Additionally, I quickly learned it was a convenient place for dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up; right off I-91 North exit 6, and back on I-91 South to where I was living in City Point. Dry cleaning isn't done on premises, but if you're ok with that they do a fine job. Whoever does the dry cleaning does well with the basics and clothes are clean and pressed inside plastic coverings until you get them. I never used the washers there, but the place seemed clean and pleasant overall.

Then...you can finally use the washers. Then... when you get to the dryers, you use the card again. The first laundry machine took my money off the card but failed to turn on. The attendant fixed it. But then the beverage machine ate more of my money. I was so frustrated at that point, I didn't even ask for the money back. Now, I'm stuck with this stupid card with a $12 balance that I can only use... you got it... at this laundry mat. If this process wasn't so convoluted I might actually recommend this place.

Showed me where to get a card and put money on it, showed me which machine to use by how much clothes I had. I used the 3 load machine which was 5.25. Detergent is free with your wash (if you happen to not have your own) and so is your drying. The wash takes no more than 25 minutes and the drying is 25 minutes as well. 25 minutes might not feel like enough time to dry clothes but it definitely does, so don't pay for extra dry time unless it's necessary. This is place is bright, clean, and well maintained. I tell everyone that goes to a laundromat to come here. And I will definitely be back for all my laundry needs.

Never had to iron them. When I brought this to the attention of the clerk, she puts her hands on her hips and starts rolling her eyes at me giving me major attitude. She gets the owner on the phone. He tells me that when they fold the clothes, they "get wrinkled" and what I'm saying makes "no sense" I said how come when I dry and fold these same pants at home, they don't get wrinkled? She helped us choose which machine would work best and offered to swap the blankets from the washer and dryer (of course we gave her the quarters!) and she told me she would call when they were were done. The people making you pay rip off prices to do laundry are too lazy and cheap to have staff present. One time I was using the dryer 15 minutes before closing time (which constantly changes to earlier hours) and the employee told me she wanted to go home and close. I still had 15 minutes before the place was supposed to close. The no bathrooms for customer is HUGE. No respect for the customers they are ripping off.

The rude attendant asked me if the clothes were clean or dirty I said clean. He was like you can't put the bag on the table. I said well I need to put them in the dryer. He was like well just put them right into the dryer. I didn't want to have to bend all the way down to the floor to take the clothes from the bag in order to put them into the dryer hence why I put the bag on the table. I stood there for a minute because I was shocked at how rude he was being. Because I hadn't move the bag yet he came over snatches my bag off of the table and says well you can put it in here as he puts my bag in one of the rolly baskets. He was like people's clean clothes go on the table. Instead of being rude, nasty and snatching my bag he could've simply just said can you put your bag in the basket please as peoples fold their clean clothes on the table. Judging from the comments it seems like he needs to learn how to talk to people. Also I am black, I didn't think his nastiest was due to racism at first but right after he snapped at me he talked to other customers (who were white) and was so nice and pleasant to them. Seeing from the comments that he's been nasty to other people of color maybe he is racist or maybe he just has a nasty attitude in general. This place is right down the street from me. Because of my experience I will never go this place again no matter how convenient it is. Good thing my dryer is working now, if I have to go a laundromat ever again I'd rather go to the extra distance and go the bpt ave one or go to one in Derby or Ansonia.
