I made it over to brunch that was recommended by a coworker and he was right... it's amazing! Located in downtown Homewood, the location is on the corner and offers great sitting on the patio, bar or inside. Since I was enjoying a solo Mother's Day brunch I was sat at the bar. The menu is expansive and with the all you can eat brunch you can try a lot. It's a lot of food so come with an appetite. I also selected the mimosa option which was great. Service is good but they are busy so you may have to remind them of your next order. Try it! It's so worth it!

This is probably my new fav brunch spot in town!!! Everything I tried was exceptional! They were out of a few dishes I wanted to try , so I have an excuse to return much sooner. I absolutely loved the staff! So fun and provided excellent service from start to finish. They made sure that I had everything I needed. During my visit on a Sunday , there was a nice size crowd but I was able to find a seat at the bar. I had the best time! Great food, drinks and service!!! Highly recommend checking out the weekend brunch. You won't regret it!

Came with SO for their Bottomless Tapas Brunch. It's $48 a person (plus tax and tips, of course) for unlimited mimosas with bottomless brunch and $35 for just Bottomless Brunch. What's kind of amusing to me is they put big bold "complimentary mimosas" on the menu even though it really isn't technically, not without a bunch of strings, as obvious in the pricing. Somebody needs to explain to them what "complimentary" means, ha. They do take reservations and I would recommend making one if you are set on eating there but don't want to wait. We didnt have a reservation but got lucky and was able to sit down right away. This was a bit past 10:30am on a Sundsy morning and the place was over 90% full. Staff there is super nice and efficient, definitely 5 stars in that regard. This being my first time there, I tried as many dishes as I could. A huge fan of the fried green tomato, steak biscuit, and beignets. Got multiple of these and would definitely recommend. Thought the bacon and sausage balls, shrimp and grits, and the fish were terrible. Bacon is floppy and I am a crispy girl, so that's definitely a personal preference thing and you may love it. The grit cake in the shrimp and grits were cold and hard, a definite no. The fish was over fried. Another thing of note is that at not even 11am (and their brunch runs from 10am to 2:30am), they were already out of the quail and almost out of the parfait and the oysters. So if you come at noon, you are already down three things you probably wanted to at least try! That's definitely a problem IMO. These factors caused me to feel like 4-stars is the best I can do, especially considering the cost. However, if you have never been, I would definitely recommend you to give them a try! The stuff that's good are really good and you could just fill up on those haha.

I went during Saturday brunch hours. The price is $35 with no alcohol or $48, which includes approximately five mimosas. If you choose $35, you can add alcohol at the individual amount listed on the menu. The tapas are unlimited; however, you can only order one at a time. They come as individual/single amounts, so they are not shareable. The server usually comes around pretty fast to take the next order. The location isn't a large space, so be prepared to wait to sit if you don't have reservations or if they have a full house. They usually have some bar seating available if it is a packed house. It's not always packed, so go check it out!

I went back on Saturday for a friend's birthday brunch and we had a great time. It was a first time experience for a few of the ladies and they're already coordinating a second visit. Our waitress, Victoria, was such a delight! She was friendly, patient, and gave good menu suggestions. The patio was pretty packed but she made sure we felt taken care of. The Standard team also sent my friend a delicious french toast with a candle in it :) Super sweet gesture and it made her feel special.

The bottomless brunch is definitely worth it if you eat enough to get your money's worth. It's very quaint and decorated nicely. They were out of a few things by the time I got there but everything else was pretty good. The mimosas are STRONG, the food is tasty and service is good. My favorite item was the beignets and least favorite was the chorizo hash. I would skip out on the chorizo. I definitely want to come back and try the items I missed out on! Will definitely be back soon.

Solid location, ambiance and restaurant is nice. Weekend brunch is different but you get full (especially if you're having mimosas.) You get a total of 5 mimosas (of course you can pay for more or any other drink.) Unlimited food during your hour and 30 minute timeframe, except for 3 options (oysters and 2 other items...those are limited to 3 order per person.) Wait staff is so nice and friendly. No modifications to the items (I was able to get some items w/o eggs or crab) but they wouldn't cook the oysters for me. Tehehehe. 2nd time going, definitely would go again! And plllleaasse get Toni's cinnamon roll!!!!

Went to brunch on a Saturday and did the "All You Can Eat Brunch + mimosas" and it was fantastic. You could order as much as you wanted and the quality was surprising considering it's ayce. It came out quick and everything tasted fresh. I highly suggest getting the quail and waffle and the steak and biscuits. Or jusy get everything if you're sharing! It's a really good deal if you plan on eating a lot and also want bottomless mimosas (you can pay less if you go without mimosas). I'm glad something like this is in Birmingham because it's a lot of fun and tastes great!

