We ordered 3 Don (rice ) bowls
Teriyaki chicken - served with half a soft boiled egg.
Unagi Eel - served with half a soft boiled egg as well. Both are fine and meets the usual expectation of rice bowls you would order in many Japanese restaurants.
Vegetarian - I have to start by applauding them for including vegs that I don't usually find in other veg rice bowls. Pumpkin was sweet and added a nice element to the dish, there were lots of kimchi and became too overpowering, okra was good, and there was pickled daikon ( I think) and a fermented something that was a bit too unusual for me. No boring vegs in this rice bowl but then again it could probably do with some eggs, carrots and less Kimchi.
Crispy rice with salmon sashimi, salmon roe and dynamite sauce - this was awful. Usually Im not too fussy with salmon anything or sushi pieces, but there was definitely no sashimi piece here! It's all blended like a paste, and nothing enjoyable about it. Sorry I'm just not a fan.
If you are checking them out I would suggest to stick to the usual meals read more
