Just discovered this awesome spot to get vacation/summer ready (or keep that summer glow all year long) and I'm obsessed! Most importantly, the owners Sonia & Jason are wonderful! Many years ago a friend did an amazing spray tan job but she moved to SoCal, tried another place and they were so horrible and rude, had such a bad experience (but probably Bc they were understaffed) but the tanning came out aight. Found Sol Tanning on Yelp and was able to do a quick last min walk in before going out of town for a wedding. The Cocktail recommended is amazing, self spray tan booth (15 mins) medium glow and UV session (6 mins) after to absorb it more nicely. Sonia is absolutely delightful! Came in looking to get some color for an event, she explained all the packages and the special, I got the unlimited tans for the month for $99 and the stand up bed is giving me the color I wanted. I also got a small bottle of lotion $35 that smells great and is helping with the color. Everything is clean, the rooms are spacious and have a stool to put your stuff on. I bought a tanning package to get tan before my wedding. My fiancé got his own package too and loved going. He had never done tanning before and he was nervous. But after his first time he was all in! Owners Sonia and Jason are really cool and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Along with tanning I also tried their teeth whitening treatment! The pricing is really great across the board which is what got my attention at first (I'm a bride on a budget). They have lots to offer and also have cute workout gear and luxury designer accessories like sunglasses and stuff. I did the red light treatment which was really cool. You basically walk or run on a treadmill for 30 mins while wearing this scuba skirt/belt that traps the heat in the treadmill booth, which helps burns more calories (1,000 cals burned in 30 mins if you run). Then did the red light bed and even after one session I thought my thigh cellulite looked smoother and more even. My regular system is to spray tan then do the standup bed right after. They call this the cocktail. I was afraid I'd sweat my spray tan off by doing a uv bed right after but I didn't get hot enough to actually sweat and I'm a sweater. Everyone looks better with a tan, it's undeniable! I'm hooked! read more

So not so funny story: in an effort to get a nice base tan before my trip to Vegas, I sat out by my pool 3-4x in the past two weeks. What ended up happening is that my back and front were nicely tanned and then the sides of my body were pretty much untouched by the sun. (Think marshmallow sandwiched between two graham crackers) So in a desperate attempt to fix this I found Sol through yelp! I saw on their website they had a free UV tanning session for new customers -score! I also opted for a spray tan just to help even out my ridiculous tan lines. The front desk girl was super super sweet and knowledgeable and I felt like I was in great hands. I ended up going for the clear dark ($35) which she said gets darker over the next 48 hours. Once that portion was complete I stepped into the standing tanning bed for 10 minutes. It was super comfy, not too hot and it actually helped the spray tan dry so I wasn't too sticky leaving the store. All in all this place rocks! I would 10/10 recommend. Love how conveniently located this place is! I was looking for a quick place to get a tan prior to my Bachelorette party, and decided on Sol Tan because of the great reviews. I was able to get an appointment very easily, and went in at 7pm. After reviewing the menu of sevices and talking with the owner, I opted for the cocktail, which involves a spray tan followed by a stand up bed sesh. The spray tan was done by machine (a first for me as I'm used to hand spray tans) and I immediately went to the stand up bed after (yes, I know that tanning beds are bad for you). It felt really good because it dries the tanning solution faster, like baking it on lol. My tan came out PERFECT! The color was even and true tone, as opposed to orange. It looked super natural. All my girls were commenting on it the whole weekend! I did medium shade, and would probably stay with that shade but skip the stand up bed part for a day to say tan (you gotta be a little extra before vacay though ;)).
