We replaced our entire deck and included Vladimir in the design stage and he provided valuable insight for the framing and blocking that would best support the new half-inch frameless glass railing that he recommended. Everything was handled efficiently with Vladimir via text or phone-call and he was very good at providing status updates along the way. A friendly three-man crew made precise measurements for the railing "base shoe" and for each section of glass. The same skilled craftsmen returned for the installation and were gracious in accommodating the few changes I asked for during the installation. My initial review in the days following the job, I gave them 5 stars. They installed a shower door timely and priced fair. However, the brass hinges and brackets began to discolor within a month and look completely black. I contacted Local glass with pictures and he responded saying that it was the cleaner I was using. 1) I use normal tile cleaner all around and hadn't cleaned the glass with anything other than a squeegee and the recommended cleaner. 2) There is also a brass drain cover, shower head/handle, and door handle... NONE of them are discoloring like the door hinges. He contacted the hinge company and said they were under warranty but that he would charge me over $250 to have his guys install them. I get that it may be the hinge company's fault and he has to pay his guys, but that should not be at my expense. They do not stand by the materials they use. read more
