Love this sweet shop that combines so many things I love: vintage clothes, records, unique home goods and spiritual items. What's better??

The bf also got a kick out of it since he worked as a theater manager for years and loves checking out different theaters. The inside of the store was pretty similar to other Barnes and Nobles, maybe a bit smaller. Good amount of book merch and themed table sections, but I think the lighting could have been a bit brighter. They were running some great deals before new years so I picked up a few new books. I have noticed that sometimes Barnes and Noble doesn't pick up the discounts listed on the stickers on the front covers of books, so I pay extra attention when those are rung up. The guy at the register was super nice and corrected it, no problem!

Loved how this old movie theater was repurposed into a bookstore/Barnes and Noble. The interior has…read morethe old remnants of the theater, pretty evident through the decor running along the ceiling. Super cool! And of course, the Bookstar sign out front giving it old theater vibes. Selection was similar to what other B&N have. Their record section was cute, displayed in the front window. The store was well organized, easy to navigate, and had all the featured table displays. I was searching for The Knight and the Moth by Rachel Gillig when I went, but they were out of stock. The employee who helped me offered to call another store in the area, which was really nice of her! I ended up getting it at the Mission Valley location. Overall worth a visit, if only to take pictures of the cool sign. Otherwise, it's like any other Barnes & Noble.

I haven't been here since the new ownership and I've alway quite loved this place. I think I've…read moredecided that I may actually love it a little more now! The team is so delightful, uplifting and the place is a total vibe. The owners engaged with each person on some level or another and were super friendly (not the fake kind). They knew so much about plants, and as a plant girlie myself, I was diggin' it. They are all about community and care about what they put out to sell. Honest Thrift has options for everyone. Trinkets, clothes, shoes, plants, music, art etc. The pricing is affordable and fair, and their plant selection is beautiful and properly priced for a boutique style premium selection of plants of very well maintained and cared for. Heck, what you save on buying clothes for $4, splurge on your plant. If I didn't have nearly 100 plants in my own house and own my own plant business, I'd get mine from here. Do know, I'll buy cutesy things for my home and gifts for others.

I stopped by this place as one of two places to drop off my unneeded clothes for donation, as I had…read moresought out alternatives that weren't Goodwill, given how utterly wasteful and awful the company truly is. Besides the fact that parking is a frank issue in this location, what with currently unenforceable requirements to pay for parking (either managed by the private lot or by the City), assuming this is also meant for people who are just stopping by to drop something off, this location is small but very quaint. It is very prone to being very crowded. However, the décor is a worthy sight for sore eyes: it truly is a lovely setup they have. I encountered a couple of lovely women who appeared to be running the shop, and inquired about how much clothing they're willing to take. It seems that they can only take a heavily limited amount of such, and I was able to drop off a kitchen trash bag's worth of clothes. I didn't complain, because I understand (at least mostly, since I fully realised and acknowledged it shortly after I left) the limited capacity they have to work with. The entire transaction was painless and easy. I do recommend stopping here for the reasons above, and to be reasonably wary of the environment you will be getting yourself into. I plan on coming here again if I ever have to donate anything in particular.

The place is open and spacious which consists of various thrift shops showcasing their vintage items on a few racks. I love the concept of the thrift shop collective which allows you to shop at various stores! The clothes were clean, without stains, and were in excellent condition. Some of the pieces were basically like new! I found a gem, which was a white lace blazer that is perfect for the spring and summer. It was a great price! They also have a Photo Booth and a clean bathroom! I know some thrift shops that don't even have a bathroom and this one was cute with multiple stalls. I'm definitely coming back when I'm in Little Italy and will be bringing my daughter for some vintage finds.

There's lots of diff items for sale and clothes to explore on one side of the building. On the other side, they do offer plentiful fitting rooms, which is much appreciated. For this trip however, I didn't get a chance to check through much due to limited time, but I did get a chance to see what the hype was about with their vintage photobooth section. Currently they have 3 vintage photobooths installed (1 color and 2 in black & white). The line gets filled up quickly, but it also doesn't take too long to wait in (expect about a 10-15 minute wait). Keep in mind, the pics do happen quickly once you pay for it in the booth (it's through tap to pay/Apple Pay). As for the parking situation: it's Little Italy, so expect to circle around a few times or you could also just pay the fare and park/walk from a nearby parking garage. Will definitely be back!
