of free reign on the track to practice what was in the lecture, along with the other 10+ people in the class. DO NOT EXPECT ANY INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION. If you have bad habits or don't interpret the lecture exactly as intended, it's on you to recognize and fix your own problems! The instructor and other people working there are barely paying any attention, if any at all, once you get on the track, as you will see from my experience below. On a bike I was told not to stall or it wouldn't start back up, I went into a turn near the start of the course and lost traction to the rear of the bike. My foot, while in the position they instructed us to have it in, caught the ground as the bike slid out from under me which caused my foot to twist around with a sickening *pop*. This is a sound that is now burned forever in my memory. I immediately drug myself off the hot asphalt track and started yelling out for help while waving my arms, to no effect. I waited, and waited, and yelled more while waving my arms, watching the other riders pass me on the side MULTIPLE times. SEVERAL minutes pass before anyone comes to help me... and their first question is "Can you walk?" JFC, if I could walk I would be doing that! From there I was carried under the arms by two of the guys up a hill where I vaguely remember being asked if I needed an ambulance. I should have said yes, but being in shock from the amount of pain, I must have declined since no ambulance was called. Doctors later said that I could have easily bled out quickly based on my injury and that anyone with any training would have instantly called an ambulance. I was with it enough to know that I needed a hospital though and expressed that. I was then put into a car, driven back to the area where the riders were still going around the track and was told to wait... while they fill out some paperwork? The instructor, who wasnt even monitoring the track at the time made sure to stop the car to make sure to offer me a free re-try on the "school", how nice of them, no thanks bud. Easily 10 more minutes go by as they fill out paperwork, with me sitting in this employee's car which had drugs and paraphernalia clearly visible in the center console. The car I was in couldn't take me to the hospital for whatever reason and all my friends came on bikes. Thankfully one of the other mechanics was able to take me to the ER, thank you sir! This experience made it glaringly clear that there was absolutely no one prepared for accidents. There were zero medical or emergency personnel on staff that I could tell as well. For such a risk prone activity this is unacceptable. This incident resulted in spiral fractures on both my Tibia and Fibula which extended into the ankle joint requiring extensive surgery and stay in hospital and will effect how I walk for the rest of my life. My advice, steer clear of this joke of a school if you value your safety. read more

I live in Hawaii and I have made the trip to go out to California to attend this school twice now. The instructors are amazing, and the whole day is an absolute blast. I would recommend this school to any kind of rider: supermoto, dirt, street, dual sport, or anything else. They cater to all kinds of riding and skill levels of riding. They are also very understanding if you are a beginner rider and will make you are comfortable on the bike even if you just started riding. Beginner or not, you will see progress by the end of the day and learn new things for sure. You'll want to keep riding as long as you can, but by the end of the day you are exhausted because you get so much seat time. I would absolutely make the trip back out there to do it again. Just watch when you do wheelies around Brian, he isn't too fond of them haha. read more

Great value for money: a full day of riding (50% of the time waiting in between track time, while carts or serious supermoto riders use the track) and free use of Super Motos provided by the owners (DRZ 400s - pretty worn out and highly variable brake quality - rider beware!). The instructor/owner is called Brian and is an awesome guy: very friendly and easy going. His instruction is simple and useful for beginners/intermediate riders. The biggest flaw is that they mix several levels of skill in the group; I was cut-off very dangerously by an extremely fast and aggressive rider who caused me to crash and damage my foot pretty badly. The organizers need to tell some guys to back off as these are not races. All in all, it is an awesome experience and very good value for money. read more

Honestly the bikes were not taken care of at all. I rode five different bikes and only one was a pleasure to ride. I understand that there are hundreds of different individuals riding these bikes but making money you would think of investing a little more back in. The owners left 2 hours in to go surfing making a joke about his chiropractor or some bs. They left. Stew whatever was left to tend to the class and they ordered three pizzas for lunch. There were 18 of us total. Do the math. Thank god I brought food. I personally had a bad time because I'm a rider who has years of different experience in motorcycles who is above average riding many styles and they treated me as if I had none and insulted me in front of other customers/riders. The owners wife also cursed at me on the track for going too fast twice. And her husband also told me twice I was going too fast when there were riders not in the school flying around us and we were never told they would be riding with us. Also the morning rides it was 15 on 15 off. In afternoon it was 15 bikes, 15 carts and 15 big carts. They took half of the afternoon away from riding never telling us. Very un professional. If you are absolutely new to riding go ahead. If you are experienced this is not for you. Cheers. read more

What a blast! I'm an instructor with the California Motorcycle Safety Program and a bunch if us arranged a day to try out this Supermoto thing. Although being a professional in the field, I had to admit to Brian (the owner) that I was a fish out of water in this specific version of moto and was hoping to receive an introduction that assumed I knew nothing. Brian assured me that this is exactly what they do and boy was he right! Bucky was our instructor who did a wonderful job of transitioning us between theory sessions and exercises with just the right amount of constructive criticism. Within 15 minutes I was blasting through turns using an approach I had to date never considered. I have to admit some of the techniques were a bit head-scratchingly contradictory to concepts employed in regular street riding (and even road racing), but this has forced me to re-evaluate and expand my knowledge of motorcycle dynamics and race technique, which was my original intention. So, mission accomplished - not to mention grinning ear to ear like a total fool! Katie was a delight as well was Frank with his mad scientist, high-energy self.
