I started with Dr. Sofia Fokas a few months ago. I was referred to her by a friend. Best thing that has happened to me was finding her, I have a lot of dental issues going on and she has helped me out tremendously, with always a smile on her face. Shes done a great job on my teeth. She has a great staff and a very clean office. Her office hours are great she has evening hours for the working people and will always fit you in. After years of coming to Dr. fokas this last visit was just as great as the rest. I started using her 5 years ago when I was deathly afraid of dentists. The thought of going literally made my stomach turn. From my first visit to the office Dr. Fokas was patient, thorough, and warm. No question was ignored or blown off like dentists I had gone to in the past. Throughout the years going there became enjoyable from Emily's bright smile as soon as you walk in, the assistants that always ask if there's anything they can get you while you wait and of coarse the doctor that makes you always feel like the priority patient in the office. Dr. Fokas is by far the best dentist I have ever worked with, and I've certainly had my share of experiences across the island! She is thorough, efficient, kind, gentle, and always one-step ahead. I love that her front office is super-accommodating if I ever need to run in for an emergency (shout out to Ms. Emily for always reminding me about my appts!) and that she uses to the most up-to-date technology for all of her procedures. I have to give great thanks to Dr. Fokas. She is the most wonderful person I have ever met. I have been going for dental visits to Dr. Fokas for 3 years now. I have never been to a more professional practice. The dental assistants are very friendly and know exactly what they are doing. They all strive very hard to make the patient as comfortable as possible. Even the office manager, Emily, helps me tremendously. Emily is kind and courteous and tries to work with me every time I wish to make an appointment. She even laughs at my corny jokes. Dr. Fokas has helped me tremendously. She has given me an outstanding gift, a wonderful smile. When my teeth were in pain, Dr. Fokas diagnosed the problem and treated me as soon as possible. I could not imagine what I would do without Dr. Fokas treating me. She takes the time to understand me and the needs of my teeth and mouth. She is not there to just get another job done. She puts her heart and soul into her work, and she is very proud to know that she has helped someone. What impressed me the most about Dr. Fokas is that she took the time to listen to me and explain processes and procedures that I would have to undergo. I visited Dr. Fokas for the first time last week for a general exam & cleaning which went absolutely amazing. From the start her staff was overly welcoming, informative, and the whole process and appointment was SO easy. I was taken in so quickly and Dr. Fokas was so kind, gentle, and did such a thorough job. We discussed a lot about my teeth and Dr. Fokas gave me her opinion on what would be the best option for me to fix my front teeth which I have always been so insecure about for years because of damage of two front teeth and unevenness of my smile due to the damaged teeth. Today, I went in for my second visit which was just as good as the first, if not BETTER. In such a quick and easy amount of time, Dr. Fokas evened out my two front teeth and as she explained what she was going to do exactly I looked at her and told her "do what you think is best, I trust you" and just like that there are no words to explain on how truly happy I feel with my smile now - I genuinely cannot stop looking in the mirror. I feel like a whole new person and cannot stop smiling! I have been looking for an answer to my problems for way too long and I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Fokas and her staff who gave me exactly what I was looking for and I truly cannot be happier. Just had one the most pleasant experiences with Sofia Fokas! What a professional! She was so precise, thoroughly examined me and explained every minute of her procedure. Office is immaculate! Had the best cleaning I've ever had on my teeth! I 100% recommend! I also brought my 3 children ages 6,4and 3. My kids were so at ease with Sofia. She was so gentile and precise. Dr. Fokas and her team, Emily, Margaret, everyone there...where should I begin. First of all, for me to put trust in a dentist for my two kids is the biggest thing in the world to me, and both my kids have raved about her for a few years now, so I know I made the right decision there...Dr. Fokas is so professional and caring and absolutely knows her stuff. But I recently had my own long term dental procedure that incurred multiple visits over many months, and Dr. Fokas and her staff not only treated me with the utmost in respect and attentiveness, they delivered a dental experience far beyond any I've had in my entire life. Attention to detail, listening to me and adjusting things along the way to insure I had final results that would last for a very long time...wow, I'm so impressed with the full experience there.
