    Cold cut
    Jannet C.

First time here and I really liked the cold cut bánh mì. It was super flavorful and packed with meat, pickled radish, cilantro, and jalapeños. Only thing is I wish the bread was a bit crispier and lighter--it was more on the chewy side. Service at the counter was quick and friendly. There's no real seating, but I grabbed a spot on the bench and ate there. They also have Vietnamese coffee and summer rolls, which I'd definitely try next time.

Simply delicious. There's not a lot of bell and whistle for the banh mi but it's delicious. The price is pretty reasonable and it came out pretty quick. I hear they bake their own baguette everyday. Ill definitely comeback more often.

This place is GOOD! A great bahn mi and summer roll establishment. My friend and I split a grilled pork bahn mi and a beef bahn mi and we loved both of them! Everything was made to order, very fresh, and fast! There are a few tables outside to eat too, which is great!

Accepts cash and credit card. Tons of free parking in front of restaurant. We came here after driving past there a few times. We ordered their bahi mi and their Vietnamese latte. The Vietnamese latte was very strong which I like. Never had a Vietnamese latte before. They steam heat the condense milk which is a first for me. The drink was delicious. Definitely one of the more stronger coffees I had. The grilled chicken bahi mi sandwich was made fresh. The bread was nice and chewy. Had a little crunch on the outside, The staff here were very friendly. Will definitely come back in the future. Prices are reasonable and there is a small seating if you want to eat inside. For my yelpers, this place is a must try!

Tried Saigon Blvd Bánh Mì in Catonsville for the first time and ordered the grilled pork bánh mì. This was my first time having that kind of sandwich, and it ended up being one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The pork was really well seasoned and flavorful, the vegetables tasted fresh and crisp, and the bread was perfect, soft inside with a light, flaky crust on the outside. Delivery was quick too, which made the whole experience even better.

Good option for lunch!! Saigon Blvd Banh Mi has a wonderful lunch deal Monday thru Friday from 12 PM to 2 PM. The special is 1 banh mi and choice of a drink from their menu for $13.50. They have various options for banh mi including cold meat options, grilled meat options, and veggie option. For my banh mi, I got the combination banh mi. The meat to bread ratio was good and I liked that the put the veggies to the side. Service was fast and I was able to get my meal pretty quickly. There is no seating inside but a few tables outside if you want to sit and eat. Else, it's packed to go anyways making it a nice spot for take out.

I finally made it to this banh mi spot in Catonsville. I have been recommended it by a few friends and I decided to stop by as I was in the area to pick up dinner. It's definitely past casual and this is a place that reward you if you have cash on you, but they charge a dollar service fee, which is really nothing and the staff here was so so so friendly! I got their pork banh mi, and I asked for extra pickles and the jalapeños -- note to the people who want to try this place the jalapeños because it had seeds in it, was so spicy and you know you always get a random very spicy one so just FYI. The spring rolls left a little bit to be desired, but that peanut sauce had accompanied it was absolutely delicious. The family breaks their bread here fresh daily, and the Vietnamese French baguette is to die for I could eat loaves and loaves of this bread. If you're ever near Catonsville, I would definitely stop here. They do close a little early around seven or eight so it's not super easy for summer dinners but definitely easy in the winter when the sunsets early.

Super solid bahn mi spot in the area. Perfect spot for lunch in the busy area here. Had the Vietnamese iced coffee- sweet and strong! For lunch I had the roast pork and special bun mi. It was everything you want- good amount of meat, soft and crunchy bread, amazing flavor- all for an amazing price. Of note not a lot of seating here, so be prepared to eat in car or take it to gWould recommend!

Very good and flavorful. They stuffed the banh mi with a lot of meats. Did not skimp. Bread was crispy.

My first time having Banh Mi! This was a great place to have my first one. It's mainly a take out place with some inside standing bar against the windows along with a few outdoor picnic tables. The staff were really friendly here. My friend and I both ordered their grilled chicken Banh Mi with the veggies inside. Apparently they make their own bread in house which is so cool! So you know their bread is nice and fresh. I also got their Coconut Milk Matcha. It was very refreshing and not too sweet. Our sandwiches were ready shortly and they were huge. All the veggies tasted very fresh and the Banh mi sauce was great in the sandwich. It was a very filling but great meal. Can't believe I haven't had Banh Mi's before but will def be getting more in the future!

Quick service with a smile and totally fresh and delicious! Definitely recommend - our sandwiches we're out in minutes and the veggies were crunchy and crisp. Got the Combination and the Roast Pork - will be back to try other options!

I have found my new go to banh mi spot in Ellicott City! Saigon Blvd is dishing out fresh, flavorful baguettes of all kinds, alongside other Vietnamese small plates. I ordered delivery on a Sunday evening, which was quick and error free. I started with the veggie summer rolls, which the perfect start to the meal. Clearly freshly rolled with ample but not overstuffed filling. Pro tip: order a side of peanut sauce as it does not automatically accompany. Moving on to the veggie baguette--wow. That crunchy exterior meets pillowy soft, slightly sweet interior makes for a 5 star baguette to carry a flavorful, texturally diverse filling. The tofu is thinly cut, pairing nicely with the julienned pickled veggies and fresh coriander. Already looking forward to my next order, Saigon Blvd team!

