I've been going to Soho in Chester for the last 15 years or so. Tabatha is my hairdresser and she is wonderful! We have great discussions when I get my hair done & I feel lucky to count Tabatha, not only as my hairdresser, but also as my friend. I get bored with the same hair color & cut all the time, so I often ask Tabatha for her advice. She's always spot on & makes me look beautiful! My true hair color is brown. Well, I was a redhead for a while (brownish red, but you definitely saw the red). I loved that & it made me feel exotic! These days I'm blonde & I think this is my favorite color! Tabatha mixes just the right color to make me feel good about myself & look great! My hair is short & needs to be cut often. I feel like a new woman after every visit to Soho. Tabatha is great about scheduling my hair appointments & has even "fit me in" sometimes when I was desperate for a hair cut. The other hairdressers are sweet & friendly when I go there, and the young women that wash my hair are friendly, cheerful and helpful. Trust me, you will not regret a visit to Soho. The first appointment was for my 8 year old daughter, and Mallory did such a fantastic job that I made myself an appointment for the following week. We each had our hair washed, cut , and blow dried and on both occasions everything came out perfect. I have been going to Soho in Chester for years. They are very friendly and accommodating. Always willing to work with you. Great stylist. Fair prices. I've gotten hair cuts, eye brows done, color, high lights etc. Each stylist has their own pricing as far as cuts due to different levels. Beautiful place and great atmosphere. I was referred to Soho Salon in Chester, NY and went for the first time back in November of 2022. I was referred to Kacie as I was told that she specialize in Deva Curl and was excellent with cutting/styling naturally curly hair (which is exactly what I have). I was so excited for my first visit with her and was so happy to find that Kacie was absolutely AMAZING! Everything that was told to me about her was TRUE! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about All-Things hair/scalp related but she listens, never makes me feel rushed and always answers any questions or concerns that I have about my hair. I know that she truly cares about her clients and their hair health. Kacie is excellent and knows her stuff!!! Miracle worker TABITHA!!! I was impatient and decided to use a box of hair color under my sink!! Turned my hair orange . Went to my salon and they turned it purple, green orange and yellow!! Great apprenticeship program. I left due to the fact I got a chair at another salon as an entry hairstylist and I passed my bar so I took the opp when I could . Wendy ; is wonderful ( she was the one to convince me to go cosmo school , instead of working for fat burger when I lived in L.A when I was struggling to get by threw law school ( anyone in my situation it's defiantly worth it. ) . If you just graduated from a Cosmo program defiantly check this place out. It's a great foot into the door for other companies to hire you . If you live locally between Beacon ; and Fishkill it's a 10 to 15 minute drive to work . So you will not have to wake up crazy hours to drive. I went to Soho Salon II recently to get my hair colored. I was not happy with the color. I called to explain the next day and I was fit in immediately that same day. I love the young lady that does my hair and I don't think it was because she did not know what she was doing. She is an excellent stylist. Decided to give a new place a try seeing as my hair stylist that I was going to moved down south and the other ladies in the salon are much older than she was so they like to stick to what they know. Well let's just say I wasn't disappointed with the change. The place is extremely clean and comforting. Nicole gave me my haircut but Nikki washed it. Let me just say Nikki does a nice job and I about fell asleep as she was washing my hair. Nicole was able to follow the style of cut that I have, it's a hybrid of two different styles that me and my last stylist meshed together. Prices are not bad seeing as you pay the stylist based on their experience. Everyone was quite friendly and oe of the other stylists complemented me on my cut. Last month my daughter got married. So I made a couple of appointments. First with Susan for eyebrows and lip service. She is so lovely. Very caring, wanted to make sure I was comfortable. Kudos to Susan!! Although a Senior Citizen, I am blessed with an abundance of hair. We were lucky to find Susan here after our move north. Susan is able to follow the natural flow of my hair to achieve a sophisticated executive look while retaining the curls and waves. I can't begin to tell how great my experience was with the Soho Salon in Chester. I was getting married in one week and had everything set up for myself and the eight girls in my bridal party to have both hair and make up done. To make a long story short the salon I was booked with cancelled my appointments claiming she could not get the stylists to accommodate us on a Sunday morning. I called frantically and spoke to the manager of the salon and within one hour Lisa called me back and said she could make it happen. They opened the salon for me at 7:00 on that Sunday morning with 3 stylists that were off that day and did the most amazing job. Thank you to Nicole who's talents were so beyond my expectations. My hair and make up lasted until the next day. I have never felt more beautiful. Also thanks to Cara and Hillary who worked so hard to get us out on time an did a beautiful job on my bridal party. Not only did they go out of their way coming in on their day off but they also greeted us with breakfast and champagne. I would recommend this salon to everyone I know. I will definitely be going back for my next color and haircut. Thank you Soho for helping me out with a situation that could have ruined my wedding day. read more
