We noticed this place while running errands in Kernersville and decided to check it out on an available evening, which happened to be the following Wednesday night. We found parking in the side lot next door and there is another in the building over from it, as well as some street parking. Overall, my first impression of the open space was impressive. There is various eclectic seating, including chairs with tables, sofas scattered around, and bar seating. Two televisions were playing some games, but I came here for family time and cocktails. I started with the Lavender Moon, and it was pretty good. After that, I decided to get an Old Fashioned that the bartender, Hayden (hopefully the correct name and spelling), asked if I wanted it smoked. Since I have had smoked bourbon drinks before, I knew what she was talking about and said yes. The drink itself was good, and the cherry smoke added to the overall flavor, although my son did not agree, I thought it was a decent drink. There were only a few people there that night, which could be because it was mid-week. I also talked to the bartender about the two recent Yelp reviews that I did not agree with. I said that if you only come to Yelp to post a negative review, then you miss the point of Yelping. It is to post the good, bad, and sometimes ugly. Social Habit, to me, was the good part of that statement. Those types of reviews from Yelpers you only do a hit-and-run negative review should be dismissed as not valid, but that is my opinion.

Very neat cocktail lounge in Kearnersville. Inside had comfortable colorful couches and cool art on the walls. It looked relaxing and a fun place to hang out. I ordered the k-vegas mule, it came in that cold copper mug and the bartender did a great job. After that I ordered a Carolina mojito. A little on the sweet side for me. My son watches a lot of YouTube cocktail shows and felt from watching Hayden, that she was doing a great job. There were $6 well drink specials to choose from, which is a good deal compared to what other lounges or restaurants charge for a good quality cocktail. I didn't see well drinks on the menu though, you have to ask for it.

Craft cocktails in a local Kernersville space. The Social Habit just opened under the same ownership of Folly's Draft and Snack. The space is dimly lit and filled with locals chatting the night away. There is a cocktail menu that includes both original creations and the classics. I went with the King's Trust. My drink was made with four roses burbon, lemon juice, Demi syrup, egg white, and muddled strawberry. I loved the froth of the egg white with the strong strawberry flavor. Definitely a craft cocktail! This space would be fantastic for a date or a night out to catch up with friends. The vibe is slightly more upscale, but not excessively so. Our drinks were fairly expensive, but that's to be expected. Pay for quality and you won't be disappointed!

Social Habit is a place that Kernersville has been needing. Open during the week until 11PM and weekends 2AM. The drinks... delicious. The atmosphere... pristine. The bartender was very knowledgeable and professional as well. They told me they are planning on having live music as well soon. Have to come back and check on that!

Social habit has only been open a few weeks so we decided to check it out. It was busy for an early Friday evening. It's very cute inside with multiple couches for cosy intimate seating along with quite a few high top tables and bar seating. They do not have food, but there were multiple food trucks along main Street. The bartenders were friendly and it was nice to just drive down the street for a cocktail. They have their signature cocktails but I opted for a Tennessee tea. The bathrooms were spacious and very clean. They also have a golf game in the back going towards the restroom. Very nice spot to grab a cocktail in Kernersville.

It's in that same TGI Friday's/Ruby Tuesday/Applebees tier, yet its full parking lot suggests brisk business. The location - it sits on a busy stretch of 66 - may explain some of that though Sixty Six isn't without other virtues. Spacious and well-staffed, Sixty Six isn't the kind of place where you'll have to wait long to find a table or receive food. It's dark and a bit noisy but not headache-inducingly loud. The menu is decently large, boasting everything from apps and wings to burgers and sandwiches to Tex Mex and pizza. There aren't any real surprises, but there's enough variety to accommodate most diets. For our lunchtime visit, my wife and I split a fried pickles app followed by a jalapeno burger (with sweet potato fries) and a Nashville chicken sandwich (with chips), respectively. Admittedly, the fried pickles didn't make for a very attractive-looking plate. Instead of golden brown pickle chips, there were thicker, lightly battered slices. However, they tasted just fine and paired well with a zesty dipping sauce. Speaking of zesty sauces, the chicken sandwich had it aplenty, and it made for a satisfyingly messy bite. The chips were homemade and rated above average. Unfortunately, Sixty Six overcooks its meats. Under all the sauce, the chicken itself was a bit dry. My wife ordered her burger medium well and received it well beyond well done. As with the chicken, it was still flavorful despite the doneness issues. On food alone, Sixty Six isn't a strong draw, but factor convenience and versatility into the mix, and it becomes a solid lunch option.