Really enjoyed their Vietnamese coffee/latte and the salted latte was also really good. I liked the salted one because it balanced out the sweetness. Banh mi was so good! Now we don't have to drive all the way to Eden Center. Pricier than Eden Center but I think it's worth it. Buy 7 get one free. CC does have an added 2.5% fee. Husband is Vietnamese and he liked the original. I liked the grilled pork - comes with pate and the meat was very flavorful. The bread is good and everything tasted very fresh. Their pate is a bit chunkier but I enjoyed it. The che dessert was also really good and not too sweet. They did not skimp on the mung bean which I love.

I was in the neighborhood so I found and placed the order online. Got there a little after the time I specified and my order was already prepared and ready. And then I had another 30 minute drive home. So it was most likely about an hour after it was prepared that I got to try it First thing, it was still warm. I only ordered the cheese fries and the cheesesteak. As you can tell the fries were a little limp from the moisture and time. The sub roll was also soggy because of the same reason. But I won't judge them on those qualities because it is more on me and my situation than their part. They did their job. The only thing I will comment is the taste, which is all on them. The cheese fries were solid. It definitely would have been better eaten fresh but it was still very good. The cheesesteak on the other hand, was delicious. Both my son and I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of it. Yes it was soggy but it did not affect the flavor! I ordered some peppers but wish they had options for hots and different types of hot peppers they offer in Philadelphia. But otherwise, the cheesesteak was great. Now if they can offer hoagies, that would be awesome.

Their house-roasted porchetta used a light layer of hot giardiniera, (marinated cauliflower, carrots, bell peppers, celery and Calabrian chili peppers), and it wasn't super-spicy. Perfect for me! They used "shaved Auricchio provolone", which happily had more flavor than average american provolone, and it melted enough to make a soft stretchy layer as a good replacement for more traditional stracciatella cheese. The star of the sandwich, the porchetta, was tender, juicy but not wet, very nicely flavored with tiny touch of its own peppery heat. The ciabatta had a nice chew, not crispy, not too soft. A very nice sandwich! The flavors could have been a bit more bold, and i wanted just a little more crisp on the pork. The whole sandwich was very pleasing. The "classic Italian" was very generously overstuffed with quality cold cuts: bright mortadella and capicola, thin tender prosciutto, flavorful provolone and romano. A good balance of lettuce, tomato, and red onion, lightly flavored with their savory herbed house vinegar & oil, and a light sprinkling of bright flavorful not-too-spicy crushed cherry peppers. Of course on their great fresh Italian bread. It was very tasty and satisfying. For the six-year-old we got a simple salami and mayo. It sounds ordinary, but it was a very flavorful super-thin salami and that perfect Italian bread. I was lucky the six-year-old saved me a taste :-) With a full little grocery store, we also added Berger cookies and several types of Italian cookies. The amaretto ones were especially light and well flavored. They melt in your mouth! Scittino's has a whole menu of sandwiches and pastas and chicken and sweets and salads, a nice selection of Italian soft drinks, and a full deli. We often get their giant 20-inch New York thin crust pizza! Tasty with a crispy-bottom chewy thin crust. This is a nice little corner neighborhood restaurant with a few tables and enough parking here and there. They make you feel welcome, and the food is good :-)

I waited in line with Child #1 and Child #2 to make our order and fortunately, a staffer saw us looking for a table and waved us over to an area that they were cleaning as another party of three stood up. It's worth noting that while there are a few small 2-top and 4-top tables, most of the space is jam-packed where your table will butt right up against a different party. It adds a bit to the convivial experience, but it does also mean a larger group may have to split up. Got some brunch, and Child #2 got a kids' meal of pancakes with bacon. Seemed pretty standard. I love a good plate of chicken and waffles so I sprang for that. The chicken was decently seasoned but the waffles were underwhelming. Child #1 got The berry cheesecake french toast and loved it. I tasted a bite and it was not bad. There is an area with condiments that customers can just grab (there is no table-side service, so this makes sense), including a place to grab your own water. Child #1 ordered an orange juice, which we both tasted and it was definitely fermented (unpleasant). When I brought it up to the staff behind the counter, it was "oh, that's too bad" with no offer to remedy it. We bought a bottled one from their fridge, which was better. I got a mango peach lemonade, which was sweet but otherwise very nice. Child #2's meal came with a juice box. We were meeting up with my wife just a few minutes later, so I ordered her an iced coffee and a cubano sandwich. To the barista's credit, they said "hey, just wave me down when you're about finished eating and I'll make it fresh for you to go." Nice. The cubano was okay - it came on what seemed like white bread, rather than a sturdier ciabatta or sub roll that can be pressed (like a cubano normally is) so my wife found it to be okay at best. Overall, the experience didn't blow me away, but there were some decent items and clearly folks in the know come here often so maybe we just had a down day. If I come back, I think I'll try any of the Korean fusion dishes (it is in Ellicott City, after all).
