Pharmacy is a mess with few people understand how to find faxed or refill Rxs or understanding the…read morecode for an authorized Rx by the insurance company. Their app is often wrong with the actual status of the progression through a Tx received through the steps to being filled. Their app telephone wait times are long and it's not uncommon to be hung up on without time to say anything- they pick up and hang up immediately or you're on hold and get disconnected and they sigh and puff when you ask to please check on an RX that's status on the app goes back and forth or you want to make sure your Rxs are filled ( many times they will say filled in the app or by text but they are not when you arrive. And they don't all wets lab coats with names- even the pharmacists don't show their badges clearly and several times the staff have been in sweats with stains on them and no id in sight- heck you or I could walk behind the counter and no one would know that we don't belong there. Walgreens uses a pharmacy wide computer system so unless you rarely need medication and it's a common antibiotic I would choose a different location and get a consult first with the head pharmacist for that store.

I don't usually leave reviews but this one felt necessary. There was a guy named Eddie working behind the food counter and the way he handled everything stood out immediately. His delightful greeting as I approached to order caught my attention. He was moving with purpose, staying on top of orders, keeping things clean, and still making time to acknowledge every customer that walked up. You could tell he actually takes pride in what he's doing. What impressed me most was how he balanced speed with quality. A lot of places rush you through but he made sure everything was done right without making it feel slow. He kept a positive attitude the entire time, even with multiple people waiting and didn't miss a beat. It's rare to see that level of consistency and professionalism, especially during busy hours. Employees like that are the reason people come back. I know a review isn't much but I hope this helps that young man. It was truly a pleasure

When stopping in at this store, we honestly did not expect super fresh food considering it was late night. The food was fresh! We were met with the most amazing warm welcome and service. Team members seemed friendly, happy and enthusiastic. Genuinely cared how our night was going, asked us how our trip was and guaranteed the food was fresh. The store was well stocked. The music playing in the store was a good vibe. They actually have self- check out at this location which I prefer. The only draw back to this location is the fact that there is no car wash. I waited in the drive thru for approximately 15 minutes with no response from staff. I went in to the store and there was only one customer in front of me. Third visit to the pharmacy in a week because the prescription was not ready. I called the pharmacy three days ago but when I arrived at the pharmacy was instructed that I needed to wait about 45 minutes because the prescription wasn't ready. Make it make sense. Just note, this is a legit country store, offering random canned items, dried goods, toys, collectibles, drinks, snacks, and even hot food. We saw a patron come in, looking for charcoal, and there was a bag hiding behind the front door! We stopped by, as we had heard about Mr. Jay's famous burgers - we ordered one to share, open to any toppings he recommended - ours came with fresh Romaine lettuce, sliced onions, a hot pepper spread, sliced fresh jalapenos, cheese, and mayo, all nestled in a locally baked bread. This was a simple, but a tasty burger! The freshly-ground beef is picked up every morning, from the slaughterhouse that is across the street; I don't really want to think about that all too much, but just know that what you're getting is some fresh proteins! Mr. Jay also grows his own peppers and such, so you'll taste the freshness! There are a few comfortable chairs around the store, so you can definitely just sit and enjoy your food, or take it to go - we opted to dine-in, and we almost fell asleep since we were that cozy and relaxed!
