ZERO stars for Pineview Rehab. My uncle with dementia recently stayed there and was STARVED to…read moredeath, literally. He was left a tray of food, no assistance( which he required to eat). Clearly not bathed. Clothes in a ball on his wheelchair. Only out of bed when family were there. Denied to have food or coffee( stone cold) to be heated. Zero answers to call bells. I witnessed my Uncle push the call bell to be taken to bathroom to poop, I finally went to the nurses' station to which I was told that he will just poop his pants. I took him myself...and he went. Dentures were STUCK in his mouth everytime I went there...never cleaned( No denture tabs ever used except by me). He died 9 days after spending 2 weeks there. SHAME on this place. Our elderly population need and deserve better( particularly the demented). I tried to have him moved..was told it would be against med advice and medicare would not pay. Disgusted and saddened. Zero response when higher ups were called. LOOK ELSEWHERE
