Entire staff here is super friendly and very helpful. I had to deal with my stupid bank taking almost 6 months to send me my title (moved from Nevada to here and it's a whole mess of title holding state vs non title holding state) Each employee that helped me with out of state vehicle transfers took 30 minutes or less from start to finish with transferring title and handing me plates.

So- off I went to presumedly spend hours & hours waiting. Nope. There was a fantastic worker who was keeping everything/everyone in order. She made sure we had our paperwork in order so we weren't wasting our (and their) time but not having what we needed. Further, if people were there for 3 specific "regular" things & had their stuff in order, then those were put in a rapid line. It really kept everything going. I was beyond shocked that my entire visit was only about an hour. Now, do I look forward to renewing next year? Nope. But, I will be going to this branch!

I went out of my way to explain exactly what I needed. She told me it had to be inspected first by the sherriff. I took it to the sherriff location and he said it had to be titled before he could inspect it. He was upset at me because I was doing what I was told. This location is mismanaged and is in dire need of qualified management. If Bobbie Holsclaw can't manage the location better than this, it's time to vote her out of office.

So, it really surprises me when I read some of the negative reviews. The employees have been very friendly, explained any relevant information in a clear and concise manner, and provided all necessary information (when items were missing, etc.) to quickly close gaps on what I needed to get accomplished. They have always been incredibly patient and often offer smiles. Some visits have been busier with customers than others. Regardless how busy they've been, it's always been obvious that the employees work diligently and as quickly as possible to meet the customers' needs and to move onto the next. The visits and wait times have never been excessively long. They provide 5 stations to take exams. The main waiting area has plenty of seating. There are two places where photos are taken - maybe one for driver's license and the other for state ids. There are approximately 6-7 employees to help with all the BMV needs. The parking is not bad. The parking lot isn't huge, but I believe is adequately sized for them. It sort of sits on a hill, so it can be a little awkward maneuvering in / out of spaces.

I was interested in updating my review based on the ease in arranging for an absentee ballot to vote in the upcoming election since I will be out of town on the early voting days and on Election Day. My husband and I both separately filled out our request for an Absentee Ballott and submitted it online. Three days later we received our ballots in the mail. Before we had a chance to fill in our ballots we received an email message that one local item was worded incorrectly and that a new ballot would be sent out right away. The replacement ballott was received promptly. We have now filled out our ballots and they will be dropped off in the Clerk's Office indoor drop box tomorrow. Thanks for offering a variety of ways to assure each citizen can cast their vote.
