She insisted on measuring the pants while I was wearing sandals. I told the woman I needed a 34" in seem. Of course the length was wrong when I put on my dress shoes. When I went back to have the hem lowered, the woman insisted I put the pants on, still in my sandals instead of just doing what I asked which was for a 34" inseem.
