Unfortunately, our sliding door screen was dislodged at the bottom corner almost immediately by our cat. When I called to ask about warranty coverage or possible solutions, the customer service experience was disappointing. The woman I spoke with was rude, laughed at my concern, and told me that no one had ever asked about this before. Rather than offering any assistance or discussing options, she stated that they would have to charge us to come out and look at it. I understand that not every issue is covered under warranty, but I expected better customer service and a more professional response, especially after spending extra money on a product marketed as pet-resistant. Based on both the product performance and the customer service experience, I would not recommend this company.

J & H was the last one estimate (we got two more estimates before) , we decided to go with J & H, paid required 10% deposit. On a prior arranged date, Dave arrived on time, gave us estimate as how long the job will take. My boss is always hates the noise, so we left and after three hours the job was done to our satisfaction. Dave was courteous, and did a great job (thank you, Dave). One thing should be improved is the communications with the customers. First we have to wait for the quote (I had to ask Mike,where it's), then after sending deposit almost a week past, still we don't know status, again text to Mike, now we know the reason and when it will be done. Otherwise we recommend J & H, local small business, but please keep customers in the loop.

For those of us who own homes in the 92127/92128 area, they are indispensable. You can't find any businesses that know the old hardware or construction methods used back then. Andy and Javier absolutely nailed it, and did a job we had been told by others couldn't be done. We got to keep our 50-year old heavy mirrored closet doors and they were able to install a new track in the recessed tile. They were fast, like they'd done this a million times before, probably because they have. Everything was perfect, you could measure it with a level and it was perfect. This is the dying skill I can't find in a business anymore, people with a "can do" attitude that know how to improvise and yet still get a job done like they've seen it many times before. Everyone else said to give up due to that recessed track and ancient hardware needed to keep this thing rolling. Thank you. We'll call again when it's time for a bigger job.

Still struggling with this one. Originally (just about 1.5 years ago) had an appointment for…read moremeasuring. A & D never showed up. Life moved forward as the world struggled with diseases and health. Fast forward to today (about a couple weeks ago). I stopped in the office to schedule another appointment from the lackadaisical staff. The installer/measurer showed up and told me that someone would be contacting me with the estimate . . . . . . (those dots are days gone by, and still waiting) for them to contact me with a price for work to be performed. They never contacted me. Some people might say I should contact them again. I say two strikes and you are out. A & D will attempt to downplay their oversight and lack of business ethics with a reply like, "we take our business seriously" and "call us and we will fix it". Nope, I am not going to give them an opportunity. If they cant complete their promised work offsite, then what makes you think they will show up to complete work onsite? Rightfully so, I'm not going to patronize A & D. Not worth much more effort than this review. Dicks