This place was not empty but not busy either, which had me a little confused. I was also confused at the overall rating, based on my experience. First, I'll get the negative out of the way: the AC was busted, but while it was warm in there it wasn't unbearable. The AC in the men's bathroom was working though. The service was friendly and not too slow. The restaurant otherwise was clean and pleasant aesthetic, with plenty of TV's throughout to check out sports ball. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is for the food. I got the Carolina burger and it was really enjoyable! The patty was cooked and seasoned nicely, and they added a nice portion of toppings, from the slaw to the delicious chili, and the fries were crispy and salty. Great bun on the burger too topped off an excellent meal. Only caveat there is I ordered potato salad and not fries, but I wasn't too upset with what I got. The server offered to swap out my fries for potato salad, which I declined (really, she should've just brought the potato salad in addition, but it's okay). I would come back, especially if they fix the air.

The menu is being updated but it seems they focus on doing a few things great instead of dabbling in a multitude of dishes. It was late so it wasn't very crowded. It would be a great place to watch a game and grab drinks. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. She made certain we were well taken care of. My burger was really good and my fries we nice and hot! My dessert was ok they only offer the brownie with ice cream so I was expecting it to be spectacular but it was just regular, I was also tired so that could have attributed to my underwhelmed dessert experience. Overall I would go back for the southern hospitality and a great burger.

They have games, pool tables, darts, basketball, arcade machines, outdoor seating, and a welcoming setup that makes it easy to hang out for a while. The staff was very friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Our total wait time from sitting down to receiving food was about 21 minutes, which felt reasonable considering drinks and appetizers came out first. The deep fried crab balls were delicious, and the fries were cooked perfectly. For the wings, we tried multiple flavors including Atomic Buffalo, Sweet Chili, Lemon Pepper, Teriyaki, and Jerk. The cook on the wings was excellent -- crispy without being dry. Some flavors stood out more than others depending on personal preference, but the Sweet Chili and Teriyaki were favorites for our table. The ranch was also really good, which definitely matters with wings. Overall, the atmosphere, service, and food made this a fun experience and we'd return again.

We arrived with only 2 other cars in the parking lot, which made us question if they were even open...as it turn out they were, but my wife, and I were the only patrons. We walked in to an unlit foyer, saw some light on in the bar area, so poked our heads in to ask if they were open. The bartender welcomed us and assured us they were, and invited us to seat ourselves. We grabbed seats at a high top, and she brought over the menus and took our drink orders. First thing I noticed was the table tops were not flat, they were wavy and made it very easy to spill your drink, so beware, and be careful where you put your drink down. The menu was pretty standard bar food, burgers, sandwiches, wings and other fried items. I decided to try their build your own burger, an 8oz patty with choice of cheese and toppings. Only side options were fries or hot chips. Food was quick to come out, but again, we were the only people there. The burger was OK, although just a frozen patty, they grilled up, the fries were good, but the portion felt a little small. Overall it was okay, perhaps they're still trying to get thing figured out. The bartender was friendly though. I didn't see a bar menu, but from what I could see they had a fully stocked bar. As we left, we poked our head around to the other side of the building to find a golf simulator, some billiards tables and a few arcade games. Lots of tvs every where though, probably a good place to catch a game.

Great casual atmosphere, the staff have really come into their own, and the food is simple but has little touches that often make it a small cut above most other sports bar type places around. My favorite things to order are the smashburgers, chicken philly (almost as good as the one at Old Town, a restaurant also belonging to this same owner), and now the fish and chips. I decided to get those last night, and the fish was two good size thick cod filets, fried and breaded perfectly. The fish was flaky and tender, the remoulade it came with really elevated it, I'm glad it was not plain tartar sauce (gross). The appetizer favorite here is the pulled pork nachos for me, otherwise, we usually just get meals. If I had one small complaint, it's that the tea is usually brewed pretty weak. Steep it a little longer, and you've got me fully hooked.

We loved their homemade dressings. Service: Our server was great! Attentive, kind, and offered to let us taste test. She also was helpful in her descriptions and recommendations. However, our experience fell short upon arrival. The hostess said they don't have a table for 5 but we could add a chair to a 4 top. And when I said that's not a comfortable or reasonable set up for 5 people and asked if we could push two tables together, she seemed annoyed. Who thinks it's acceptable for a party of 5 to sit someone at the corner point of a 4 top table when there are open tables all around? Management advice: If this is truly your approach, I'd recommend you rethink that logic. This is basic hospitality.

I arrived a very full house of families dining and sports fans enjoying food, drink and drink while watching the game in the bar area. I figured I'd have a chance to grab a beer while I waited for the food to be ready, but was pleasantly surprised to find it was already done. After some debate, I decided to try something different on this visit, and got the Hawaiian Chicken Grill sandwich with a side of a Mac & cheese. Getting home, I opened the to go container to find a massive slab of chicken, sticking out both sides of the bun, not surprising based on my past varieties of chicken sandwiches from Rixster Grill! The sandwich was delicious, marinated in teriyaki and super juicy, topped with cheese and a grilled pineapple ring. It really hit the spot, and definitely filled me up.
