At the beginning, with the original owner (Mike), they were great. They installed new gutters on our house and even did some follow up work. But later on, they had to came back, to fix a defective part that they had installed. However, without the original company owner on site (Mike), they just replaced it with some "leaders" that turned out to be even worse (they were bent and cut up). I've texted them over 8 times (with no response), I've left 10 phone messages, and I've even called both of their business numbers over 10 times. Their answer: Nothing. They just won't respond. And we never got our "warranted repairs". I've even waited months for their return or their call back, but they've never called back, nor showed up. Now, it's like if, once they put up the gutters and get paid, they won't come back, won't respond or return your calls. They just move on to the next customers (or victims), to give them a bad experience too. In summary, keep away from Mike's Gutters. They are the worst. And like I said, I've known them for over 15 years. So run away, run away fast, and save yourself a gutter dilemma, and a financial headache.

Something was always off and I did not like companies that sent over commissioned salesmen who wanted to be my best friend and then they suddenly don't know me after I sign the contract and pay a deposit. Ron Carlson himself came to the house and the moment he walked up my driveway I had a gut feeling I found my roofing company. The search was over. Ron did not start with all the sales crap and throwing titles and certifications like GAF Master Elite blah blah blah at me that virtually means nothing. He was friendly, polite but no nonsense. He knows his stuff and could back up why I don't need gutter protectors, why I don't need 6 inch gutters, why I don't need useless "gold" warranties pushed by the roofing companies etc. Quotation was presented two days later, no extra 6.8% credit card charge levied, final bill was what I was quoted. Period. The Carlson team installed a new roof, gutters, soffits, leaders, two new attic fans, ridge vent skylights etc. Their team worked diligently, clean and started each day at 7:00 am and finished at 6 pm. Rich came by to make sure all was good and so did Doug (though I did not meet him). Top notch roofers. No gimmicks, no add ons, no big lawyer written contracts to sign and no hassles. Old school - agree to the job, do it and happily pay. A handshake means something with Carlson Brothers. They took 1/3 deposit upfront and did not take the other 2/3 until the job was done and they were gone. In fact, Denise called up two days later and asked if it's ok to go ahead and charge the balance on my credit card. I can't say enough good things about them all. As to price, extremely fair and they don't upsell you on anything. Ok. Enough said. Everyone was professional and knew exactly what to do. Unfortunately there are many contractors out there that will try and do things that aren't really needed but this wasn't the case with Carlson Bros. This company and it's employees were great! We arrived home believing they would be back to finish the work we talked about but it became clear they were under the impression they were complete with the job. We reached out to resolve our issue and were told the head landscaper had completed what we asked for. Eventually the main landscaper contacted us to Try and straighten out any issues we had and said to read to contract, and it's true, much of what we asked for what not delineated in fine print, so we were wrong to go with the verbal agreement. We figured we would just let it go until all the weeds came back in full glory 2 weeks later. There was no fertilization or soil grooming done at all. My wife called to complain today and was told this was something you have to specifically ask for. We are very unsatisfied with this company and how they operate. I'd strongly suggest avoiding them in the future.
