Unreliable scheduling and poor communication…read more I signed a contract with Gikas Roofing for a skylight replacement and paid a $4,000 deposit. Over the course of a month, they postponed the project three separate times. For the first two delays, they only gave me one day's notice. For the third postponement, they gave me only one hour's notice, and that was only because I reached out to them first to ask for an update (they falsely promised me they would give me updates); they did not contact me. Due to heavy rains over this period, I experienced further leaks of the skylight. After these repeated delays and several ignored inquiries about the timeline, I sent a formal contract rescission citing Breach of Contract (false promises and "reasonable time" violations) and that I would take them to court if they delayed the return of my money. In their response they claimed in writing, "To clarify the record: Gikas Roofing did not breach the agreement or make false statements." I have the full documentation, phone records, and email chain proving otherwise, documentation that I was ready to submit in court. Indeed, their claim itself is a false statement. They refunded my money, but they wasted a month of my time, forced significant scheduling problems for me, and left me scrambling to find a reliable contractor. I still have a leak.

Given the big hype on their phonemail about customer service and happy customers, the cavalier attitude (after I arranged my schedule and was forced to re-schedule my yard clean-up ,etc because of the no-show, and would have to hire another contractor) surprised me. Almost as surprised as when the Spotless truck appeared in the morning many days later, and I repeated to the crew leader that I had terminated Spotless. Shortly afterward, I received an email that my appointment was canceled. The "family" crew that I hired was reasonably priced, efficient, and honest. Destroyed Outdoor Camera and Wireless Access Point…read more I hired Toranzo Property Pros for exterior house washing in Rockland County, NY on August for a service on August 14, 2026. During the service, their crew directly sprayed my outdoor security camera and wireless access point. I have video showing the equipment being sprayed before it went offline, and cleaning-solution residue was left around the Ethernet ports. I contacted the owner and provided details about the damage. Rather than addressing the video, residue, timing of the failures, or the damaged wireless access point, he cited the camera's IP66 water-resistance rating and directed me to pursue the manufacturer's warranty. In my view, a weather-resistance rating does not excuse directly spraying cleaning solution into or around electronic connections, and contractor-caused damage should not be presented to the manufacturer as a product defect. The most disappointing part of my experience with Toranzo Property Pros was the response after the damage occurred. Accidents can happen during pressure washing or soft washing, but I expected the company to take responsibility, submit a liability-insurance claim, or work toward a reasonable resolution. That has not happened, and I am now pursuing other remedies. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Toranzo Property Pros for house washing, pressure washing, or soft-washing services around outdoor cameras, Wi-Fi equipment, or other exterior electronics. I will update this review if the company resolves the matter.
