    Lines at the top
    Daniel R.

Took the fam sledding. It was fun, we had a good time. It was expensive, for around $50/person for 2 hours of sledding. The magic carpet takes roughly 7 minutes, then the lines at the top take another 15-20 minutes. In 2 hours we went about 6 times, we even walked all the way up twice so it was faster than standing in the line at the bottom and riding the magic carpet. The working crew didn't seem super efficient, there were long periods of time we'd just stand around waiting to get the okay to go. There seemed to be a shortage of staff or something. Then they said the snow was too fast, so they switched everyone from green to black tubes which we nearly stopped 3/4 of the way down. We barely made it to the bottom. It was lame. They only allowed single or doubles with the green tubes and with the black bottom tubes we were able to go as a group of 3. Maybe this varies depending on the weather. To take a family of 5 and have it cost $250+ is spendy for sure.

    Such a perfect day!

We had a great time here! I'm sad to see that others haven't had the best time. We may have been some of the lucky ones but the day we were here the conveyor belt was working just fine. The sun was out & we had a blast sledding down their different hills! We were able to race each other and it was such a fun experience for the whole group! I can't wait to come back every year now that we live in Utah!

This place is a winter activity staple. It's a little pricey (more so on the weekends and holidays) but well worth it in my opinion if you go with a fun group! There are 5-6 different hills to go down - none too different than the others but all vary a little in speed and slope. Kids age 3+ can go making it a great family activity. You need to reserve a time slot in advance. Show up a little before your slot to go into the lodge and get your passes. Don't want to waste your slot time there! They have an electric belt that you can stand on with your tube to go up the hill but you cannot walk on it. The belt does occasionally stop for a few minutes due to rider complications so we opted for walking up to not risk wasting time. The area is gorgeous and the lodge has food and a fire inside.

Not sure why this place has such low ratings! My family and I went sledding on our trip to Utah, and it exceeded my expectations, not even capping. The check in process was smooth, prices were cheaper than Park city, but what really made us happy were the VIEWS !!! Seriously, sledding down the hill you could see so much of the beautiful trees, snow, and the vibes were great. I loved how long the sledding hill was too. After around 4-5 runs, we were pooped out. But it was fun, I would recommend coming right when they open so there's less of a crowd.

We had a blast! So much fun, lines were not long at all we were able to ride about 5 times before we got tired lol everyone was so nice! I definitely recommend this spot for snow tubing we paid under 50$ for 2!

We had an okay time. I will say, the tubing was fun for a couple of runs that we were able to. The experience is definitely geared towards larger families with kids. I would not recommend going during the busy days/busy times/busy season. We did more waiting in line than actual tubing. There were so many people at the top waiting making the lines unfunctional. For 2 hours we went down about 3 times. I would also say the customer service was lacking, especially with the associates outside running the operations. Lanes kept getting closed down as time went on. Also, there was a rule change that you couldn't go down in pairs unless you are with a child under 10 years old. It would have been nice for someone to communicate to us why, that would probably result in less guest frustration and negative questioning. The holiday prices are "meh" for tubing in Utah ($32) but we wouldn't necessarily go back to visit again or recommend it.

We had a great time! Friendly Staff, perfect weather, lots of laughs...not too crowded!

This was their response to our dissatisfaction. Didn't take an ounce of accountability for $160 spent for 1 ride. Ridiculous.

Don't over book so that people get more than 2 runs in a two hour block. The runs are fun at least, just wish we could do more.

Disclaimer: "Advised to NOT stay here until after construction is complete in early 2027*…read more Not one bit of information was available on the website or in any of the emails I received letting us know that the many "resort" amenities were under construction and no longer available. So imagine our surprise when we arrive for a two night stay during spring break at this "resort" and have no idea where to park as everything is under construction. We finally circle a dirt parking lot a few times trying to find a building to check-in but all we find is an empty golf cart saying guest services. I try repeatedly calling the office # on my reservation yet no one answers. We finally come across another family that tells us we can walk all the way around or wait until a golf cart arrives. Well we have several pieces of luggage so we wait. And wait. And wait. Then the golf cart shows up and there is no way we can fit all of our items on, so we had to wait for a second cart. The check-in process was fine except for the rude gal who seemed annoyed by my questions, like how long does the construction go on throughout the day. 6am-10pm by the way. There is a small "restaurant" on site called The Sunroom but is only open Friday & Saturday. The Milk House serves a few premade items that get heated up in a microwave and taste weeks old and during our stay one gal was taking care of the whole place. The room was okay. The pullout bed was awful and the patio would be nice if you enjoy listening to a huge jackhammer and the beeping noises of other construction vehicles from sunup till after sundown. The tv reception was hit & miss and there were no children's channels. There was a sound machine that helped slightly. The itty bitty bottles they left us for the shower did not suffice for 3 humans. Oh and if you need ice, you have to ask the front desk. The only highlight of our stay was the pools. They were enjoyable and each had a different temperature that could make you comfortable whether you like them cooler, warmer or hot. Also, everything is handled via text. They don't answer phones, and even texts take awhile to return. The day before we were to check out I asked specifically for a cart to pick us up at 11:30am, we waited and waited and no one showed up, so I then again texted asking for a pickup. This resort was expensive for just a decent room and a pool. The Best Western would have been nicer. They either need to make future guests more aware of the lack of amenities and discount the pricing for false advertisement. Eventually this is going to be a very nice Marriott resort and by then the price will have doubled for a stay. However, our family was beyond disappointed in the money paid for what should have been a relaxing getaway.

