They get one star because it is the minimum, AND they did not charge me for their awesome services . DISHONEST people! I needed a moving permit and registration renewal and was informed that the total…read morecost would be $50 on the phone. I went to Jackie's and processed the transaction. They explained since I needed a moving permit I will need to pay my registrations fee in advance and come back with my smog paperwork's to complete my registrations. I paid my fees and confirmed that once I get my smog completed.. I just need to return and turn in my smog paperwork to Jackie's and the process is completed. Super simple and easy. I return with my smog paperwork and now they want to charge me an additional $50 to complete the transaction. Even my receipt states "California Registration Renewal Fees." Jackie, herself, explained to me in detail why they need to charge me again. Her employee failed to explain the part to complete the registration you will need to pay another $50 to turn in your smog paperwork. She apologizes nothing can be done because the employee Jackie failed to trained properly that did my paperwork conveniently, is no longer with them and no one can dispute what the employee did. I was there on 10/13 and today is 10/24. Why would I pay $50 dollars to do my registration renewal process but have to pay another $50 just to complete it? One's incompetence to train their employee should not be made held accountable by your customers.

On top of the great customer service, the office was clean and well-kept, with plenty of seating for a smaller spot. And the AC? Next level, definitely appreciated. Pricing was reasonable too. They accept card (including tap-to-pay) and cash, which made it super convenient. I had a horrible experience and will never go back. I found…read morethem online and headed down there, but realized I'd arrive a few minutes after they closed at 6pm because of terrible traffic. I called ahead and spoke with the employee who said that he understood and would wait for me. I got there at exactly 6:03 PM and the place was completely locked up and shut down. I was shocked, I called the business and nobody answered and the voice mail was full. Their neighbor said they left several minutes before I got there. Fortunately I did a quick Google search and found another smog test center called D & S Automotive that was open until 8PM and just a few minutes away. I called them and went down and received excellent service from Mike. It only took a few minutes, he was very friendly and even offered my handicapped brother a bottle of water. I would strongly recommend anyone to go to D & S Automotive for their smog check instead of this horrible place.

He said thank you for choosing our business we appreciate you. That made us feel very welcome. The process to get the vehicle we needed registered was quick and easy. You pay a convenience fee which we didn't mind paying. They are open on a Saturday and we didn't have to bother with the crowed DMV during the week. The service requested was quick and smooth and I love the fact that the owner of the company Daisy did the inspection for us. It's rare to see people who own the company really do the work. We will be back for all of our vehicle registration needs.
