Unfortunately the mall does not enforce any mandate. Their own website and Instagram page even shows the director and employees who run the mall with no PPE on taking pictures with people. They currently have a testing site next to Applebee's and while people wait for their results. People can go shopping while they wait...?It's sad that the mall only has signs up that say masks are not required and even their own security that they hire through a 3rd party doesn't even wear their masks while walking around or wear it correctly. The mall is a nice place, but the way it's run it's as almost they don't care and hope people will follow the rules. Sorry, but not sorry Spinoso Real Estate Group. You might want enforce things a bit more. Sooo why do I come here? Because I'm from Solano, and by default I have to step foot every time I'm home in Fairfield. Anywho, this mall is fine. Not that I ever shop here besides Macy's. This mall is failing on so many levels, we came here around 10:30 on a weekday with most stores we wanted to shop at still being closed. Yet the mall is open.. it was very confusing and such a let down. Most stores in here are dead and really isn't any I couldn't just go to target to buy. This mall is probably geared towards families. They have a carousel and a little play area for children. They also have Edwards theaters attached to the mall. My children love coming here because it means they are going to eat and get to play! My husband and I can sit down and relax for a little bit while they play. Every parent needs that!!! read more

I'm not really familiar with this area too much but my parents have taken me here a few times already. It's not as big as other malls in the Bay Area. I still prefer Stoneridge, Milpitas Great Mall, Valley Fair, Galleria etc. It's a rather small mall. Let's start with this is not fair because it should be negatives stars. Besides the mall falling apart at the seams I was just embarrassed beyond belief. I went into the store I believe is called sports affair or it was at Hilltop Mall but now that store is in Fairfield. I went in looked around checked out a couple shirts and left. As I was walking down the walkway of the mall the store owner was running at me telling me to stop I stole a hat! Ok no I don't but he did not think so. He yelled at me to open my bag in front of at least 20 to 25 people including other stores with people in them. Nothing was in my bag then he yelled it's in my sweat shirt I lifted it up nothing there. Pockets undershirts everything emptied nothing there. It took security 5 minutes to show up and I wanted a supervisor but they were too busy to address the issue. Wow Really. Them I had to write a report and turn it in. 6 hours later have not heard from anyone. So before you come here think twice go to Vacaville outlets or Concord mall because this mall just lost a customer of 30 plus years. read more

