When I needed a last minute haircut the weekend before Christmas, I remembered and asked her where she went. I called and they were able to squeeze me in last minute. The salon is small and features tropical decor. It is very pleasant, and as the previous reviewer mentioned, has a "Steel Magnolias" feel to it. My stylist was friendly, listened well, and gave great suggestions. She clarified things well before hacking away with the scissors. It was definitely the happiest I've been with a cut in awhile. They use some new product lines I am unfamiliar with, but they smelled AMAZING. Overall, I'd say this is a great place to go, especially to make major changes. The price isn't as high as many salons but still high enough that I won't be able to return each time I get a trim; I will probably come back every few visits.

I see Jesika when I go and she is fabulous - talented, professional and personable. I'm always thrilled with my highlighted and cut hair when I leave. What I like about the Park Salon and Barber is that it is casual but nice, family friendly and easy going. All of the staff I have encountered have been helpful and friendly. I told him that I wanted long hair but it just doesn't seem to grow. I had always been told by other stylist that your hair only gets so long. You have to cut it to keep it healthy. Rodney said you can have your hair as long as you want. He styled my hair without cutting too much off and used excellent quality products. In a short time my hair was longer than it had been since I was a child and just as healthy!!! He is a master at color. I am always happy with it.
