My initial review in the days following the job, I gave them 5 stars. They installed a shower door timely and priced fair. However, the brass hinges and brackets began to discolor within a month and look completely black. I contacted Local glass with pictures and he responded saying that it was the cleaner I was using. 1) I use normal tile cleaner all around and hadn't cleaned the glass with anything other than a squeegee and the recommended cleaner. 2) There is also a brass drain cover, shower head/handle, and door handle... NONE of them are discoloring like the door hinges. He contacted the hinge company and said they were under warranty but that he would charge me over $250 to have his guys install them. I get that it may be the hinge company's fault and he has to pay his guys, but that should not be at my expense. They do not stand by the materials they use. read more

On Thursday, they arrived on time, clean, and professional looking. They asked if it was okay to remove current shower doors, they measured, and gave me the quote in writing. He said it would take 3-5 business days for the other shower doors to arrive. By Monday of the next week, he was calling to schedule an appointment for the install. Local Glass is the absolute best. We had a major issue with their initial work that I truly feel most companies would have walked away and disappeared forever. This company completely guarantees their workmanship and ensures their customers are happy. I don't think there is a better way to determine how great a company is when an unexpected problem occurs and they resolve it quickly (this issue cost them a sizable amount of $).
