Solar Pro is one very impressive company. They are extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell. It was a real pleasure working with Mary Ann and crew. Their pricing is very competitive as well. If you are looking to get your windows "retinted" you should strongly consider Solar Pro. I received quotes from other companies who claim to be proficient at "retinting". However, I received a bid from one company who was more than double Solar Pro's bid. I work in sales. When you offer a customer products or services at prices much higher than your competition, that is what I call a "go away price". That tells me that the company isn't very interested or confident in the job that they are offering. So, they bid extremely high to make it worth their while... Jamie is the lead-tint technician. He is extremely personable and knowledgeable. He and his assistant were in our house for 6-7 hours, retinting several colonial windows as well as 3 large double sliding doors. If you are familiar with colonial windows, each window consists of 6 or more separate panes of glass. An opening consists of 2-4 windows. It is quite a tedious process to scrape the tint from each pane of glass. It can be a little hairy too, with the possibility of cracking glass panes by using too much force. Jamie and crew have created a very efficient method for removing and replacing tint. I watched them too. There were no shortcuts to be had either. They used a lot of elbow grease to get the job done very well as well as in a timely manner. Mary Ann's business card says Window Treatment Specialist, and SPECIAL she is!!! I was looking for window treatments and did not have any referrals. So, I went to Yelp for help. I was a little hesitant to hire someone I didn't know, yet I relied on the excellent reviews, and chose Solar Pro Inc. to purchase window coverings for my entire house. The customer service was excellent. Mary Ann arrived promptly, and was more than happy to come to my house multiple times since I couldn't make a design decision initially. Her expertise was evident as she explained the beautifully made zebra shades that I chose. The product was excellent. I was amazed at the installation as I had a unique situation with my molding that sat next to the window. It actually had to be cut down. No problem for Mary Ann as she called the installer and it was done in a professional manner. The shades were hung and all the stripes matched up beautifully. A well-done job! I am so pleased that I met Mary Ann, and hired a company with excellent customer service that goes above and beyond expectations, offers reasonable prices, and provides an excellent product. My only regret - - - Now, I don't have any more windows that need coverings so I can work with Solar Pro Inc. again!!! This company is amazing from the beginning of window tint consultation to completion of work. Mary Anne arrived to my house at the scheduled time and took her time to explain all my tinting options showing me numerous samples and explaining the benefits of each one, she helped me pick the best option for my home and got me scheduled for tint installations. The day of installation Jaime kept me updated on his arrival time and when his team got here and completed the work I was so impressed, they moved any furniture that needed to be moved, prepped every window as needed and did an amazing job installing high quality tint, best of all at the end of the job they returned all furniture and cleaned up work area like if they were never there. Jaime also showed me the heat deflection of the tint with his heat meter which showed me the great quality of tint they were providing. This is perhaps the best window treatment and blinds provider in all of South Florida. I needed black outs and blinds for all of my windows and door in my condo on the beach. Solar Pro were true pros and came out and measured everything as promised, and followed up with installation in a couple of weeks. Solar Pro is a local business that just does it all correctly and affordable. Maryanne comes out promptly to consult and quote you. Jaime then comes out to do your install. He and his help are courteous, professional, helpful and clean up. Jaime even followed up on July 4th to make sure everything was good and that I was satisfied. My house gets the East sun in the morning and West in the evening and would commonly get to 80F during the day. This tint brought me down to 76F and 77F on a 96F day. Mary Anne is the best. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We had our windows tinted and it made a world of difference. We also had these gorgeous blinds installed.
