Found this place after my car accident and they accept insurance…read more Dr. Lu has many years of experience and after my first session I could definitely tell. I've been to many and have noticed many like to hit the general spots but the better ones actually hit unique areas depending on your ailments. When you get acupuncture, they initially prick you, and then better ones will twist and insert the needle deeper. If the initial prick hurts that's not a good practitioner. If during the twist you feel like a really sour sensation, your practitioner hit a really good spot. Embrace it! I didn't realize that Dr. Lu was inserting done needles a good 3 inches into me. Dr. Lu does very well assessing you and listening to your symptoms and then physically testing spots for your feedback. Solid experience and a handful of visits.

Previously was experiencing burning mouth but it went away. Dr. Lu will ask questions and check your pulse to determine what is weak in your body. Usually these problems occur due to having too much heat in my system and weakness in the liver and kidneys. This part is $25. She prescribed 4 bags of herbs each $15/bag in which she will explain how to prepare them into a tea to drink for about a week. I did not use insurance and was not sure if my insurance would even take it. She is very kind and knowledgeable. I felt my symptoms improved. I would definitely return.

I can't fully explain how grateful I am to have discovered Dr. Peter, Justin and Cathy. From day 1,…read morethey not only listened to me about my health issues, they also offered me compassion and a solid treatment plan. They did not upsell me anything. They only required that I quit eating processed food and flour and that I come in twice a week. I was skeptical at first but I gave it a solid shot. I'm happy to report that after just five sessions, after 10 years of insomnia and depending on *herbal* remedies and ambien and NyQuil, I now sleep like a baby. For 7 hours straight. You don't know how life-changing this is. And for the first time in my life, I wake up feeing refreshed and excited to face my day. I have absolutely no need for coffee because I have so much more energy after I get up and my energy levels are consistent throughout the day. I am so grateful to these people for giving me back my health. I thought feeling like crap was just aging. It wasn't. It was decades of bad habits taxing my body, that they had managed to undo with some strategically placed needles and nourishing herbs. I owe these people the happiness I now enjoy as a middle-aged woman and the excitement I have tackling my day. I feel better than I did when I was in my 20s. I strongly urge you all to give acupuncture a shot instead of taking 20 pills a day for symptoms. These guys don't cure symptoms. They get right to the root of your problem. I promise you, their acupuncture technique will change your life.

I have continued to come twice a week and each time I have much more energy in my leg. Their facility is clean, relaxing, and these are miracle workers. My entire experience here has been wonderful. I strongly recommend going in if you've never tried acupuncture. This was my first time receiving a treatment like this, and Dr. Peter is a 3rd generation acupuncturist. You are in good hands! Thank you Dr. Peter and Dr. Justin--you are Magic!

The doctors are very warm, patient, and caring. They take the time to listen carefully and always make me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I can tell they truly care about their patients and want to provide the best treatment possible. Dr. Ieng has helped me with different health concerns, and I really appreciate the care I have received. They also provide many different kinds of treatments, which makes me feel supported in my overall health. My husband also came here after spraining his ankle, and after two acupuncture treatments, he felt much better and recovered quickly. We are both very thankful and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for acupuncture, herbal medicine, or Chinese medicine care.

I came here because my mom has always recommended this place to me. I had been dealing with bad…read moreback pain and finally decided to give it a try. I asked for an acupuncture visit. About 10-15 minutes in I experienced the most horrific pain and panic of my life when I felt like my back had been lit on fire. I have had acupuncture/cupping done before and I know heat is involved but this felt completely different. I genuinely felt fire consume my lower back and let out a scream. He immediately began to pat my back and try to cool me down as I cried and cried. I apologized for screaming out of embarrassment and he said it was "just the heat" but it felt so much more different than what I've experienced before. He did different things to try and "cool me down" and then left me in the room for about 15 minutes. When he came back he removed the needles and once again rubbed things on my back. It also wasn't until later that I realized he never did any cupping on me. As he finished he said "next time just tell me you don't like heat" but this was so much more than just heat. I actually have a pretty high heat tolerance and knew this was just not normal. He then proceeded to charge me $60 and say I might need a second visit if the pain doesn't go away. As I left I began to cry again, I felt like my body was in a state of panic after feeling like I had been lit on fire alive. My family told me heat was normal during the appointment but I guess I didn't explain myself well to them because it was not until they saw my back that they understood what I went through. Everyone that has seen my back is left with their jaw dropped and telling me this is not normal. My family says they will never be going again and my mom is telling everyone she has ever recommended to not go. I understand this could have been an accident but the fact that he did not even own up to it and tried to pass this experience off as normal is what upsets me. Now I still have back pain and this insane burn on my back. If this wasn't an accident and is how this treatment goes, he needs to do a better job at explaining that and also warn clients about the gnarly scars it will leave.

The door was locked and there were no cars in the lot, which made me nervous, but I was early so I just rang the Ring doorbell. No one answered. I peeked inside and it looked closed (only lights I could see were the ones around the giant lobby mirror), but there was a sign saying everyone was with customers, so I didn't panic. 5:10 - still no response when I rang the bell, so I tried calling the number. I got a voicemail. 5:15 - called again, still voicemail, then I rang the doorbell like ten times, but still nothing. (It's a Ring bell--shouldn't someone be able to see that there's a customer at the door?) I waited until 5:20, but at this point, I was boiling hot because it was 85 degrees and they have no shade anywhere in their parking lot. I was worried I'd get a sunburn. I was also pretty upset by this point, as I had a feeling they'd forgotten about my appointment. I ended up making an appointment with a different spa down the street (shout-out to Harmony Massage & Spa for taking me on such short notice and helping get all those knots out, I highly recommend them!), and while I was in that appointment, Aracieli from Lotus called and said "I apologize, I had a mix-up with the time." In today's day and age of phone organization and calendar reminders, that just doesn't seem responsible to me. Not to mention, I received THREE reminders about the appointment in the days leading up to it. I guess they don't receive the same reminders that their customers do? I can't speak for the quality of service, as I received none, but if you book with these people, I HIGHLY recommend calling at least 1-2 days before your appointment and confirming with an actual person that someone will be there, because if you check their reviews, I am not the first person this has happened to.
