    Pineapple Fried Rice
    Sam O.

Decided to try out this Thai place after randomly stumbling upon it online. I will say, it left a lot to be desired. The place was oddly empty when we came in and overall, the service was speedy and good. We ordered the pineapple fried rice, green curry, and a Thai tea. The pineapple fried rice was pretty good and had nice flavor. The green curry was disappointing. I had it mild spicy and it was so spicy, you would think I ordered hot spicy, plus it had this odd bitter aftertaste that just wouldn't go away and there was zero flavor. It was really odd and I def wouldn't order it again. The Thai tea was pretty decent but it was a little watered down. Overall, it was an experience that left a lot to be desired and just didn't hit the spot.

I had high hopes, when I walked it, it smelled good! The menu seems standard with Thai cuisine. The food was lacking major flavors. If bland was a picture it would be the pad Thai. Also, the food looks nothing like the picture which is so disappointing. At least look somewhat similar if you're going to show what it looks like. The wonton soup had so much veggies and barely any wontons. But on the pic it showed no veggies. The Thai noodle soup was oh so bland for 19 dollars that's ridiculous. Also looks nothing like the picture. Absolutely trash. I do not recommend if you want authentic Thai food because this is so far from that. Service was so slow, on a busy sat night there was only 1server.

**Standard rating for American Thai cuisine.** It seems they are catering to the local crowd, but this definitely wasn't an authentic Thai restaurant. We ordered spicy edamame, Tom Yum soup, grilled beef salad, red curry, chicken pad Thai, pad prik, pad basil chicken, and Thai tea. The service and the staff were extremely nice! Let's start with the spicy edamame; it was definitely one of the highlights of the night! I really enjoyed it. **Tom Yum soup:** The broth was clear, which was telling. Unfortunately, it wasn't very flavorful. **Grilled beef salad:** I think they were attempting to make nam tok, but it missed the mark. There was no roasted rice flavor or fish sauce, and it was very under-seasoned. However, I must say the meat was tender. Traditionally, nam tok doesn't contain that much vegetable--usually, it has just a small portion of leafy greens. **Red curry:** This wasn't bad, but I believe they used coconut milk instead of coconut cream, making it too watery. While the flavor was decent and the spice level was good, the dish was overly soupy and lacked richness. **Chicken pad Thai:** The texture was spot on, but the presentation was lacking. It definitely missed the sourness that is key to this complex dish. I squeezed in some lime wedges, but it could have used more flavor overall. **Pad prik and pad basil chicken:** Both were served in a garlic chili sauce, so I expected a similar flavor profile. However, they were quite mid and tasted identical. The sauce was not thickened at all, looking more like broth (see photo). **Thai tea:** Unfortunately, it was very watered down. I don't even know where to begin; it lacked flavor and was simply too watery.

Very good food and service. Have tried several items and loved them all. The Green Curry and Pad Basil were both amazing.

I loved the Thai Curry Shrimp Wontons but they aren't as shareable as I was expecting. I was thinking they'd be special dumplings but it was more like a dumpling soup. I really liked the Ma Po Tofu which was unexpected because I usually don't like tofu. But this tofu was super soft and decently flavorful. The Egg Drop Soup was very flavorful and doesn't have the weird aftertaste that some of them have. I wasn't as impressed with the Ma La chicken as I hoped so I wouldn't get that for myself again but everything else was delicious and I'd get it all again. The Vietnamese Coffee was really cool. It reminded me of one I'd read about recently in a book about Vietnamese restaurants. Surprise, I'm a nerd. It was cool to experience IRL something I'd just been reading about. The Thai Iced Tea though was not my thing. My friend who is into that specific type of tea said it was really good so please listen to her, not me since I am really weird about tea. I ordered the Singapore rice noodle dish like last time, the only dish I'd tried there, and got sweet sour sauce on the side. The waitress acted annoyed at my request for a clean glass and regular menu inquiries which was off putting but I stayed anyway. Within 1 hour of consuming the food, it came right back out with a VENGEANCE! I got food poisoning from here. Never again!

FAVORITE SPICY FOOD OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE…read more I legit am in love with this place. I LOVE how the food had spice but it isn't overwhelming. It adds to the flavor without being the only thing to the food. I just wish I had more people who liked spicy food to come eat here with me. I came back with some friends from out of town and it was still amazing. My fav thing is still on the Lunar New Year Menu: the Sichuan Mala Dry Pot. It had amazing flavor, good spice, and everything in it was just awesome. I've found a similar thing on the regular menu so I won't have withdrawals except for the fact that I genuinely want to eat here every week and can't hahah To try: Mapo Tofu Appetizer: Steamed Chicken with Chili Sauce Edamame Beef Spicy Crispy Chicken Sichuan Style Fried Rice Dandan Noodles Spicy Dry Noodles Loved: - House Special Mala Xiang Guo Dry Pot - Lunar New Year: Sichuan Mala Dry Pot (ABSOLUTE FAV) - Peony Chicken Liked: - Beef and Broccoli - Fried Rice: Yangzhou Style - Lunar New Year: Homestyle Whole Fish - Lo Mein: chicken, shrimp, and extra spice - Twice Cooked Pork Ok: - Tea: Jasmine - Lunar New Year: Garlic Pork Ribs Disliked: - Lunar New Year: Four Happiness Meatball - Traditional Kung Pao Chicken

I have been meaning to visit this place for a while, and it finally happened!!…read more As always, my review is based on my experience. Went here for a date night. I had to add my name to their waiting list through the iPad in the front desk. Real quick and simple. We were seated within 10 minutes. The service is very different than usual. They explained us that once you look at the menu and are ready to ordered to buzz on the right hand corner and a server would come and take your order. The appetizers and ramen were very delicious. The broth had a lot of flavor. The place is very uniquely decorated. Just like a bee hive. Honeycomb nooks with tables and not comfy seats though. But I liked the ambiance and decorations! I highly recommend!!

Exceptional customer service but the flavor of food left much to be desired…read more My husband and I came in today on my birthday and ordered a couple of Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu bowls along with the deep fried gyoza dumplings as an appetizer. The gyoza dumplings were absolutely phenomenal. The sauce on top was delicious. They were perfectly crisp and overall the flavor will bring us back! The ramen bowls, whilst both were ordered with black garlic, one arrived with black and one arrived with white garlic broth (you can tell the difference by the flavor and the color of the broths in one of my uploaded pictures) The dark garlic bowl was by far better than the white garlic bowl. The white garlic broth was very fatty (there was a separated layer of oil on top) and was very bland in flavor. This in conjunction with the fact that there was absolutely no sort of sodium available whether through a sauce form or in the form of a salt shaker or something on the table, made a majority of the bowl inedible for me personally. The chashu pork was very good, the egg was nothing special, the other additions to the bowl didn't do much to aid it. At the end, I did try my husbands broth and it was a lot better than mine was and would've changed a lot of my feedback about my bowl. We also ordered the passion fruit drink from Tbaar and it was absolutely AMAZING. I will absolutely be back to grab this drink over and over again. The ambiance inside was great. We loved how they have the entire place set up, they're very fast to come to help when you press the button. You are otherwise not bothered at all. There's a ton of seating options. It looks really cool in there and the little booths have a curtain separator so it feels really private, which is nice. We will be back, we will probably just bring some salt with us next time.