Best brunch in town. Bottomless tapas with an extensive menu of high quality dishes. I've been 3x and it is amazing every time. 35$ so on the pricier side for brunch but worth every penny. My favorites are the caprese with burratta, quail n waffles, French toast, steak n biscuits. The amazing thing is that nearly every dish I've had there is a winner which is super rare. I went with a big group and have now officially tried all 19 different dishes. They even have raw oysters.

Soup changes daily and this day was chickpea and chorizo. Nothing life changing about it but it wasn't bad. We walked into a small, dark, crowded dive bar and ordered amongst several other people after waiting in line shoulder to shoulder with other customers. I say this not to complain (because with a crowd like this on a random weekday, they're obviously doing something right) but to take your kids in car seats (‍) with caution. Crowds in small spaces stress me out and it would have been even worse if we'd had the boys with us. I'd also highly suggest going on a day when you can sit outside. There's very minimal seating inside. They do have a lovely, spacious patio that also feels like a garden with plenty of trees for shade. However, they make it clear they don't want dogs there. Parking was horrific. A narrow street with cars on each side. We barely fit through it. If there wouldn't have been an open spot on it, I'm not sure what the next option is because I didn't see anywhere else and this street only held so many. I would dine here again because the sandwiches were fresh and delicious and they obviously know what they're doing! I was pleasantly surprised that they had prosecco as well. Just heed my few warnings and you'll enjoy as well!

It gives a great vibe for either a work dinner, a date night, owl or dinner with friends! It's fun and swanky but not over the top. I try to handful of appetizers and I've got to recommend both the jerk cauliflower as well as the brussels sprouts and the Caesar salad was delicious as well. Also, the blistered Hungarian peppers are a must order if you'd like sausage! The meal that I had both times because it was that good was the spicy lamb rigatoni. I might just go back next week and get it again. I like that they have a wide variety of options whether you're looking for a gluten-free meal or something carb heavy like pizza or pasta, but they also have options to fit a variety of budgets from a casual dinner and a burger to more expensive entrées. The servers are very kind and are definitely educated in their wine and food offerings and very hospitable. Since this is located on Morris, a lot of people think parking is difficult down there, but apparently there is a parking lot in the back where you're able to get your ticket validated. I know some of my friends wish they would have known this before. I'll definitely be back and recommend this spot to others wanting a good meal!

Gone from their early days during the pandemic when they were take out only to their newly renovated and larger dining area. There's nice bar with stools nearly centered in the restaurant. Employees are more friendly than you can imagine. Located on 280 near the Greystone entrance, YYST is on the right in a small quaint strip shopping area that's raised "above" 280. So if you're driving by you can see YYST by looking up. There's no outdoor seating, but plenty of tables and chairs inside with seating at the bar. They are quite proud of their Yelpies 2025 award for "Beloved Birmingham Business" which sits at the front entrance. Their menu is comprehensive with the right amount of dishes to satisfy. Every "Thai" place seems to have their own take on most dishes and YYST is no different. Their "recommended" entrees include Mango fish, Pad Thai Chakangrao, Massamun Short Rib, Pad Thai Wings and Panang New York Strip. Then they also have "Signature Plates" whose menu descriptions had my mouth watering. There's also stir fry, curries, salads, and even a lunch menu. Since I wasn't dining, I was going to do my litmus test and try their version they call Beef Drunken Uncle noodle. I also ordered their Fresh Basil Shrimp Rolls, and Bangkok market fried rice. I waited at the bar for about 10 minutes when my packaged meals arrived. I was offered a glass of cool water as I waited at the bar. The rolls were wrapped in saran wrap and I would guess were probably made a couple of days ago. Nothing wrong with that except I got unlucky and rice paper wrapper was almost crunchy. They were a little heavy on the use of lettuce, but each had 4 large fresh shrimp. The taste wasn't anything spectacular BUT their version of the dipping peanut sauce saved it. Yom Yom Yom! The fried rice was delicious. Tossed in a wok with eggs, onions, chinese broccoli and their house sauce, I had beef added as the protein and it was delicious. My Drunken noodle was very good! This traditional street food inspired dish is a classic. Wide noodles tossed with snap beans, garlic, onions, bell peppers with thai chili and basil, their version is quite good! It had great flavor and an excellent representation of the drunken noodle. Next time I might have to pay extra for a fried egg on top. Yom Yom Yom Yom! I'm glad I finally visited YYST. I am looking forward to returning and this time dining in. The Panang New York Strip and Mango Fish have my name on them!
