I had the vinyl siding on my house and wood deck cleaned by Softwash Ranger. The results were excellent except for the fact that when the siding in front was cleaned some of the brown tannins from the old wood siding underneath leached out and left yellowish-brown stains on the vinyl. This was not the contractors fault since there was nothing that could have been done to prevent it. If I had the house pressure washed instead of soft washed chances are it would have been worse. After a few days the stains have begun to fade a little and I suspect this will continue. The contractor was very helpful and accommodating in answering all my questions. I would recommend him to anyone who is thinking of cleaning the exterior of their house or deck. The price was comparable to pressure washing. read more

We lived in Bloomfield, NJ and have used Softwash Ranger twice since 2015 with the last washing two weeks ago. We have painted cement fiber Hardieplank on our remodeled home. A vicious power washing is too harsh, so we selected Softwash Ranger. Mario's crew did a wonderful job of cleaning our exterior, porch and railings. We seem to collect an inordinate amount of dust and pollen and the house again looks spanking new. Originally I called Softwash Ranger because we had a stain on our CertainTeed roof that took away from the look of our home. Even the roof manufacturer would not guarantee they could remove the stain but Softwash Ranger did a great job, it looked like new and still does today! Very efficiently run company and the work clean! Making an appointment was easy and they showed when they said they would. The house looked significantly better when they were done. On a side note, while the guys were backing into my driveway, a very young driver tried to squeeze behind their truck almost causing an accident. These guys averted an accident by paying attention to what they were doing. Final note, they were also very reasonable in cost. The crew did an excellent, thorough job. I was impressed that they walked around to get a sense of the project and have a strategy before jumping in. The house's siding and the deck look great; really clean without having gotten beaten up by pounding firehoses. I had an ice dam leaking water into my house. I called Softwash Ranger after hours, spoke with the owner Mario's assistant, and then got a call back from Mario immediately. He came the next morning and completely got rid of the ice dam really quickly. He also put an ice sock there to prevent another ice dam. Very reasonable price and excellent work. Mario did an excellent job on cleaning off all of the years of black soot buildup on the upper half of my chimney. I didn't think he was going to be able to get it clean enough to match the lower half but amazingly he did.