I've read the Yelp reviews in order to try and understand why people give Westfield such a low rating. The number one complaint is the ghetto factor. I don't see it. I really don't. I've visited this mall a few times now and is as good as it gets for a city like Fairfield. Bloomingdales? Please, you're not in Walnut Creek. Ghetto? Far from it. I invite you to visit my Richmond Hilltop Mall, where shootings have closed the mall on more than one occasion. The Westfield name has attracted many top retailers and department stores. The usual suspects include Macy's, Sears, JC Penny, and Best Buy. I've strolled through the mall a few times and there's a solid selection of retailers. I rarely shop retail due to my addiction to Amazon, but Westfield does do a good job of offering variety in Fairfield. The stores I've noticed include: Lids, GNC, Forever 21, GameStop, Hollister, Lenscrafters, Spencers, Frederick's, Victoria's, etc. The barber shop/tattoo shop seems to of been a better fit at Hilltop Mall rather than at Westfield. As for the food court, there's plenty of options, I even saw a sushi stand. I haven't tried any of the eateries, but I've made a mental note of the ones I'd like to try. Also, I've grown to really like Red Robin, which has all kinds of sandwiches and healthy options, and an Applebees and a Buffalo Wild Wings are alternative sit down restaurants. I'm from Hawaii, so I'm used to more upbeat fully-stocked stores thanks to the booming tourist industry. This mall is not like that. It's quiet..the employees are either really nice, or not nice and have no idea what they are talking about. It has some of the main stores I go to..but this mall is pretty much on the cheap side. I understand that the mall is having some theft issues but I as a black woman am very tired of the reoccurring experience I am having every time I try to go shopping. I walked around H&M on Saturday and noticed a store clerk staring me down as I shopped. I tried to ignore her and then suddenly security was near me while I was shopping and watching me. I was disgusted by the obvious assumption I was about to steal and I left with nothing. Then I went into Ulta and experienced a similar incident. When I walked in, there was a worker clearly on the other side of the store. She made an effort to follow me all the way to the other side of the store to see 'how I was doing' and lingered in the area while I shopped. Cut out the racism, Solano Town Center! It's insulting and hurtful. I work hard for my money and when I shop I don't want to be harassed. Compared to other malls I've been to, this one is just "meh." Mainly because most of the stores I actually went into have been removed and in its place are all stores that ALL LOOK THE SAME. I know they are focusing on a certain type of look and people but for the majority that may shop but it would be nice not having to drive to Napa or Vacaville to get some nice things. Put back American Eagle, add a Banana Republic or Gap. Sorry but I am WAY too told to keep shopping at Forever 21 even tho I look young enough. The only reason I come here anymore is for the theater, if I don't want to pay the toll to go to Concord, or to eat at Chick-Fil-A (the ONLY place worth going in the mall, except for maybe Best Buy). A lot of the people who frequent this mall look like they belong in gangs or something and look rather shifty, so I don't really feel the safest here, as others have said. I'd rather go to Stoneridge mall, even though it's incredibly yuppie over there. And what the heck did they do to the place? Did the "renovations" or whatever they did succeed in making the place look even more ghetto or is it just me? The front sign in front of MacDonald's looks downright atrocious. I can't consider how rude t-mobile customer service. I call around 1:48 pm today getting more info on our insurance claim. The associate who picked up the phone name kanji or Jenji (he sounds like Indian) gave me a wrong insurance number. I ring again and informed him that the insurance customer service number is not working. (Now this is after calling 3x on their 611 and can't get tied into their insurance department.) This is how he responds: 1. He didn't apologize for providing me a wrong figure. He was like "oh? It's not working?" In the back of my brain, I'm already thinking, what kind of CS is this? 2. I still maintain my calm and asked him if we can claim it to their store (Since when we purchased the phone his coworker never tell us that there is a copayment of $170+) He stated that if I chose to upgrade he can surely help me, but if not, they can't do anything. 3. I explained to him what happened during the date of purchased. I mean, I don't actually care if we need to pay. My point is to let them know, that it is really unethical for the sales person to sell insurance without discussing the co-payment. That is like lying to your LOYAL customers. NOT everyone knows the policy. 4. Guess what? This T-Mobile Rep was arguing with me like we have a relationship for 10 years! He was explaining his side like he works hard for our relationship and I'm the bad one!!!!! Hello?!!!! I am your CUSTOMER, not your wife! Your job as CS: a. To listen carefully to the customer concerns without interrupting them (no matter how loaded they can be) Write/record their concern, including the time of call, best contact #, and customer statement b. This mall has had it's ups and downs over the time of it's existence, as have most malls. Right now it seems as though the economy is making a turn for the better and it shows in this mall. They've been plunking money into renovations for the food court and other areas. It's pretty nice. But a mall is after all just a mall, a strip of store and food and novelties. So here you go. I don't understand how this place has so many bad reviews.. I loved it here. When I was stationed in Travis AFB, this place was awesome. I would come here all the time to watch a movie, grab a bite or just do random shopping. There was always plenty of parking and the eye candy was awesome too. The shops are actually a lot more diverse than what I'm finding here in Massachusetts so I guess it's all a matter of perspective. Honestly the best part of this mall is the movie theater that's located inside. Though it's small, I've never had an issue catching a movie I've really wanted to see. The only gripe I have is the douchebag military people who walk in with their uniforms on. Ok I get it.. you're in the military ... whooop de freaking do! Solano Mall is a nice place... I guess. It's just the Sears in that mall that's the source of all my hatred. I don't really go around talking trash but I just need to speak my mind. Sears is NOT even worth walking into. I waited for 58 minutes to get help and when someone was finally available, he (the employee) didn't even look at me. This mall is good for where it is. I usually always compare it to Valley Fair Mall in San Jose, but I can't do that because the demographics are so different. The majority of people in San Jose have much more money and a fancier taste, whereas in Fairfield....there is no class. This mall has stores such as JCP, Macy's, Best buy, AE, Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works, Tilly's, F21, Pac Sun, Aero, Cinnabon, a food court which about 7 food places (and other food places in the mall such as Orange Julius, DQ, Mrs. Fields, Sees Candy, Red Robin, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Applebees. This mall is fine. It is a little dirty and I'm not a fan of the people there because they're pretty trashy, but you get used to it. read more

