    Veggie spring rolls

Botanical Garden food truck night!!! Soi Number 9 you had me at Thai! Delicious and flavorful tofu rice curry dish. Good portions. So worth the 40 minute wait which didn't feel like much of a wait as I listened to live music and talked with friends. I also ordered the veggie spring rolls. They were hot, crunchy and full of flavor!! The only thing missing is an iced green. I'll be back!

I used to live in San Francisco so Ive had my fair share of Thai, and this food ranks high on my list. Its fresh and flavorful and the Fried Khao Mun Gai (basically fried chicken over rice) is a great starter dish if you want to try thai for the first time. Its the spice and the sauce for me. Also, licking that good sauce from your fingers is allowed (ask for extra, it's that good).

The Panang Curry with chicken is excellent! We always enjoy when this food truck visits Hedgemoor. The staff is super friendly!

When I saw him shifting through the boxes, I said I am not the one with a preorder. He continued to sift through the boxes, so I repeated myself thinking that he most likely did not hear me. He got an attitude with me and said, "I am listening to YOU if you want to tell me your order." I get it. It is hot outside and you are busy, but you don't have to be an a**hole about it. You signed up for the job, not me...a smile and a more positive attitude would go along way with your customers. Food was served hot and was correct with what I had ordered. Part of being in the food service industry is being kind to your customers, especially when they are kind to you.

I am not sure what's up but I just don't like any of the things I've tried here. Nothing tastes bad per se, it just doesn't taste like anything. And I know it's not just that that's how fries taste because I've had some amazing fries at another food truck that visited earlier this year- IDK if I wrote down the food truck name or not but those will haunt me. I'm sure had adjustments to the rent and policies. So they're primarily food truck and catering company now. The food is perfectly cooked and plentiful, and the price is definitely right. So it's worth hunting them down. You can also text or email him.And he is good about returning messages within minutes of their location. Noteworthy,, they are not always available as they once were because there catering is really picking up - and that makes them unavailable to the general public. Chicken shrimp pork tofu steak are available as skewers buttered Ethiopian style with large side orders of sauteed vegetables or lentil stew and buttered rice. You will slap your mama, it's that good. I was going to take off a star off just because you can't ever find them when you really really want to but I am so happy that they are doing well

I had them booked for several months and I stayed in regular contact. On Thursday before the Sunday event at our church, I reached out to discuss our rainy day plan (since it was forecast to rain), they said "I think it's best to cancel if it rains. We never had a good experience in the past." **Note, the word IF.** I replied back that we could have people eat indoors and that we had an awning they could park under right by the doors. Regardless of rain, people would still stay to eat. No response. On Saturday, I texted to let them know that if it was light rain the next day, we planned to go ahead with the event but if it was storming, we'd cancel. Either way, I'd message them by 8 am the next day because they were scheduled to arrive by 10:30 am. No response. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. On Sunday morning, I texted to them know the forecast didn't show rain until later in the afternoon and would they please let me know if they were coming? No response. I called and texted several times. No answer, no response. I was finally forced to order pizza for about 100 people so we would just have enough food to feed everyone. I don't know how they stay in business with service like that!!

I got the lobster mac and cheese sandwich which was phenomenal. It was packed full so much that when you took a bite it would fall out (good thing in my book). The price was super fair in my opinion. I recently judged the Best Memphis Burger competition and sadly to say this burger was NOT in it. I think this burger goes toe toe with the grand champion Elboe burger! After a brief conversation with Jared (owner ) about the event he told me that someone else that judged the competition said that he actually had the best burger in Memphis so I had to see for myself.... This amazing thick juicy double patty burger with Gourmade aioli sauce, white cheddar cheese, a peppered green, butterd pickles and pickled red onion (which I admittedly took off because onions make me gag) sorry if that was tmi. But this burger was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was just outstanding with flavor and the brioche bun that was soft but yet firm enough to hold everything together. I hope this helps!