Hiring Hoopes was the best decision I made…read more I found Hoopes online through reviews so I want to be sure to share my feedback! We were thrown quite a curve ball the day of my wedding in that due to a completely unforeseeable situation, our venue became unavailable. I work as a project manager and can admit I am a very hands-on and organized person. I originally did not plan to hire any additional planning or coordinating services but finally decided an extra pair of hands would be helpful. Even if everything had gone according to plan, Roberta & Shelby were SO much more than just the extra pair of hands I thought I needed. There was no way any of us could have predicted the last minute venue change, but Roberta & Shelby handled it flawlessly. Without them, no amount of my organization or planning could have pulled off our wedding the way they did. Roberta was incredibly professional. She notified me early on of the changes, but only after she had time to begin working out a new action plan. I appreciated being kept in the loop, but also appreciated that she didn't call me the second the news broke...informing me of problems without potential solutions to offer would have been extra stress I didn't need in that moment. Roberta & Shelby were also absolutely in sync with Park City Resort and all of my other vendors. The communication and coordination was excellent. Because they had both taken the time to get to know me and understand my vision in the weeks leading up to the wedding, they did an amazing job of recreating our decor in a new venue space. Everything was exactly how I would have liked to see it, even though I wasn't available to provide any input. The planning leading up to our wedding was also perfectly executed. Roberta & Shelby asked the right questions, ran with my ideas, and prompted me to think about different approaches when appropriate. Roberta & Shelby are both extremely capable and professional, but what makes them stand a part from other professionals in your field is how genuine they are. They genuinely wanted to make this wedding my dream wedding, and they went above and beyond at every turn. Roberta even offered to hold our guest's baby during dinner so the couple could enjoy their meal. Although this wasn't something I saw, at least 20 of my guests did notice and made a point to tell me how amazing the Hoopes team was! That's exactly the kind of detail only a person genuinely committed to delivering an above and beyond experience would even think to do. My husband (!) and I are blown away by the HOOPES team.

There is not a boring inch in the whole facility as they even decorate their employee access doors with intricate art work. Tasteful planters everywhere. The employees and volunteers are helpful and friendly. Such interesting information on species and habitats. A shout out for their café. Reasonable prices for delicious food. It was $13 for a pub smash burger and drink and fries. Only a couple of bucks more than a #1 at In-N-Out. It was really tasty! Bun was homemade delicious. The fries were exceptional. Crispy outside and creamy inside. Garlic fries. My wife had the Romain lettuce something bowl with pulled pork. She said it was excellent. Very generous portion as she got full half way through. My son then scarfed it down. I also couldn't resist and had to buy a chocolate cupcake. Very moist and the frosting was real frosting, not the yucky, airy stuff that grocery stores put on their sheet cakes. Pretzels are amazing. We did the ECCO virtual reality "ride." Of course, not anywhere near a Disneyland level of a ride, but it was informative and interesting and fun. You can do the ocean or Amazon river experience. We did both. This is free and included in your admission. I really like how they put benches to sit throughout the facility. When you visit such places, you get "mall legs" and sitting down is a respite. Highlights: Penguins! (So cute and funny!), shark tunnel, touch ponds, otters, jelly fish, giant fish, aviary. There is a very nice little kids' playground. Interesting to get an up close look at the claw (ECCO). [It was the staging for U2's 360° concert tour for lighting, video, sound, SFX. The aquarium owner saw it was for sale and bought it. it was dissembled, shipped, and re-assembled.] Get there when they open or close to it for close in parking and less crowds. Such a great place to have nearby. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
