Today was my first visit ever to the Soho Salon, and I had to get on here and share with everyone what great experience I had! I absolutely love love love the cut and style I got today! My appointment was with Nick, and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the experience. I could tell he really listened to what I was looking for in a new hairstyle for myself. Nick has a really good sense of hospitality. He made me feel comfortable and confident in his abilities by being both professional and conversational. The whole time he was cutting my hair I felt as if we were old friends catching up. Throughout the whole service, through the washing, the cutting, and the styling, he explained exactly what he was doing and why, and also let me know about the products he was choosing for my hair. I really appreciate how thorough and methodical Nick was in working through my cut-- very diligent and patient-- and I feel like it really paid off! This is easily one of my favorite hair cuts I've ever had, and not just for the cut itself, but because of the experience that Nick provided through the process! Thank you Nick! I highly recommend this salon. I've been coming to Soho since I was a little child-since they were located on Elm Street. Now I'm in my late 20s. You get what you pay for, and that is quality care for whatever beauty treatment you receive. I've come to know the Soho family-Carinina, Mo, Fahimeh, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Stephani, to name a few, all of which are amazing at their jobs. I recently had a Brazillian blowout done by Fahimeh and I went from wacko crazy curls to smooth, silky hair. The lobby is chill and guess what? You may have to wait a little bit, but so what? Take a personal day and relax as you get pampered by these women who love their jobs. I don't live in Denton anymore, but regardless of where I am in the DFW metroplex, I'm making it a date day with myself and coming to Soho. I trust them with my beauty. Soho Salon was amazing! I have never gone to a salon before and never gotten my hair professionally done. This new year, I wanted a big change and after worrying over a lot, I decided I was going to practically cut off all of my hair. I used to have very long, thick, curly hair and I made an appointment with Sara to have it cut into a boy's hair style. I was very nervous that she wouldn't approve or I would be made fun of (I'm a rather nervous person) but not only was she incredibly nice, she was excited to cut my hair and give me such a huge change! Not only did she give me a haircut I absolutely love at an amazing price and very quickly, she was also very nice to talk to and the whole salon made me feel very comfortable! I love my new hair! Alaina worked so hard for so long for get me exactly the hair color I wanted and I am for sure going to be going back! When I realized my hair wasn't exactly what I had envisioned, Alaina took it to heart and added what my hair needed to go above expectation (free of charge!). I usually dread long hours in the salon because I hate forced chit chat but sitting in the chair with Alaina for 7+ hours didn't feel like a chore at all! It felt like I was just having a night with the girls. I got my hair double processed which is a scary thing when your hair is already damaged but I'm pretty sure my hair came out softer than it was going in which is a huge plus!!! Besides getting a great haircut, it's always a pleasure to talk with Sara, the owner, about the newest hair and environmentally friendly products and methods she is using. So I wasn't surprised that they took the corona crises in stride and implemented the new social distancing standards and regulations effectively and without any annoyance for clients. Love love love this salon and my stylist Alaina. I moved here from Denver and was in need of a good stylist. I booked an appointment with her based on the reviews I read here and was very pleased with my choice. I can be very picky and I'm not not very good at explaining how I like my hair done. She was very patient and totally got it. The salon itself is super cozy and chic. There is a lot of local art work and sculptures throughout the place and they have the coolest light fixtures. I went to Soho on a whim since I just moved to Denton. I was able to call earlier that day and make an appointment with Sara Silva. I was kind of nervous because I wanted to get a drastic cut and get about 12 inches cut off, but she was amazing! She really listened to what I wanted and was very thorough. She mentioned how she just moved to Denton herself after having done hair for 13 years and owning her own salon. I really felt that she was both professional and personal. This place is rad. I really liked my color, cut & style. Jordan K. was terrific. She even made me feel comfortable, which means a lot cuz I'm pretty awkward & nervous. I've had a handful of compliments on my hair today. (which was wonderful) Bonus, it was less expensive than the other 2 places I priced. I have been going to Nick for my hair cuts, colors and styles for 2 years now. He is the BOMB. He takes his time with you, treats you like a friend and has fair prices. He is super creative with his styles/cuts and never makes you feel uncomfortable in his chair. I won't let anyone else touch my hair! He knows what he is doing when it comes to coloring, too. SoHo Salon has been such an incredible find in the DFW area! I recently moved from NY and didn't have the first clue as to where to go. Nathan Brouillette did an amazing job on my hair and created the perfect blonde balayage for me. I went the most blonde I ever have, and I won't look back! Watch out for Terry. If he doesn't want to cut your hair he will mess it up. I just got the worst cut of my life from him. I requested long bangs and long top layer, and even took in a picture. I got no bangs and 1 inch hair all over. He even commented about how difficult my hair was to cut, and after I told him I didn't like it he said "don't worry it will grow". read more

I haven't actually had a hair cut here, but they are the only ones in Denton that carry the line of products I use. I went in to get some shampoo and they didn't have it, so Karen picked some up for me in Dallas and brought it back. On top of that, threw in some of my favorite conditioner! They went out of their way to get me what I need and I will definitely be back. read more
