They were so friendly, they listened, they were personable, and most importantly we were in and out of there within 15 minutes of pulling in the parking lot. They told us many times that we are welcome to come in whenever we need in between our oil changes for topping of ALL fluids in our vehicle and for tire inflation. They said: "Before a trip, stop in and see us! Free of charge! Or any other time you need fluids or air in your tires! For free!" They even gave my dog a treat after seeing her in the car and their own shop dog was roaming the garage and just sweet as can be. I just love the vibe of this place. I went there to have an unusual noise checked out. I felt that paying him, $90, for his time and effort was a good decision. As it turns out.....NOT a good decision at all! He diagnosed the noise as the flywheel between the engine and transmission needing to be replaced. In addition, he also listed his needed repairs that were unrelated to my concern. They were axles, steering linkage and suspension parts, and an oil change. He gave an estimate of $3,086 for the cited repairs and I just had the oil changed 1 month ago. I was not told that he would be publicizing my vehicle's VIN and the cited repairs online for anyone (including car dealers) with access to Car-fax to see. When you go to trade in your car or truck after Dale Stroebel gives you an estimate, even if he does not do any work on your car, this information will be published! He told me this after the fact, and after I had visited a car dealership. There was no up front disclosure regarding his use of the information that he gleaned by inspecting my car.
