These guys are the real deal. I scheduled to have some paint overspray cleaned off my solar panels and they came out within a week to get it all done for me. They gave me a time window for between 10am and 11am. They showed up right at 10am and we're done within a half hour. The price they gave was by far the best I got from all the other companies. They are extremely professional and neat while onsite as well. Allen, responded to every little question within minutes whether through text messaging or the yelp app. He had planned to come out on Mother's Day to do the work but I preferred him to pick another day so he came the day before which I really appreciated. Solar Doctors came out to the house to diagnose a failed inverter and their technician Dan was great! The initial appointment was above and beyond. After diagnosing, the solar manufacturer would not allow us as the system owner to go through the warranty process without a verified solar installer. Have tried calling back to Solar Doctor for weeks and had no response. Left multiple messages with no response. Incredibly frustrating & disappointed for how good the initial appointment was. read more

Called around for solar service since the company that put our system up 2 years ago is out of business. Found Solar Doctors, gave them a call & made an appointment. He came out at 7am Sunday to check our system and found the problem in about 40mins, fixed the bad connection that wasn't sealed properly from the installer. Our system is up and running!! Solar Doctors literally just pulled away, and I am extremely satisfied with their work. I had a hard time getting any help with the removal of the very old solar panels that came with the 2-story house I purchased. Most people said they do not do removals, or could not help me due to the steep pitch of my roof and narrow access, and told me the project would requiring setting up scaffolding, which would be expensive. All I did was text Josh pictures of my roof and he told me that Solar Doctors could take care of, would not require scaffolding, and gave me a quote immediately. When they arrived they set up a system of safely passing the old solar panels from one person to the other towards the front of the house. No scaffolding required. Work complete by the early afternoon. The price was very affordable. They gave me an update on the condition of my roof when they were done. I will certainly be using Solar Doctors for all future solar panel needs. Highly recommend. read more

They don't pick up calls, don't get back to you... they leave home owners in the total dark when they're just trying to get their system operational. Solar doctors just finished installation of the second system they've installed for me (first one was a few years ago in Berkeley). Both times, I shopped around and got multiple quotes. Solar Doctor's had very competitive pricing both times. Their installation crew was very professional, friendly, and quick. While I was probably more demanding in designing the system than the average customer, Solar Doctors was happy to customize the design to my preferences. We had a permit hangup for our second installation (a prior permit was expired, the prior owners' fault), and Solar Doctors went above and beyond to resolve the hangup and get our solar permit.
