However incurred a minor issue at no fault to the store, inner sleeves were missing, this was a known issue from the record producer on this particular release, worked with Jules at Vinyl Junkies and she worked diligently with their supplier to make things right, took a bit but she got it done and shipped them right away free of charge and in perfect condition.. This is a small and funky vinyl shop with a fair amount of used CDs. They also have old cassette tapes, too, if you are a weirdo and a masochist. There are three rooms to explore and a little courtyard in between them all. I have to believe this space was a coffee house or something like that in a different life. The vinyl record collection is the emphasis, as it should be, and it is well-organized. There is some organization to some of the CDs but many of them are just stacked here and there. That is ok. If you are a musical dinosaur like some of us, some of the fun is in the hunt itself. The only drag is parking. Street parking is your only option and it is rough. The good news is there are some cool other shops in this area to explore, like books, beer, food, etc. Well worth a visit for music fans.

The place is small. Records are broken down to genre. He may not have the best selection but you may find a gem or two. He also sells video games and accessories. The owner approached my friends and I about what he had in store and all his music interest. Off top super friendly!! He is very knowledgeable on different genres. And the door was open. So naturally, my girlfriend and I walk in, with it being 10:38. We were just looking around at the decor and the records and she told us that they were closed and that they do that as an "iq test". Really weird vibes, shame that they have really cool stuff too. I took a picture of a specific section that I was thinking about coming back to because I had other places to be and she rudely commented "hope you enjoyed your pictures." Bought a bag of their beans and it came with a free cup of drip or iced from that same bean. After browsing their selection of beans, I couldn't quite find the type of profile I like but there were a variety of profiles. I bought a bag for a gift for someone who might appreciate their shop style and profile. At the time of my visit there were no decaf beans available. Took advantage of taking the free iced coffee and was surprise of my sipping acceptwnc! RAW POWER - their mainstay coffee which has a profile of chocolate and orange. I had this as an iced coffee - straight up black with no added anything and I thought I'd hate it without anything but I enjoyed the ice coffee as black and plain. From here I could really taste the bean profile very clearly and indeed could find the chocolate and the orange, more the orange than the chocolate. I am not into acidity or tart when I take my lattes but I don't mind that orange flavor when I take an iced coffee. It was an inquiring taste! I'd like to come back and try their decaf beans with with a flavored latte or an iced coffee plain as possible.

They are always perfect. I once got a teddy pendergrass album for $10 and will forever be thankful for that find! The owner is knowledgeable & literally knows what his buyers will like. Every time I come in, he has stuff on hold for his regulars and reaches out to them to come by and get the tape or vinyl. He's the real deal. Their cassette collection leans towards the 90s and 2000s, which I'm not complaining. I thought the price point would be expensive for these vintage finds, but they are so cheap ($5 for The Beach Boys and $9 for Pink Floyd). The dominant genres are alternative and rap. I didn't look too deep into their vinyl records but they got a good mixture of current mainstream to hip hop mainstream - from Daniel Caesar to Vanilla Ice (good stuff). They also have CDs, pins, and vintage shirts. I didn't dig through the CDs and pins, but their curated shirts are pretty top-notch - from Ralp Lauren to 80s Nike (designs look like they were out of MTV during their neon days). The prices are a bit pricey ($30ish). One thing I thought that was very interesting is the bowls made out of discarded vinyl records. It's the coolest thing I have ever seen.
