It is intimate and perfect for any special event. Tonight we came for a elite event, invite only from one of my favorite radio stations ( @WALK975 ) to see American Idol winner Phil Phillips. A great big THANK YOU to Patrick Shea, Mike, Christina and all the rest of the team that made this epic night possible. The Beach Club at Lake Ronkonkoma is set up perfectly for live entertainment outside. Beautifully adorned with tropical palms, colorful flowers and spacious dance area. It feel Luxurious. Ava Della Pietra, a local senior here on the Island opened for Phil with her hit "Happy for You". Ava has a beautiful voice and I'm sure we will be seeing her name up in lights soon. He was very interactive with the attendees answering questions between songs and giving us stories of his life as a new Dad. He is charming and charismatic, as well as a talented artist. Now as far as the food it was just ok. I had the coconut shrimp that was a little to greasy for me & tomato and mozzarella that had absolutely no salt and a very little drizzle of balsamic. It definitely needed something. It might just have just been a bad night for the chef. Even though the food did not match the decor the place is still truly a Long Island Gem.

They had open bar and when I asked for a tequila sunrise the man put vodka in my drink as I watched him make it and then would not give in that he put in the wrong liquor. In the beginning he was making every mixed drink with the same bottle of clear alcohol no matter what you ordered. Later on, someone else stepped in and got it right. The owners are very conscious of there neighbors and you sign a contract stating the noise ordinance fact, trash on grounds and neighboring homes. Its a shame there is not a parking lot to keep the cars off the street but it is what it is. A clean and spacious hall, is it beautiful? No but decorations make anything look good. You can rent one floor or entire building depending on your guest list. We have always rented entire building and in spring/summer you have the back to be outside as well. The required deposit is refunded when you bring keys back the next day. You are required to surface clean up all trash and litter and do a quick sweep. The nice thing is you get the key around 10am the day of your event which makes life easier to drop off all stuff when you get key and decorate then come back to heat food etc after your all dressed and ready! I understand the frustration of the neighbors and very surprised they allowed a Heavy Metal Party..they must have lied because they ask what type of affair and I'm pretty positive they would have said no!!

Talk about full circle moments. This past weekend we celebrated my brother in law being the Chief of his local fire department. I really couldn't be more proud of him. He is the one that coordinated most of the party and did a stellar job. It was nice to see the place had a facelift since I worked here as a teen. The food was delicious as we had a cocktail style menu for the entirety of the evening. My favorite was the mini burgers. A lovely evening was had by all. We have grown to become the largest tenant in Neumann Leathers and the largest company of its kind in the area, utilizing 40,000 sq. ft. of repurposed former factory space. We provide creative services, studio spaces, and memberships. Our main studios are housed in the R. Neumann and Co. factory complex in Hoboken, New Jersey. Project Studios also has a metal shop and additional studios in the Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood of Jersey City. The company also has had exhibition space in New York City and maintains a storefront gallery in rural Indiana called PROTO ZERO. Project Studios now offers not only private and semi-private studios, but also 6000 sq. ft. of studio amenities. This rich portfolio of resources is provided in the form of well-equipped shops for ceramics, photography, warm-glass, and woodworking. A walk-in spray booth accompanies our wood shop.
