The morning breakfast has a lot of variety, the 24/7 fresh ground coffee machine is a really nice touch. I honestly can't recommend the hotel enough and was so thankful to have their support in such a challenging time.

TV powers on but you can't see any channels (not a biggie for one night) 2. Extra bedding for the sofa bed. It wasn't nicely packed in a bag in the room. Instead the front desk gave us a pillow, blanket and one fitted sheet. Fitted sheet was crumpled as if it had been used. We asked for newly laundered sheets and it was delivered to our room with extra sheets. Some of these sheets were not folded and crumpled. I understand that hotels have a staff shortage but clean sheets are a must for any hotel. I wonder if this is a franchise hotel where they are taking shortcuts. My message to the management is that if this is not fixed they may lose their position as the " official hotel of the SeaWolves". There's so much good in the hotel and this treatment of sheets is irritating. I mentioned this to the lady at the reception at checkout and got a very luke warm response and no apology. That shows me a lack of training and empathy.

While she wasn't exactly what I was looking for, she was EXACTLY what I needed to get through my daughter's first birthday. Yvonne and her crew were BEYOND what I envisioned. They were so helpful and executed everything I wanted to the T and more. They managed my OCD extremely well and gave so many beautiful add ons and extras that I truly know my party would've lacked without her expertise and help. I miss connecting with Yvonne now, but I know that we'll get together for another party soon. :)

I am pretty upset that even with Covid canceling my wedding that the owner of MIA Party Creations…read moredidn't have a heart to give back my $500 deposit. I came to her in September 2019, my wedding was suppose to be June 28th 2020. The INVOICE says non refundable. But due to Covid 19 which was out of my hands and out of hers - she didn't have a heart to give back my deposit. Every other vendor gave back all deposits without even a blink of an eye because Covid was effecting everyone. Covid was an "act of god". When I had a conversation with the owner I was called "hunny" and was belittled and felt she was being condescending. She continued to make remarks such as "time is money sweetie" "let's not get it twisted I'm done here" and states the following: "ok np as ypi said you will not neededing about services by your choice not ours so ypu officially have canceled our non- refundable contract" Canceling the non refundable contract when I was having a conversation about finances and how I don't have any future events planned. She stated I could use the $500 on a future event, but with the hole Covid has put me in even year later I couldn't even fathom spending money on a party when I loose sleep at night how I am going to put food on the table for my children. I shouldn't have to either loose my $500 OR have to spend more money in the future to use up that $500. Even when I have tried to think of another party to use it up i contacted her about using the $500 she wanted me to pay an additional $300 towards a service because her pricing has went up. I have even helped her with projects and crafts for her events in the past. I considered her a crafty knowledgeable friend. In our conversation via text she even went out of her way to put down the projects I have went out of my way for her in the past: Stating: "The t shirts you made the letters fell apart" "No one really cared for for them" She came to me I went to her vise versa.for ideas and crafts. I feel very upset that she couldn't see Covid as an act of god and she keeps referring to her "invoice" that states no refunds applicable on deposit payment". No one asked for Covid or their dream wedding to be canceled in order to keep loved ones safe. I had to accept that my wedding HAD to cancel. I am IN HOPES that Mia Party Creation can come to an agreement.
