Great selection of everything from home goods to jewelry. Great place to pop in and bring home some island vibe to your home or as gifts. Prices were reasonable and we found some wooden pieces we'd been trying to track down. $35 for a hardwood party platter and $10 for hardwood bowls. Not koa wood but still a piece of Hawai'i. Line was short and moved quickly. Store is organized and tons of tempting items on display. Staff was friendly and ensured our purchases were safely wrapped for our flight. read more

I like to browse this shop when ever I come to the Kukuiula shopping plaza in Poipu. Lots of nice souvenir and gift stuff. I don't believe I've ever been greeted at this shop by any employee. I did find two items I liked and paid. Clerk was nice. read more

The Maui location that has a kids store wowed me when I went on my last trip so I had high hopes for this one! We bought kids toys at the Keiki store; and at the home store I bought a lot of the ethically farmed seashells. They were a great memory, beautiful and something classic that can be kept forever. I looked for them in this location but did not find any. I really wanted to find something to keep in my house that reminded us of Poipu, but the merchandise just not up to par! So much had text on it, or was just knick-knacky. Think Ross/tjmaxx decor but $$$! Example: you don't want to pack and fly home with a neon throw pillow that says 'oh poipu'. There's so much potential here and maybe the store does just fine! My advice for their buyers is to reevaluate what they're buying and try to find a tasteful direction to move. read more

I was shopping and really wanted some popcorn. They had a bag of truffle popcorn 26.95. Spendy but I was on vacation so why not. Open it later and it was so nasty. I had husband try a piece and he said it was rancid. I took it back to the store and the manager said too bad no refunds on food. We were mad but left. I'm looking at the bag later and find the expiration date of 11/ 12/ 22. We took pictures and made a reverse claim on the card. I also called the store and told them my new information. Asked the manager to call me. She never did, but she did not argue the reverse charge because it was resolved in our favor. This is an adorable store just don't buy any food goods. read more

I had been looking for shells for my granddaughter and finally found them in this delightful shop, at a very reasonable price. ( from 80 cents to $2.80 each). I also bought one that was quite large- maybe 6-7 inches long- in a beautiful pink that was only $12.80. I was very pleased with this purchase. The other items in the store were really nice too- not your typical made in China surfboards. They had totes and other items made of fabric that are great souvenirs. The sales staff was very helpful and pleasant, giving me a basket to hold all my shells and wrapping them carefully for me to travel. The wooden serving pieces were also very nice and very well- priced. Lots to chose from - I think I might have to go back tomorrow for more!!! read more

Okay, I loved this store! It's a cute, beachy home decor shop that just expanded to Kauai after finding success on Oahu and through Etsy. I'm a huge fan of the pillow cases and anything pineapple-themed, and I had to resist the urge to decorate my home like a SoHa display case. The items were all so lovely and better than most of the kitsch found in the more touristy shops. The employees are all very friendly, and they took great care to arrange everything just so and to keep the store nice & neat during business hours. There are a lot of items that could be used as accents for a variety of styles -- I'm more contemporary, while my husband tends toward modern. We ended up taking home several fun kitchen magnets and a cute whale-shaped pillow that will perfectly match my bedroom. The prices were so reasonable too -- how could I pass them up? Once we choose more furniture, I know I'll be looking to SoHa for accent pillows and frames to remind me of our wonderful time in Kauai. I hope their website (coming soon) will feature a shop; for now, I'll have to scour their etsy store for any items I can't live without until my next visit to the Garden Isle. read more

A cute little home goods store at The Shops in Kukuiula that has a fun assortment of interesting nick knacks, gifts, decorations and kids things. Some are tropical/Hawaiian themed, but not the whole store. It's fairly pricey and seems geared towards tourists, but it was fun to look around in. Nothing jumped out at me that I had to have as a lot of things can be found in shops back home. The holidays are approaching and they had their Christmas display up. read more

I have shopped numerous times at this store, and staff usually has always been pleasant. However today, I attempted to enter an open door to the store and a staff was so rude trying to shame me for attempting to enter an open door to the store. Too many other nice stores to shop at for this type of rude treatment. Won't ever return, she was that rude. read more

This shop sells coral heads. I saw about 5 different varieties of coral, along with jars full of cheap real shells. I hope consumers don't buy these items, as the coral is ripped off of the reef alive to be sold. The shells and sea stars are no better, they are taken alive to be sold as decoration too. Coral is protected in Hawaii, so it is all imported from countries with more lax environmental protections, such as the fan corals from Haiti. On top of that, they market themselves as a Hawaii Lifestyle store but almost nothing in the store was made in Hawaii. Some of the stuff in the store was cute, but I hope that companies that so blatantly kill the reefs/ocean do not find success. read more

Love what the shop offers, I would buy everything in there if I could. I went in tonight to buy a few Easter decor for our home, my children were with me, and we went shopping previous from going into SoHa so of course we had shopping bags. The lady working tonight was not nice at all. She didn't greet us when we entered as they usually would and she kept watching us as if we were going to steal something. My children were well-behaved and I am not one to steal. She had a sassy attitude and made it very uncomfortable for me that I didn't even want to buy what I went there for. read more
