When I brought it to the register, the cashier removed the tag and said it couldn't be sold because it had been priced incorrectly. I understand mistakes happen, and I wasn't asking to get it for the incorrect price. I simply asked if it could be repriced and held so I could come back and purchase it at the correct price. I was told no, and the response included laughter and a comment like, "Haha, yeah, probably not," which left me feeling embarrassed. My concern isn't the policy: it's how the interaction was handled!!! A little empathy would have made a disappointing situation much easier to accept. I hope management reviews how situations like this are communicated, because this has otherwise been a great neighborhood thrift store.

Fairfield was close. We were in heaven when we walked through the door. Rick was fabulous. I have a very fragile back and my daughter has issues with hers. Rick knew right where to begin to look. I ended up buying the first mattress that he had me try and my daughter bought the second. For her it was a hard choice. We also ended up getting pillows that have been a godsend. The first night we slept on our new mattresses with our new pillows was a night from heaven. My 30 pound dog loves making the bed with me and the cat sleeps all day on my daughter's bed with his toy. We ordered new mattress protecters through your store and are thrilled with their performance. Can't say enough good things about Rick and the store. He instantly knew what to show us that would meet our needs. He is very friendly and professional at the same time (hard to find anymore). I wish I could deal with him for everything I buy. We tried about 7 different mattresses, but I kept going back to the one that I eventually bought. (It was the black Helix mattress by the window!) Within days, my back began to realign and I feel like I'm actually getting SLEEP. Akin delivered it to my house, and he took my old mattress. He showed me how to replace the topper, and gave me tips on how to be successful with the mattress. I am so thankful that I walked into Mattress Barn that day.

After a brief conversation where Tina educated me a bit more about the process, she agreed to meet at my parents estate in a few days, and she showed up with her partner promptly at the agreed upon time. They were very kind and understanding, and took a good look at what was in the house, asked a bunch of questions, answered a bunch more questions, and generally were great to work with. Unfortunately, there was not enough stuff in the house to make it worthwhile to do an Estate Sale, and they seemed quite apologetic about that, but they still gave me lots of great advice on how to proceed with my goals, as well as the few things that knew from experience would be worth trying to sell separately. During those years you have think that they learn how to get back to customers in a timely fashion.
