Through a mutual colleague, we connected on a Friday regarding a wedding she needed a DJ for that same Sunday. Yes, three days later. We spoke on the phone, and she wasn't in a panic. She simply did her due diligence, getting to know me, my experience, and my qualifications. At the same time, I got to know her. I have worked with over 50 different party planners throughout my career, and let me tell you, Liz is one of the best party planners I've ever worked with. She was given the task of putting together a wedding in eight days. Yes, I said eight days--and she nailed it. The client (the groom) was not very forthcoming with ideas of what he wanted, so Liz had to creatively guide him down the path of getting the best results. They were on top of all of our vendors and explaining the wedding decor set up was easy and pain free so that by the time we were walking down the aisle, we were able to focus on each other and the fun and memorable parts of the wedding day. Additionally, Liz and team were cordial and accommodating to all of the other vendors and made sure to keep us aware of only information we needed to know. Our catering company was late and Liz was on top of it immediately, problem solving with our bartending vendor to make sure service was on point. Also, our chair and furniture rental vendor was late for pickup, and WINK! made sure to stay on top of them so that we didn't end up getting charged for overtime at the venue (which had a strict load out policy). The rentals vendor nearly cost us extra, but with Liz's excellent communication and patience, Wink was able to get the rentals ina and out on time, while also appeasing the venue in a diplomatic manner. Overall, the process and day-of with Liz was fun and filled with joy! WINK! is a dream to work with and we quite literally could not have accomplished all that we did without them. Each and every event is executed perfectly. Personally, Nhu and her team planned my baby shower and my anniversary photoshoot. I gave them some inspiration pictures and they turned them into reality, a 100 times better reality. For example, on my photoshoot I only mentioned a word:secret garden. Quest ended in less than 5mins. Yes, odd for a toddler bday to have an MC but there were 140 people and we needed someone to lead the party. Alexsei came earlier than us preparing for the party. He even went out of his way to bring a red carpet for the photo zone. I requested him to play some funny games he probably never heard of but he managed to pull it off like it was his. We had 7 dwarfs and my daughter was the snow white. He made all 7 dwarfs dancing to the beat and little kids followed them. Great choice of music tok. Not to mention, having a timeline of the program, reminders of venue procedures and simply being connected to all other vendors - help immensely. Yvonne was exactly that. From our beginning email exchange, I could already tell she is on top of her business. This brings us to the day of, I was surprised by being welcomed by 2,3,4? I lost count how many people were on her crew but each and every one of them were extremely helpful. Although, we needed little help, the impression they left on me everlasting. I felt like I can trust the person we were working with and that they were there to also support us whenever and whatever we needed. Every moment we checked-in with a coordinator, they were readily available, easy to find, nice and easy to talk-to. Every time they followed-up with our inquiries, it was in reasonable time and they always came back with an answer. I give Yvonne a lot of credit for hiring and training the right members of her team. They reflect on her very much. I interviewed 4 other "Day of" coordinators and none put me at ease so much as Chantelle. She is calm, reassuring, dedicated, and an absolute pro at what she does. Although she was our "Day of" coordinator, Chantelle checked in with me periodically months before the wedding was to take place and answered all of my questions and provided candid advice on vendors and etiquette. She attended our final meeting/walk through at our wedding venue to make sure that she and the venue knew precisely where we wanted our items to be placed, how the tables would be set up, when various events would take place, etc. She contacted all of our vendors, my maid of honor and the best man to introduce herself and make sure everyone understood their roles and responsibilities during the wedding. When my makeup artist dropped out 2 days before my wedding because she came down with pneumonia, Chantelle immediately contacted me to make sure I did not freak out. On the morning of my wedding, she called me to make sure the makeup artist was on time and called me afterwards as well to make sure I was satisfied with her services. Chantelle is a logistical whiz. She created a diagram of our ceremony showing where our guests would sit, our attendants would stand, our gifts would be placed, and the order in which the processional and recessional would take place. Ours was an interfaith wedding with many components, so the diagram was extremely helpful. When I arrived at the ceremony site it was exactly as we had planned. Every item in its proper place. During our rehearsal, Chantelle was patient and understanding when some of our guests were running late. She did not rush through the rehearsal. She brought copies of the diagram she created and made sure everyone understood exactly what they were to do, where they would stand and/or be seated and explained the different cues during the ceremony. She ran through this with us twice just to be sure I was comfortable. Chantelle also worked with us to create an extremely detailed time line making sure we had enough time for all the photographs we wanted, to do our first dance, to eat, make some table visitations, make toasts, do the hora, do the father/daughter mother/son dances, cut our cake and eat it too and do the money dance. Thanks to Chantelle, all of this was pulled off without a hitch. About a week before our wedding, Chantelle gave me a detailed supplies list indicating every item needed for our ceremony and reception and who was providing what. This made my life super easy when it came time to pack everything up to be transported to the site. Due to her meticulous list, not a single thing was missing on the day. Chantelle was on top of everything during the reception. When it was my maid of honor's turn to make her toast she gave her a 5 minute warning. When my maid of honor responded that she wasn't tipsy enough, yet, Chantelle came back to her table with a full glass of wine. What more could you ask for? I honestly do not know what I would have done without Chantelle. I enjoyed every moment of my wedding because I knew everything was in good hands. I cannot gush about Chantelle enough. She made our wedding a dream come true.
