It was my first time here for a smog check. I used their online coupon but the attendant charged me full price. After I pointed out the error, I was able to get a refund. Although they work fairly quickly here, I don't think I'll be back. They're in such a rush to get customers in and out so mistakes are made. When the attendant moved my car twice, he left the hood up which blocks his view. That's an accident waiting to happen. Came in for a requested smog on vehicle as it was due by DMV and was met with a nice man who very promptly took the vehicle from me. The problem I ran into was when time for payment was due. Online they advertise as the cheapest price in Riverside at $39.95, but the man tried to charge me an additional $17. He then tried to argue that the online price has to be mentioned at the start of service to be honored. Why? Is the online service substandard then?? I was firm on the business honoring the advertised price, which ultimately he did, but how many other customers were cowed into accepting the higher price with this type of attitude? read more

Go anywhere but here to get your car smogged! Don't be fooled by the "affordable" rates. They never sent the electronic report to DMV, we waited and waited for our tags to come. Finally went to DMV and waited in person only to be told that they never submitted the electronic report and that it was only good for 90 days. I walked in yesterday 2/12/23 and was quoted $60 for a smog from a nice white guy. I wasn't able to do it because I had just done some repairs and the smog monitors needed more mileage. I come back 24hrs later and the price went up $10 from some middle eastern calling me his "buddy". I was upset but not as much as when a nice lady came in after me and asked me if I was using a coupon bc they quoted her like me. Lucky for her they honored her $50 smog coupon and I got screwed because it was already smogged by the time this happened and I put 2 and 2 together. This place is a joke. Went in recently to get a smog check and was told it would be a certain fee. I figured like every other shop they would work with me until it passed but apparently here they charge 40$ extra for labor ontop of the original fee. The machine stated the catalyst wasn't ready and they still pushed it through and it showed the vehicle didn't pass. I spoke with the owner and he said for the original fee he would work with me til it got done and then later changed his mind when I showed up. My family takes about 6/7 different vehicles there and we'll make sure to take our business elsewhere. read more

As a parent one of the things you do not look forward to is buying your teen a car. So many worries added to the already constant worries that one already has for their child. Add in a vehicle and it's over. Discount smog made it one less worry by hooking me up with a Smog check so my boy could be off and driving in his new (used) wheels.