This particular Westfield Mall doesn't live up to its Westfield reputation, unfortunately. Stores that I usually visit include: Victoria's Secret, Express, Old Navy, Aldo, Forever 21, and... that's about it. Sometimes, I visit Macy's. It's not a very happening place; I wish it had more stores... Some things about this mall, it connects to Best Buy and the movie theatre so that's kind of cool. There's a carousel in the mall too, but I never see people riding it. There's no centralized food court, so there's just food places here and there... some include: Apple Bee's, Red Robin, Hot Dog on a Stick, Cinnabon, etc... Anyway, lots of teenagers and kids hang out at this mall, which might be why I try to avoid this place. If you want to visit a Westfield, I would suggest going into SF.. or just visit the outlets at Vacaville or Napa to get your shopping done. read more

Props to this mall for being clean and well managed. I suppose that's all that's necessary when you're there simply to window shop. My brother and I wandered around for a couple of hours, chatting, and popping in and out of stores. The mall had some typical mall stores and a few that I'd never seen before (e.g. "As Seen on TV"). There were a LOT of cell phone carriers and kiosks for mobile phone accessories. I generally thought that all of the stores were lower-end and catered to teens or people on a restricted budget. I usually don't write about the clientele of an establishment; however, this mall seemed to attract a specific kind of person (or family, as it were). Furthermore, my brother commented that there were a lot of school-aged children present that ought to have been in school during the hours when we were there. read more

This mall, like every mall has a lot of "teeny boppers" and young kids that roam around like they own the place. Which is so common but very irritating. The walk ways are big so it's easy to move around. Great selection of eateries and specialty retail stores! There are no Luxury Brand Boutiques but a mall is a mall and this one is just fine if you're in the area. read more

This place brings back so many memories. Being 12 and walking the mall with your best friend with a whole $10 in your pocket. Or seeing your first movie without your parents. My first job was even at this mall. I can't say that I spend a whole lot of time here anymore, but when I do it's always a relatively pleasant experience. The stores they have don't really appeal to me because well, I'm not a teenager anymore. Forever 21, Old Navy, Hollister, Zumiez, and Hot Topic are all very popular stores they have here. Sadly, stores like Gap and American Eagle have left this mall. My HUGE issue with this mall are the cell phone salesmen who literally harass you as you walk by. No I don't want to upgrade my phone or switch carriers, now leave me alone. I've had some follow me before. Super creepy and unprofessional. Similarly (but not as bad) experience with kiosk vendors. Please do not grab my hands and rub lotion on them. It's gross and you have invaded my personal space. Finally, and this probably makes me sound like an old crotchety lady, but there are tons of rude teenagers who overrun the mall on the weekends. Add some nicer clothing stores for young adults, a J. Crew & Zara would be great, and have more security to stop the harassing cell phone salesmen and I think more people would enjoy their time here. read more

It is absolutely impossible to get in contact with mall personnel through the phone. All the extensions never answer -even during business hours- and the mail boxes are full or not initialized. The convenience of this mall seems to get over looked and is pretty much underestimated. There are three large department stores, sporting goods, electronics, arcade, food court, three different restaurants, and theater. Let's face it, it's quite possibly the best latter to Hilltop mall - no questions asked. As a disclaimer I will say I work at one of the restaurants here and have for the last 3 years, and thus have a different view of things. The mall manager who was here previously left for another location and I am not sure if it is coincidence but since then this place has really gone down hill. The security staff is utterly unreliable, either through poor management or training/hiring. The always respond late to fights, and oh are there fights. Though we are of course in just one location at the mall, we have had the privilege of providing chairs and tables for 3 fights over the holiday season. This place is as has been said, ghetto. It is in desperate need of a curfew for the minors so they can bring families back. We've talked to other merchants and no one is particularly happy with either the clientle or sales and to me this is a security issue. It was redecorated over last year and while it is more aesthetically pleasing I am still laughing outwardly every time I come in and see all that carpet. Parking during the holidays is also nonexistent and if you show up after noon you had better be looking to twenty four fitness and sears auto. Stores are regular mall fair, catering excessively to urban style clothing. Two high points, are the John T's, which is an eclectic hobby shop and a Chick-fil-a (my work). On the road again with my Hottie Blade on our way to a wedding in Sacramento. Yes, T and J finally got married. But on the way to Sac Town we had to stop for lunch. Yes, full 5 of 5 points here. Clean server? Young and hot and clean for 5 of 5 points. Clean bathroom? Actually, for a restaurant in a mall is was much cleaner than I expected! 4 of 5 points. Subtotal = 14 of 15 Fussy Points on the Clean Scale. Service? 3 of 5 points. Would have been 4 of 5 but they messed up my order and brought french fried potatoes instead of the onion rings I wanted. Yes, embarrassing but true, Fussy likes onion rings. Ambiance? 3 of 5 points. The interior looks like the love-child of a TGI Fridays and Mel's Diner. A happy-go-lucky love-child so they get 3 points. Friends from Finland Practical Scale? 4 of 5 points. Once you find the place it's fairly practical with a good selection on the menu. Food? 6 of 10 points. I had the BBQ chicken burger with onion strings. Very tasty. Blade had the fried shrimp platter and shared with me. Price/Food ratio? 3 of 5 points. Bonus? 0 of 5 points. Ok, so, it's a mall. -strike one. It's a Westfield mall - strike two. It's in Fairfield -strike three! It's decent. I suppose. It's pretty much the only thing in town to do, so EVERYONE is there. It's overcrowded, and no one is aware of other people. So I guess it's the people that are irritating, rather than the mall itself. It's nice that they open early for the elderly to walk in the morning. It's relatively clean, and they have alright security. They also have a nice little play area for children. Which is unsupervised. Which means ignorant people just drop their kids off to play. Which sucks. If you go at the "right time" you'll see responsible parents observing their children while they play. There are a few restaurants that offer more than just deep-fried things, but over-all the quality is so-so. Chain everything, nothing original really. read more

Considering that this mall is one of the only major shopping centers in the Fairfield area, it manages to fulfill my needs when it comes to shopping, services, and amenities. First off, all of the typical mall stores can be found here (Teavana, Zumiez, Bath and Body Works, among others), and some that are more interesting (personal engraving and anime collectibles, anyone?). Also, this mall has all of the major department stores like Sears, JCPenney, Macy's, Best Buy, Sports Authority, a HUGE Forever 21, and a two-story H&M. There's also a movie theater (Edwards Cinema) attached to this mall, and it's the only one that has IMAX projection without having to leave Solano County. For dining, the food court has lots of options, from fast food (McDonald's, Panda Express, etc.), to unique options like Quickly's, Filipino cuisine, (Ináy), and a really nice gelato place. There are also sit-down types of restaurants located here like Red Robin, Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebee's, and Jack's Masala. As of late, the H&M opened recently, the Victoria's Secret is undergoing renovation and a Pink by VS store is opening soon in the mall, expanding shopping options for the Fairfield area. Overall, I have a good time here. Whether I'm just window shopping or getting some major shopping out of the way, I have always had an enjoyable time going to this mall. read more

This is a mall. It has vendors in the place that try to sell you pillows, curl your hair, offer you an electronic cigaretter, and place aromatherapeutic pillows on your shoulders. It has your regular run-of-the-mill stores, but also some crazy stores too (i.e. a tattoo-barber shop). Did I mention there is a giant carosel in the middle? Plenty of places to eat: Buffalo Wild Wings, AppleBees, Red Robin, Mongolian BBQ, McD's and a few other smoothie and pretzel joints. The main anchors are the new Forever 21, JCPenny, Sears, Best Buy, and Old Navy. The mall is kept clean, both in appearance and in the restrooms. Westfield Management is trying really hard to vamp up the mall, by introducing more name brand stores. It's not too crazy during the holiday season. If I distance were not an issue, I wouldn't prefer this mall, however with the inception of better stores, I *may* become a fan in the future. read more
